04/12/2025: Let me start by saying that I'm a foodie, passionate about cooking and a gourmand, so I have both food and cooking expertise and professional restaurant experience. I must say that this restaurant pleasantly surprised me. The atmosphere is elegant yet refined, the food is traditional and local yet gourmet, the ingredients are high-quality, and the service is excellent, friendly, warm, and professional (special mention goes to our top chef, Gianni). It's definitely worth a visit for those who haven't tried it. I'll be back soon.
03/12/2025: We called on a Saturday just an hour early and they seated us. As soon as you walk in, the Florentine steaks are in plain sight, with their cooking counter behind them. We ate typical Tuscan fare, with the Florentine steak, of course, cooked to perfection and very satisfying. Worth keeping in mind for a future trip.
Adequate service, as was the bill.

26/10/2025: A beautiful place that takes you back in time, with delicious traditional Tuscan cuisine. We had pappardelle with duck ragù, traditional cured meats, tortelli, and a Florentine steak. Everything was perfect, surrounded by a unique atmosphere and a nice bottle of Chianti. I'll be back next time!
18/10/2025: We were passing through the Calenzano area and, intrigued by the menu, which also offers vegetarian options, we booked.
The cuisine is top-notch; we recommend the tagliolini with buckwheat and truffles, a delight.
We enjoyed it so much that we returned on our return trip.

19/10/2025: This is a solid and versatile restaurant in the hills between Le Croci di Calenzano and the Barberino outlet: hearty Tuscan cuisine, generous portions, good value, and an unexpectedly wide selection of meat, fried, and fish dishes, with a focus on gluten-free and vegan options. The atmosphere is refined and informal, with convenient parking, an outdoor veranda for warmer weather, and friendly service; reservations are recommended on weekends.
19/10/2025: Excellent food: the crostini/crostoni were very good, the tagliata were delicious, and the fried artichokes were exquisite (the only complaint was that they were perhaps a little too salty). Fast and friendly service, a quiet atmosphere. The price was average. Overall, highly recommended!

29/10/2025: Today I'm writing a new review of my favorite restaurant for several reasons, delicious food, whether it's pizza, meat..... and desserts..... good price, excellent service, semi-family run, I often go to relax and enjoy a beautiful landscape and a nice evening, with my wife or friends, last time there were 4 of us, we wanted meat, but we wanted a mix, and I must say that the waiters, even though it was off the menu, they satisfied us, what more could you want?! Now I'm organizing a dinner with work colleagues, having in addition to the summer outside in the greenery, they have a large room and a smaller one inside, in fact I have celebrated various events there over the years, birthdays and family ceremonies with convenient packages, I highly recommend it!
26/10/2025: This is our second visit to the restaurant, and the food is very good, with attention to food intolerances. Depending on the season, you can also find fresh mushrooms.

08/12/2025: I returned to this restaurant because I've always eaten quality food there... unfortunately, today I'm here having to change my mind. It was a nasty surprise... low-quality food... mushrooms full of water, pici with bad ragu, and above all, au gratin fish passed off as grilled and above all, not good... I'm sorry to write this because we all work... but I expect quality... also because you can't eat bad food because you risk making people sick... BEWARE
07/12/2025: I'll start by saying we've always been to Oreste Campagna over the years, but now, with the new management, it seems absurd to me, with all due respect, to pay:
€2.50 for a coffee, which was also poorly made, considering I've worked in the restaurant business for years and can say this with certainty without malice. It was really watered down (there was no purge, for example). This price isn't even in the center of Florence. Embarrassing.
€10 for two canned Cokes.
And I'm only talking about the prices of the drinks because I find them more outrageous than the food.
It's not surprising, however, why on a Sunday lunch there were just me, my boyfriend, and a large table. I strongly recommend checking the prices again because it's unthinkable to have an experience like that in a quiet area like Legri.
As for the rest, there's nothing to complain about regarding the service and food, so I'm sorry it fell apart at the last minute. I hope my review is taken as constructive criticism because that place deserves a lot.
