02/02/2026: Historic restaurant, beautiful atmosphere, young, very helpful and friendly waiters.
There were 8 of us.
An appetizer of cured meats and crostini was supposed to be for one person, but it was very generous.
A portion of tripe and pappardelle with wild boar for 6.
For the main course, a 1.5 kg Florentine steak, a rib-eye steak, a sliced steak, and three fillets with truffles.
A couple of desserts, coffee, and grappa.
Sangiovese wine with the restaurant's own label, 3 bottles, and water.
Bill €57 per person.
Historic restaurant, quality food, very kind and knowledgeable young waiters.

14/01/2026: Excellent hospitality, the dining room is beautiful and elegant. The dishes are exquisite. I recommend the pear parcels and the nettle gnocchi. We also ordered the grilled cod and the Livorno-style cod. 🍴🏆

06/01/2026: A family atmosphere, the owner Antonio is a fantastic guy, wearing a hat on his head and wearing a tee shirt all the way down to his shoulders. The food is simply exquisite, especially the braised cheek with wine and chocolate sauce...

31/12/2025: I can say, some people might like it based on the reviews, but personally, we arrived where the atmosphere was really awful and it was cold. The staff chatted a lot while introducing each dish to us, not even giving us time to choose, and insisted on a dish that you were sure what it was but denied it. In the end, it turned out to be a dish that was not eaten and in the end, unfortunately, they had to throw it away. For me, that's a no.
14/11/2025: A different kind of place, excellent food, and excellent, discreet service.
Rosario politely suggests Spanish dishes to ensure guests have the best experience.
Definitely recommended.

27/04/2025: Trattoria onestissima, dove provare i sapori di una volta. Porzioni generose e buona qualità della materia prima. In tre (compreso un bambino) abbiamo optato per un antipasto toscano (molto ricco), uno spaghetto alla carrettiera (la porzione era per due ma in tre ci abbiamo manfiato alla grande) e una porzione di patate e verdure al forno (gustosissime). Mezzo litro di vino, acqua e caffè per un contro poco al di sotto dei 60 euro. Consigliatissimo. La zona è molto tranquilla, fuori dal centro di Empoli e facilmente raggiungibile dalla SGC FI.PI.LI.
22/03/2025: Tutto molto buono, cucina tipica Toscana, dai sapori antichi. Consiglio per qualsiasi occasione. Ampio parcheggio privato interno.
