09/10/2025: DAO is a restaurant that clearly strives for elegance and refinement, both in its ambiance and in the presentation of its dishes. The quality of the ingredients is good, and the plating is meticulously crafted. However, the overall experience felt a bit forced. The dishes didn't arrive in the requested order, and the staff's excessive attention made it difficult to enjoy the meal in peace: you barely had time to finish a bite before someone was ready to clear your plate. Furthermore, in less than two minutes, three different people asked us if we'd like dessert—an attentiveness that went from thoughtful to almost intrusive. Overall, a place with potential and a lovely atmosphere, but one that would greatly benefit from more relaxed and harmonious service. Sometimes, true elegance lies in giving customers the right amount of space. 🍽️

28/09/2025: A pleasant discovery! In the heart of the Italia neighborhood, we stumbled upon this Chinese restaurant by chance. It offers excellent service at prices consistent with both the area and the restaurant. Everything is very well-kept and clean! The steamed fish dumplings are delicious; I recommend them!

31/12/2025: I give this Chinese restaurant five stars because its cuisine is completely different from other restaurants. Fresh ingredients, original Chinese dishes with influences from various regions of China. Excellent wine list. The average price is around €30-35 per person, but it's also highlighted by the red prawn. The Beijing-born owner has a deep knowledge of the Italian region, its cuisine, and its wines, and entertains guests by going around the tables and explaining the dishes.

06/01/2026: I never write reviews, but this time I'm tired of being ripped off yet again. I thought I was having a Chinese lunch, not the usual sushi. As soon as I walked in, there was an unpleasant smell of spoiled food. Once I sat down at the table, I noticed a cold, damp atmosphere because, obviously, to save money, there was no heating or hot air conditioning. It's January. The food was brought in; the appetizers seemed reheated from the day before, the main courses were the same. The only decent thing was the sweet and sour soup. My husband ordered pork with vegetables, which was inedible, all mushy and tasteless. I wanted to say I really like Chinese food, but this place is a disgrace. I forgot to mention the bathroom; it smells of dirt and is incredibly damp. I wonder, where is the hygiene office?

03/11/2025: After years of coming here to eat, I can confirm that it's a go-to place for me and my family. The staff is ALWAYS welcoming, helpful, and above all, smiling. I've never had any problems with the food, and since they've changed the menu, it's even better: a wide selection of dishes and excellent quality. The service has also always been generally fast. The place looks great, especially after the renovations. And the same goes for the owners, always friendly and with a big smile on their faces. What can I say? Among the various similar places in the area, we'll definitely continue to choose you 🙏🏼☺️

17/10/2025: I returned to Sushi Fiore (now called RAN) after three years and I can say it's completely changed, and for the better! The food quality has significantly improved, and they now offer dishes you don't usually find at an AYCE restaurant, like roast duck, orange duck, or crispy rice with vegetables—all truly delicious!

The food is very good and the atmosphere is pleasant, but the decor after the renovation, in my opinion, doesn't match the food served. I also suggest turning up the air conditioning as it was simply too hot.

08/09/2025: Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I hadn't been there for a year, and in the meantime, they'd been renovating the place. It turned out pretty well, too. But they forgot about the acoustics. It's indescribably noisy, and it's hard to stay quiet. Meanwhile, I have to say that the quality of the food has gone downhill. The dishes are too Westernized, with little spice and flavor. A bit disappointing.
