03/04/2024: Nice atmosphere, too bad it's a little difficult to find parking! It was easy to find a place for two people even though we hadn't booked. The pizza is particular, low but really tasty and there is a wide choice of many flavors and variations. Good service, everyone very friendly. Next time I will try the cuisine which also seemed interesting to me. The desserts are also very good. Highly recommended

26/03/2024: Found by chance on a gloomy day, the staff welcomed us and accompanied us through a tasting of typical local products. Quality raw materials mixed in a delicious way. Quality service
01/03/2024: A passing lunch, with the desire for Abruzzo cuisine and intense flavours.
Instead we found ourselves with a menu with "Milanese" vocabulary and prices, which between Bronte pistachios, lemon reductions, and rosemary focaccia at 6.50 immediately made us understand that we were not in the right place.
We tried to choose typical things, like cheese and egg balls and a little guitar, but neither of the two things thrilled us.
And in any case, €60 for 4 balls, a focaccia and two small portions of spaghetti alla guitar, without wine, side dishes and desserts is truly excessive.
It would be in a beautiful historic center or hamlet where you can walk, with that range of dishes, let alone in a place like this.
Not a place I would recommend.

24/03/2024: If you are looking for a place to enjoy genuine food, you are in the right place. Local with parking nearby and easy access without architectural barriers. We chose a bruschetta to satisfy our hunger and focused on the amazing first courses. Abundant portions, strictly handmade pasta and with superlative seasoning. A steak absolutely cannot be missed as well as the side dish (sautéed broccoli) and the divine dessert (tiramisu).

13/01/2024: A parte il fatto che in questo periodo è l'unico aperto a Scanno dopo le 21.30... cibo genuino e casareccio. Gusto senza pesantezza di spezie. Ottimi cinghiale, spuntature, salsicce e super zuppa con i ceci. Finalmente qualcuno che fa bene il tiramisù con il mascarpone. Andate subito ad assaggiare l'olio novello sul pane, una vera delizia. Prezzi assolutamente nella norma e gentilezza e cura garantita. Continuate così per favore!

buonissimo il vino della casa (montepulciano a 5 €uro mezzo litro).
Una nota di merito per averci accettato senza prenotazione il 30 dicembre quando altri posti erano tutti pieni...

17/02/2024: The food is undoubtedly good, even if I was expecting something more perhaps, for example with regards to my first course. However, the first courses were a little too small, especially some portions, not mine so much, and this is never a pleasure, on the contrary. Staff certainly not very friendly and helpful, especially the foreign girl; a little salty in some dishes.
PS the polenta is very good

17/03/2024: Location where as soon as you arrive you think time has stopped, welcoming and serene.
For the amount paid per person (€40), small and soulless portions, for example an appetizer with only a thin slice of cured meat, a small square of non-fresh omelette, a slice of potato, a small pancake and a dessert-like basket with truffle cream (and I'm not exaggerating... I wouldn't even have let a dish like this come out of the kitchen), but the stew and legume soup are good. the first courses are limited as if they were drawn not from bronze... but from gold... and nothing special in terms of taste (even the limited condiments). The mixed grill savored as if we were in wartime. Arrosticini undercooked and nothing exceptional. I wouldn't recommend it to a friend, shame!

25/02/2024: We stayed at Fuoco 26 for a family party with 10 people. Excellent food for those who love quality and well-presented local cuisine, generous quantities. The service is professional, friendly and attentive. Country chic place, wonderful view of the greenery and the sea, the silence is very appreciable. 5 stars deserved with a note: it was difficult to find this restaurant because GOOGLE TAKES YOU OFF THE ROAD, CHECK THE ROAD IN ADVANCE with another navigator.

I didn't try the meat this time but there is a grill that reveals high standards and the dishes we saw pass by... invite us to return.

02/04/2024: Nice place, there is also an internal garden, a characteristic place with its own identity; The waiters were all kind and professional and I would say the food was more than good from the starter to the main course, we skipped the first courses and the desserts so we will definitely be back to try those too, good quality-price

22/09/2023: Ormai tappa fissa annuale per mangiare arrosticini di ottima qualità, al giusto prezzo su un panorama mozzafiato.
Sono più di 6 anni che annualmente frequento questo ristorante tipico abruzzese, con vista panoramica sul mare con acceso diretto al centro storico.
Il menù è semplice e tipico, non si ha una vasta scelta sulle pietanze ( cosa che io approvo, poche ma buone) partendo da un antipasto per 2 da 15, abbondante che comprende salumi, formaggio fritto, frittellette e una bruschetta. Poi si va all arrosticini sia di carne che di fegato, contorni vari e classici, dolci e amari il tutto accompagnato da vino o sfuso o in bottiglia che mantiene i giusti prezzi rispetto alle cantine fornitrici.
Gli arrosticini sono fatti a mano e rimangono saporiti e teneri, il formaggio fritto è eccezionale.
Eravamo 11 persone e abbiamo optato per bruschette come antipasto, 60 arrosticini di carne, 20 di fegato, contorni, una bottiglia di vino, 8 bottiglie di acqua, caffè e dolci il tutto per 22 euro a testa, più che onesto devo dire per i tempi che corrono. Un 10 pieno al personale gentile e simpaticissimo, che mette subito a proprio agio i clienti, proponendo le giuste quantità sulle porzioni.
In conclusione, una tappa obbligatoria per gustare un ottimo arrosticino e godere della bellezza di Tortoreto.

22/12/2023: Anche se sul cibo non possiamo dire nulla non torneremo più sicuramente in quanto arrivati alle 19.30 ci hanno fatto accomodare al tavolo portato da bere dopo di che spariti fino le 20.05 dove finalmente ci hanno preso l’ordine le prime portate di antipasti sono arrivate alle 20.40 dopo di che alle 21.20 ci hanno portato delle olive ascolane e cremini… dalle 19.30 alle 21.20 per mangiare solo mezzo antipasto é assurdo così abbiamo pagato quello che avevamo consumato e siamo andati via.
