15/02/2026: Welcoming restaurant with helpful staff. The food is very good, except for the surprise braised cheek, which we found very sweet with a strong chocolate note. But otherwise, highly recommended.
07/02/2026: I stopped in this little restaurant, attracted by the delicacies on the veranda, a very cute, welcoming and Tuscan-style atmosphere, as was its menu. Antonio the chef delighted us with Tuscan dishes and more, everything was taken care of down to the smallest details and the service was attentive and excellent. I highly recommend it, one of the few times I've eaten better than at home.

07/03/2026: Too bad. Until recently, they told me it was a good restaurant, now... For God's sake. I have Spanish friends and I know how they eat in Spain, so I speak with knowledge of the facts. Let's start with the menu: it's okay that the concept may have been adapted, but in a Spanish restaurant I don't expect to find carbonara or pasta alla sorrentina among the first courses, so I think: "Is this a way to meet demand?" Then I continue browsing and find serious inconsistencies. Okay, I'll have something typical: polpo a la Gallega (Galician-style octopus, served with potatoes and pimenton - paprika -)... so four octopus tentacles on five slices of boiled potato with low-quality paprika thrown in by the bucketload. Not a drizzle of oil, not a pinch of salt. A bland dish, without identity, without flavor. To be honest, not even in a canteen does one eat so blandly (and not for free, mind you, €10 a portion). Okay, let's see the broken egg (an egg cooked a certain way, with prosciutto and sliced ​​potatoes, as per the original recipe). A simple fried egg is brought with pre-fried potato sticks and three slices of prosciutto on top (also not cheap: €10). Okay, let's get down to the wine; a bottle of Ribolla, a white wine, was warm. Extra virgin olive oil from Carrefour. In short, for the price, I expected more, a more thoughtful and refined dish, but instead, it was a disappointment on all fronts. The ambiance would even be nice if it weren't for the pieces of sheet metal here and there, the dusty fake vegetation, and the decor that's meant to look radical chic but is actually a jumble of metal chairs and tables mixed with shoddy IKEA furniture. Hasta luego... Never again.
22/02/2026: It was a lovely discovery in Empoli, near the station. The place is meticulously maintained and features sophisticated, trendy decor. Excellent for an aperitif with tapas.

27/04/2025: Trattoria onestissima, dove provare i sapori di una volta. Porzioni generose e buona qualità della materia prima. In tre (compreso un bambino) abbiamo optato per un antipasto toscano (molto ricco), uno spaghetto alla carrettiera (la porzione era per due ma in tre ci abbiamo manfiato alla grande) e una porzione di patate e verdure al forno (gustosissime). Mezzo litro di vino, acqua e caffè per un contro poco al di sotto dei 60 euro. Consigliatissimo. La zona è molto tranquilla, fuori dal centro di Empoli e facilmente raggiungibile dalla SGC FI.PI.LI.
22/03/2025: Tutto molto buono, cucina tipica Toscana, dai sapori antichi. Consiglio per qualsiasi occasione. Ampio parcheggio privato interno.
