25/08/2024: Siamo capitati per caso in questa osteria nei vicoli di Ceglie. Atmosfera informale e cibo genuino cucinato con semplicità ma in maniera ottima. Il personale poi davvero gentile. Ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo.

15/08/2024: Ristorante caratteristico! Servizio ottimo veloce ed efficace. Cibo davvero buono, locale e cucinato perfettamente. Antispasti della casa infiniti… 10 portate una più gustosa dell’altra, tutti piatti tipici. Primo molto abbondati ma con ingredienti di prima qualità e pasta fresca fatta a mano. CONSIGLIO A PIENI VOTI. Proprietario gentilissimo e disponibilissimo. Ci tornerò sicuramente

28/08/2024: In search of typical local cuisine we entered the alleys of Ceglie to avoid the "tourist trap" restaurants with menus complete with photos of the dishes and with approximate translations of grilled meat which becomes Roast Meat. We find the Osteria del Chapter and without hesitation we sit down in a familiar and welcoming environment. The 3 of us ordered a house appetizer for 2 people consisting of many different truly tasty and genuine dishes. Followed by orecchiette with chop sauce (meat rolls), mixed grilled meat, artisanal and non-frozen fried potatoes, mixed salad. Everything really excellent. More than adequate account. We were kindly offered a homemade laurel bitters. Very helpful and kind staff. I will definitely go back

14/08/2024: The owner was certainly very kind and helpful but I didn't like the local appetizer nor the courses served one every half hour...does it take three hours to eat an appetizer? I was not impressed with the quality of the food. It's a shame, we could definitely do more.

19/08/2024: The place was chosen out of desperation as the other restaurants were very crowded. We waited 15 minutes to order while we saw waiters drinking, eating, laughing and joking. The dishes ordered were good, the side dish arrived after a reminder almost at the end of the meal. The environment from the outside is really beautiful, a gem, but confusion reigns inside, it's not clear who the waiters are and who the diners are. The orders are mixed up by table, the tables are not set carefully but randomly with tablecloths left stained, wrinkled, missing chairs etc.... The staff seems poorly qualified starting from their clothing (waiters in slippers, some with colored sweaters, some with a shirt and moccasins, some with a rapper's hat etc...) and their less than elegant ways of giving (waiters who drink beer and eat while on duty, they scream when speaking). The only real "gem" of this place is Cissé, the only waiter who worked diligently, who wore an apron and who ran from one part of the restaurant to another to make up for the shortcomings of the remaining staff. In conclusion, we didn't eat bad at all, on the contrary, but the catering also includes a decidedly more adequate service. I can't recommend this place, there's no shortage of restaurants in Cisternino!

12/08/2024: Let me start by saying that I never leave negative reviews, I prefer to avoid returning and that's it, but this time I really feel cheated. There were four of us, they made us sit at a table that wasn't set with three chairs, no waiter made any effort to bring us another one, if it weren't for a table next to us that was kindly given it, we would certainly still be standing . We waited 15 minutes (the place was practically empty) to have a table set, another 15 to have the menu and another 15 to order. All this while in the room next to the waiters and owners they danced and joked with very loud music. Average low food, I won't add anything else. As is now customary in Puglia, the account is exaggerated! The only positive note was a waiter named Cissè who at least tried to put us at ease. We wanted to spend a quiet evening without too many pretensions and I would add that we are people who appreciate and respect people who work. But this disregard of the customer (who, I remind you, pays) is truly unacceptable. Change your attitude, catering is not a game. Not recommended.
