25/04/2024: Mi associo a tutte le recensioni che vi dicono di diffidare dal posto in cui è collocata questa trattoria, un po' isolato e apparentemente poco attrattivo. Entrate senza indugi e ordinate i piatti della tradizione Toscana, serviti in porzioni abbondanti e semplici ma davvero goduriosi. Abbiamo provato i pici con stufato alla sangiovannese e i pici con sugo alla Nana (anatra)... Le foto parlano da sole! Davvero buonissimi e soprattutto abbiamo apprezzato molto che fossero fatti in casa. Lampredotto con carciofi eccezionale. Un grande pregio di questi piatti è il condimento: i sapori sono così genuini e autentici che i piatti non risultano pesanti o poco digeribili. Infatti a concludere il tutto c'è stata una fetta di torta al cocco e un bel bicchierino di vin santo (P. S. tutti i dolci sono fatti in casa!... Cantuccini, torte, crostata, tiramisù, panna cotta con marmellata di mirtilli o al caramello).
Prezzo assolutamente giusto per tutta questa bontà (abbiamo speso 60€ in due).
Credo che torneremo prima di ripartire!!!

29/12/2023: Very good home made food. We tried Lasagna and liver. Arrived late after the kitchen was closed, but they still improvised a very nice late lunch for us. Wine: skippable. They offer typical Tuscan food in a non pretentious setting. But very good.

30/03/2024: We stopped for dinner. Pici with cheese and pepper. A little too al dente.... cheesecake, so-so. NORMAL PRICE. The only note of merit, THE WAITER. CONGRATULATIONS 👏👏👏 A VERY CUTE AND SUPER FAST BOY. 💯💯💯

Very friendly owner with good and sweet staff
Very good food in a charming small restaurant
16/05/2024: The terrace had cheap plastic chairs and tables. Was definitely not comfortable on this. I almost felt like I would fall through it if I shifted in my chair.
Service was okay, but less than other restaurants we visited here this week.
The food was not tasty. I had meat with parmesan cheese and balsamic vinegar. I forgot the type of meat, but it was anything but tender. I had to try very hard to come to terms with it all.
Later we had desserts. Wrong dessert was delivered. They wanted to adjust this, but that would take time. Since I wasn't feeling well, I kept the tiramisu. The tiramisu was okay in taste, but in terms of structure it looked like you were eating a bowl of whipped cream. Unfortunately we will not be coming back here again.

03/04/2024: Restaurant of the hotel where we stayed, nice place and pleasant food. We ate very well and were happy with the quality of the food and the preparation of it.
The service unfortunately hurts the experience. The behavior of the waiters towards us was rude and unprofessional. It really seemed like they wanted us out as soon as possible, it could be due to tiredness or the working day NO but it's not an excuse to treat customers (people) in this way.
For the rest I recommend it.
