07/06/2025: I have been going to Sushi 1688 for years and I can say, without exaggeration, that it is one of the best all you can eat in Emilia, especially for the quality of the fish. The raw salmon is always very fresh, soft and tasty, really a cut above the average, especially considering that we are talking about an inexpensive place. Another strong point is the perfect balance of flavors: never flat and never excessive. I really appreciate the moderate use of rice - a rare thing in AYCE - and the care with which the rolls are prepared, often enriched with toasted sesame seeds that add a crunchy and aromatic note. The salads and hot dishes are also excellent. The service is always quick and, even when some dishes do not arrive with Swiss precision, the staff is kind, helpful and ready to make up for it with a smile. The location does not focus on the wow effect, but it is bright, clean and with comfortable seats. The aquarium adds a relaxing touch and the bathrooms – often neglected elsewhere – here are always impeccable: spacious and very clean. Sushi 1688 is the right place for those looking for substance and quality, without getting lost in the “Instagram” frills. You come here to eat well, and you eat really well. In at least fifty visits, never a problem: neither stomach nor anything else. Highly recommended for those who want to enjoy excellent sushi, in a simple but welcoming environment, with a quality-price ratio that few can offer.

The convenience of ordering with the tablet, avoids driving the waiters crazy and you order when you want everything comfortably without the continuous search for waiters ... very nice place, large clean and quiet ... average prices! I highly recommend it

18/08/2025: Ordered takeout: never again. The meat ravioli didn't appear to be fresh, the dough was dry. The rice dumplings were good, except they weren't seasoned enough. The sushi box was terrible, sorry: it arrived hot (due to the other dishes ordered), with the salmon and the raw fish almost completely cooked. Nigiri with way too much rice.

In consideration of the above, "La Trabocca" is a recommendable choice for those who wish to enjoy high-quality cuisine in an elegant and well-managed context.

17/06/2025: Very nice restaurant near the Mirandola shopping center. Clean and well-kept environment, with separate seating and respectful distance between tables. A well-stocked menu, not so much choice but ultimately very good. The restrooms pleasantly surprised me, clean, chic with soft lighting. Service sometimes fast, sometimes slow, especially regarding the preparation of sushi, absolutely good, but we ended up waiting even tens of minutes (and it was lunch on a Monday). Overall a good stop for those who want to eat well in a comfy environment. Welcome 10+ from the owner and the staff, and bill more than appreciated at the end of a relaxing lunch break.

21/08/2025: I ordered an onigiri and a spicy chicken at 6.35pm. I arrived at 7pm and there were 3 customers. At 7.40pm they still weren't ready. I cancelled the order and left. What can I say? I'm really shocked by the disorganization. It's never happened to me before.

15/08/2025: Truly beautiful renovated place, very attentive staff, friendly owner as always. The tablet idea with orders every 10-15 minutes is great, with the option to order via QR code. The quality of the food is always spectacular, carefully prepared, well presented, with many new additions including the tacos to try. Top!!

24/08/2025: I ordered takeout with a good discount (thanks). Sushi, rice, and soy noodles were good. Shrimp - not cleaned. Full of 💩 - sorry. You have to clean it up!! Fried food - good at the restaurant - not for takeout. And do you offer takeout? Cash only. No POS - not even broken. Not a good impression. I'd happily order again - but without the fried food and shrimp.

11/07/2025: The food/ Sushi getting less and less and not good same as before, will not come back again.

10/07/2025: It's now my go-to place. The waiters are always so kind and helpful, they're fast, and they have a wide variety of food. And above all, it's one of the few sushi restaurants that, for me, who always has a sour taste after eating, I can always digest easily. What can I say? They never make a mistake.

01/07/2025: I've been going there for 30 years. From Rosa to her heirs, everything is always very good, I go back every year, but today July 1st. The chicken was old and hard, the soy spaghetti too and the Cantonese rice was not good. How SAD. ANOTHER PLACE THAT LOSES ITS PRIMACY FOR MEDIOCRITY.
