15/07/2026: I have a feeling this review will be lost among the many glowing ones that seem to be mushrooming around this restaurant (and, if you're curious, I'd encourage you to do a little due diligence on some of the reviews and articles written about it). So perhaps this is a bit of a pointless exercise, but I still feel I have to write it. Having lived in Asia for more than 20 years, I have been longing for genuinely authentic Chinese food. I came across this place online and decided to give it a try. Unfortunately, in my experience, this ranks among the below-average Chinese restaurants in Turin. From the excessively long waiting times to food that was clearly not freshly prepared, from dishes lacking any authentic flavour to a bill more befitting a Michelin-starred restaurant, it was disappointing from start to finish.Chances are this review will end up buried at the bottom of the page, but if it helps even one person make a more informed choice, then I've done my bit.

08/05/2026: Authentic Chinese restaurant where dumplings and lamien (hand-rolled, egg-free Chinese noodles) are prepared by hand, in full view, both dry and in excellent broth. The service is fast and friendly, and the atmosphere is spotless. Vegetarians and vegans are welcome. Payment is available via POS and Satispay.

04/05/2026: The food was average... I couldn't find that extra touch compared to other similar restaurants of the same genre.

26/06/2026: A home delivery experience, terrible for the quality of the food. The service was kind and fast, but the sweet and sour prawns were swimming in a sauce full of oil, and despite a few pieces of tomato, dried pineapple, and pepper, they had no hint of a sweet and sour aroma or flavor. Furthermore, they lost the flour they were breaded in and then dipped in the sauce, to the point that they fell apart when picked up with chopsticks. The rice noodles with prawns and vegetables were, if possible, even worse. The vegetables were nonexistent, I found a piece of egg by chance, the rice noodles were overcooked, soft, soaked in hot water, and tasteless, and above all, the prawns were old! I've been eating Chinese food for 50 years before I did in Italy, in London. I'm very familiar with the many different origins of Chinese cuisine, but this one doesn't recall any of them. We only ate the white rice with the sweet and sour sauce and threw away everything else, including the complimentary Drago clouds, because they made them with old oil, which also tasted like many other fried foods. Frankly, at this point, I wonder if the other reviews are true and genuine, and if a mishap like this has happened to us alone?!! I really don't think so. Reviews are obtained differently, and I'm very sorry. I really wanted to write words full of satisfaction, but instead I'm here hoping we don't feel ill tonight. For me, it's truly awful, and I certainly don't recommend it!

09/07/2026: I was there last night and it was a lovely surprise. The place is very cute and the food is really good, but what I appreciated most was the welcome: the staff is super friendly and the service was really fast, despite it being quite busy. One particular feature that intrigued me (and which you don't often see in a restaurant) is the presence of a dedicated tobacco area inside. Overall, a great evening, I'll definitely be back. Oh, I forgot! All-you-can-eat menu! Recommended if you're in the Corso Monte Cucco area!

22/05/2026: Hi, I'm a sushi lover. I've tried many restaurants... perhaps the flashier ones, but I had a great time here. The place is very clean and the staff are very friendly. Not to mention the food, which is very good... I recommend trying it to believe it. Greetings from Bruno 👍

20/04/2026: The sushi and fried dishes were excellent. The service was attentive and friendly. For €21.90 you get the entire menu (except drinks and desserts). I'll be back!

10/07/2026: I'm not convinced. Definitely a historic Chinese restaurant... decor as it was originally created, I think several years ago... which I didn't mind. About the food... mmmm An endless menu of dishes. Prices are affordable but still in line with the quality offered, so average... tending towards low. Grilled salmon that didn't have bones, but scabbards. A classic frozen steak... but that's fair enough. When they asked me if everything was okay, I was honest. Salmon with all those huge bones was hard to eat, and if my little daughter had ordered it, I would have had it taken away. The cashier's response was incredible: "But salmon has bones, why does a restaurant have to remove them?" "I just replied... well, big ones, yes, if they're 4 cm, but it's not a problem, that's fine." But wasn't that historic? So after years of running a restaurant, you ask a customer a similar question? Not a 2 cent discount, but it doesn't matter, even if half a salmon was left for the diner to eat. The rest of the standard dishes, neither good nor bad, except for a hint of spicy ginger, which I personally don't like (I would have liked to have known this beforehand). The atmosphere is warm. Perhaps a little too much, with the air conditioning on but weak (today it was 34 degrees outside at 9 pm, I would have liked to dine in a cool place, but the system must be very old, and here too...what can you do?). If I happen upon it and I'm really hungry, I'll stop for a belly-saving dish. But I wouldn't go back on purpose.

30/06/2026: We always go with a friend. The owner hasn't let us choose our seats several times, and we have to insist. I don't like that, and it's rude. A friend of mine wanted to make a reservation for February 14th to celebrate with friends. There were only two of us, and the owner told her she couldn't make a reservation and to come at 7:00 PM, not 8:00 PM like we wanted. The owner even decides what time you eat 😏 that seems excessive. We've been customers for years. With this in mind, we decided to go to Gustus, for pizza and kindness. Despite it being a small place, and with us being over 60, we want to celebrate. And we'll do it in an environment where kindness is always present. By the way, for those who come to this restaurant for the first time, if you want soy sauce or breadsticks, ask out loud because they never bring anything, and if you want to try really good Chinese food. Only here on Via Urbano Ratazzi, in front of the restaurant where there's a red cow outside the door. It's a shame, but I don't think I'll be going again. I'm fed up. 02/07/2026: Personally, I don't think I'll go there again. I asked for the à la carte menu, but I couldn't because the others were all-you-can-eat. I'll let it pass. Then I clicked on gluten among the allergens, and the tablet showed me the dishes with and without allergens. It's a shame that the allergen-free ones had sauces and tempura. When I pointed this out to the staff, I was treated rudely, and the girl wanted to be right and snorted. In short, personal taste is one thing, but when it comes to whether or not you feel sick, maybe you shouldn't take things lightly. Let's hope I don't feel sick. Not recommended.

07/05/2026: A historic restaurant in Cuneo, the food is always excellent. It could use a bit of a makeover and a greater focus on Chinese cuisine, which is better than Japanese.

05/03/2026: Be careful with fried foods. I eat everything and I'm fine, but when it keeps coming back, it's not good. Avoid fried foods; everything is absolutely delicious.

08/06/2026: Tried it during a business trip to Pinerolo. A very classic Chinese restaurant, with average food quality and a decent selection of dishes. Strengths: Extremely friendly staff and very fast service.

17/05/2026: Delicious, affordable, huge plates, and 100% traditional! We spent €25 for two people, including four dishes, drinks, and service.

04/05/2026: The sushi is 99% rice and is all mushy, the fish is flavorless, the fried bread is watery, and everything fried is full of oil. The staff barely cracks a smile.

16/04/2026: The food selection is extensive, the service is attentive, and the environment is comfortable. I will definitely go again! My favorite is the Chinese beer they offer. (Personal taste, may vary)
