This restaurant is a true oasis of tranquility and relaxation: an enchanting setting, meticulously maintained, full of plants, and accompanied by soothing background music that makes the experience even more enjoyable. Centrally located, near the Ostia Lido, it still manages to convey a pleasant sense of peace. The food is excellent: ranging from traditional Chinese cuisine to interesting Thai and Japanese fusion influences, all prepared with care and quality. It's one of those places that stays in your heart, where you gladly return for the family atmosphere and the sense of welcome you immediately sense. 🌺 🌴 🤩

13/04/2026: Tasty, traditional Chinese food, they also served some Thai dishes and plenty of vegan options. Only got take away, but the restaurant seemed comfortable and spacious. Food was very cheap and delicious!

20/03/2026: I've been going to this restaurant for many years now. Having tried many, I can say Jin Hao is my favorite. The food is delicious and varied (never had any problems), the service is excellent and the staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is welcoming. I highly recommend it.

11/04/2026: When I asked for a receipt, the owner said they didn't have any. After calculating the price, it didn't add up, and a quick online search revealed there was a seating fee??? This wasn't mentioned beforehand and wasn't on the menu, so it's hard to give a good review. But the main issue was the very average taste; the ingredients weren't fresh. I ordered Mapo Tofu, and some of the tofu had a sour taste, while others didn't, and the pork had a strong porky smell. Maybe it's because of its good location? The portion sizes were generally small, so there's a reason for the low rating. The price-performance ratio is poor; a disappointing experience... 😅

06/03/2026: They served us dishes with ingredients completely different from those listed on the menu: for example, an onigiri, which was supposed to have salmon and avocado, contained cooked tuna mixed with the salmon, but the avocado was missing. The spring rolls had meat in them, which, frankly, had never happened to me. To conclude, they served us a tuna tataki with a nauseating smell, so bad that they couldn't touch any more food. Once we politely and kindly, almost apologetically, pointed out that we had regretfully left some food behind, they went to the table to check how much food we had left without asking why, but instead making us weigh it. When we explained why we had left that food, there was not even a hint of an apology. The final treatment we received compels me to write this review, but I can assure you that I don't recommend the food either...

03/01/2026: Overall, the food was good, with large portions. Sometimes too much, like a lot of spaghetti with little sauce. The only downside was the shrimp, which were all served with their tails and their (waste) insides in the spaghetti and even in the ravioli, the mixed ones with meat.

01/12/2025: The food was quite good, the place was exceptionally clean. But after the first courses were served fairly quickly, a 20-minute wait for three small dishes, and another half an hour for other items, they completely put us off, and we left, still hungry. And there were very few people there. €6 for a Coke, €3 for a water. €29.90 per person for the all-you-can-eat menu. Good, but I won't be returning.

30/11/2025: I dont know how these reviews could be written...Shun Chang is the ONLY Chinese I order from this area... its fresh.. big portions and does not bloat my stomach like others near by. I have yet to go eat thete but everytime I order it for delivery.. they are precise, clean and prepare the meals and whole package very presentable. Thank you 🙏🏼 #1
