09/03/2025: Disappointing - The restaurant in question has a long and renowned history, but unfortunately the gastronomic experience did not live up to expectations. Although the restaurant presents itself as a point of reference for those looking for typical cuisine, the dishes served were anything but memorable. The appetizer, in particular, was disappointing due to its decidedly small portions: the platter featured a single slice of ham, a slice of salami, a salami, a couple, a single piece of cheese and two slices of porchetta) which absolutely do not justify the cost. The variety was limited, and the quality did not stand out compared to many other fraschettas in the area, which offer more abundant and tasty choices. Even the pasta dishes, which should be the flagship of the tradition, failed to stand out as one would have expected, appearing more like a standardized reproduction that did not truly express the richness of the local cuisine. The service, unfortunately, did not help improve the experience. Although the staff was courteous, the overall attitude seemed more mechanical than welcoming, without any particular attention or professionalism that justified the image of the restaurant. As for the wine, the choice of Romanella, unfortunately, did not bring that touch of authenticity that one would expect in a place with such a history. The bottle, commercially packaged, was served to us and we were the ones who had to open it at the table, a detail that certainly does not do justice to the reputation of the place. The bill, then, was certainly not cheap: €31 each for a first course and three starters shared between six people, not counting water and wine, seemed excessive compared to the overall quality of the experience. In conclusion, although the restaurant has a great history, the culinary offering, the service and the environment failed to make us feel the value of this tradition, and the prices seem not to be justified by the quality of the food and service received.

02/09/2024: Serata tra parenti posto consigliato da mio fratello che è un loro frequentatore da sconsigliare assolutamente. Chiesto menù da 25 euro comprendete antipasto più primo ci viene portato un antipasto da 20 euro che comprendeva 1 Mozzarella 1 ricottina al miele 1 fetta di prosciutto 1 melanzana grigliata 1 zucchina grigliata 1 fettina di mortadella grigliata 1 fettina di frittata al tartufo altezza omelette mezza salsiccia cotta al vino mezza salsiccia secca due piattini di porchetta e due fettine a testa di due diversi tipi di salami 8 primi 1 vino della casa 8 acque e 3 caffe dimenticavo un piattino di pasta al pomodoro per mio nipote totale in 8 persone 291 euro questi non sono prezzi da fraschetta fatto notare che avevamo chiesto il menù antipasto e primo con pagamento di differenza per i primi in quanto sono stati presi dei primi che costavano 1 euro in più di quelli compresi nel menù la loro giustificazione è stata che avevano portato il menù da 20 con solo antipasto. 01/09/2024: Una fraschetta con la F maiuscola per tuo ciò che abbiamo potuto gustare ed apprezzare. Materie prime infinitamente fresche. Servizio celere, cortese e professionale. Il titolare è stato attento ad ogni nostra pretesa. La porchetta la migliore di Ariccia. Complimenti.
