11/09/2025: Just moved in, so I had to try it. An intimate and private place with limited seating. So if you're looking for a place to eat Asian food and avoid the crowds, this is the restaurant for you!! The gentleman in the kitchen is truly skilled at cooking; you can see he's passionate about it, and above all, he doesn't let you go hungry (the portions are very generous). Everything is made fresh. The sushi and sashimi are made by the lady at the counter in plain sight, with gloves and cleanliness. They're a bit reserved, but they're very presentable. They cook and serve, which is very impressive, considering the fast service and especially having to deal with takeout orders at the same time, because they do that too. The menu is very extensive, offering an all-you-can-eat option. Very reasonable prices! What can I say? I had a great time. I'll definitely be back!! As Borghese would say... 10/10

09/12/2025: I've known Lu for many years, I feel like I'm at home, we often come back very willingly, I recommend the spring rolls and vegetarian ravioli which are homemade and really tasty, very good alternatives for vegetarians and vegans, the best Chinese/Japanese restaurant in Asti! Open since 1994! 💯

08/12/2025: Update December 2025: Always excellent, with an unexpectedly homey atmosphere, pleasant and consistently high quality. Excellent food and a welcoming, clean place. The owner is also very friendly, which doesn't hurt. The menu is extensive, including Italian dishes, always well-cooked. The shrimp are delicious no matter how you prepare them.

08/03/2026: Exactly what's wrong with those who give 5 stars to the food? Have they ever eaten Jappu? Terrible service, they kept bringing the exact opposite of what was ordered. We arrived at 12:15 and left at 1:30, eating two dishes each. After numerous reminders, given their indifference, we left. And don't tell me it's justified by the price, because you'd be pathetic. I don't recommend it.

15/02/2026: Terrible experience, inedible ravioli, slow and disorganized service, and nonexistent quality. Furthermore, after eating, both I and others in the restaurant developed sore throats/coughs and difficulty breathing (it all went away within an hour). I had to spend half an hour in the bathroom coughing and recovering, thinking I'd choked. Then a girl I didn't know came in with the same problem. When I returned to the dining room, I noticed that half the people in the restaurant were coughing (including my friends). We didn't touch any more food and left.

06/10/2025: Very poor service; there was only one woman manning the cash register and taking orders, and one girl waiting tables, meaning there was a wait for everything. The girl ran like a ninja from table to table; she was very good, but she definitely needs more time to serve, especially at busy times. The place is very bland, basically a two-level, unfurnished room. The food is just below average; it wasn't bad, but many items arrived cold and quite bland. The selection of dishes is typical of Chinese restaurants from twenty years ago. On a positive note, the price is low.

03/01/2026: I ordered through Just Eat and delivery was super fast. I contacted the restaurant to make some changes to the dishes and to add an entree to my order: they were extremely helpful and kind! Excellent service, I will definitely order from them again. Highly recommended!

15/03/2026: The food and service are excellent, the dishes are plentiful and very tasty! I had the udon noodles with chicken and the shrimp curry! It's just a shame the place wasn't warm... but you get warm by eating!

12/12/2025: DO NOT GO to the new YING RESTAURANT at 32 Via Beaumont! We went there last night and got food poisoning. When we arrived, the place was completely empty and we were the only customers. We ordered sea bass ravioli, ice flower ravioli, seafood soy noodles, and spicy chicken. The quality of the food was poor. It all seemed frozen and reheated. The price-quality ratio is shameful. I have no qualms about paying what I eat, but not €160 for two for reheated food. My husband and I felt sick all day, as if we had mild food poisoning. We went to this restaurant attracted by the fact that it was the same type and quality as chen lon, where we've always eaten excellently. Nothing to compare to this. Terrible food, unreasonable price for the quality, and watch your stomach and intestines... that night and the next day. Not recommended!

01/02/2026: This is my favorite Chinese-Japanese restaurant in Vercelli and the surrounding area. Prices are still reasonable, and the atmosphere is small but welcoming. Lots of choice, and...nothing, I just love it!

21/03/2026: We often order takeout from the auction, where we usually order pizza. It's good and reasonable for the price. The Chinese dishes ordered on-site are very good and tasty, with set menus that are consistent and proportionate to the portions served.

10/03/2026: Reluctantly, even though it's not my style, I have to leave a bad review. I showed up at 2:35 PM asking if I could stay for lunch and was told yes, despite being informed they were closing soon. They handed me a Cantonese rice dish of terrible quality, half of it cold and burnt, which I didn't finish. As soon as I put my fork down, a waitress asked me to leave because they were closing. Furthermore, the interior was really poorly maintained, dirty, and with very dated decor. A terrible experience, I won't be returning.
