06/06/2026: Fabrizio is a "tired but happy" owner: I'd describe him as an honest, friendly, capable, and kindhearted worker. Bacarretto is a family-run bistro, serving delicious, carefully prepared dishes. We had an excellent pasta alla norma—the fried eggplant melted in your mouth, truly delicious!—and a second course of smoked tuna with burrata, pistachios, apples, and orange sauce—which gave the dish a unique touch. The menu is limited, but this benefits the quality, and I'm sure every dish is prepared with the same care. The prices are low, especially when compared to the menus of nearby restaurants and, more generally, in Venice. The pleasure of eating them is yours; they put all their warmth and kindness into serving you. This is the kind of management we should encounter more often. A big compliment to all of them! P.S. Unfortunately, due to my dead cell phone battery, I wasn't able to take photos of the dishes, but trust me: you won't regret it.

03/06/2026: We visited this restaurant and ordered two pizzas, two mixed fried fish, two portions of French fries, a still water, a sparkling water, a Pepsi, and, to finish, two coffees. The pizzas were good and well-prepared, but the mixed fried fish didn't particularly impress us: we found it decent, but not quite up to expectations. The good thing was that at least it was all fish and not battered vegetables like other places do. The worst thing, however, was the bill. For what we ate, €133 seemed decidedly too much. We understand that prices can vary based on the quality of the ingredients and the service, but in our case, the quality-price ratio didn't seem right. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall, the experience was adequate thanks to the pizzas, but the final price left us rather perplexed.

02/06/2026: We didn't eat well and we paid a lot, it's a shame because in the past years we were doing well, we hope for a recovery.
