08/06/2025: Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing in several ways. The service was slow and disorganized: we had to wait a long time both to order and to receive the dishes, even though the place was not particularly crowded. Some dishes arrived cold, others were forgotten altogether, forcing us to repeatedly ask the staff, who seemed inattentive and unhelpful. I would not recommend it, at least based on my experience.

18/04/2025: As far as I'm concerned, every time I've been I've had a good time. The choice of food is to your own taste. But I always ate very well.

06/07/2025: Excellent Chinese and Thai restaurant. I recommend, new dishes to try, home deliveries I recommend, always open, they accept tables for groups, you can organize parties there obviously you have to organize yourself

04/07/2025: Average sushi, fast service but watch out for flies We came on Sunday evening to this all you can eat: the place was almost empty, so the service was fast and precise. The sushi was good, average, perfect if you don't have too many expectations. The only downside: some annoying flies in the room that ruined the atmosphere a bit. For the rest, an overall positive experience.

25/05/2025: The beautiful black fake marble ceiling reflects, in contrast to a sunny spring day, the dull and dull faces of dozens of waiting customers. The food, although pleasant in absolute terms, is imbued with this vague atmosphere of malaise on the palate. And the saltiness of the soy sauce is barely enough to awaken dull taste buds, almost mocked by the irregular intervals in which the sushi arrives at the tables. The waiter seems almost drowning in the apparent confusion of the room (or perhaps, just of his head), and wanders back and forth, stumbles, turns toward the kitchen and then retraces his steps - and if you are lucky, he will have a plate in his hands. But if you are even luckier, immensely lucky, he will head as if through a labyrinth toward you, toward your table, and will serve you what you ordered 45 minutes earlier... Only to start the vicious circle of your wait all over again. And then, at a certain point in the day, the desperate hope that the remaining dishes will actually be served is replaced by the deep, dull certainty that nothing more will come. The only thing I feel like praising is the determination of the customers, who without any recalcitrance remain at the tables waiting, their eyes half-closed, their mouths contracted, sadly observing the tangled movement behind the counter, towards the kitchen, inside their hearts.

08/09/2025: We did not get to eat here, based on the restaurant ordering practice. They REQUIRE you to scan into THEIR Wi-Fi, scan & order on their restaurant site, and pay all through their Wi-Fi! We tried to order just using our own cellular service, but it did not open. We felt this allowed for too much invasion of privacy. Left without eating!

01/09/2025: A truly excellent AYCE restaurant. The dishes are carefully prepared, some of them innovative. Excellent pairings, and the service is impeccable and attentive. Excellent wine selection at reasonable prices. Lunch is cheaper than its competitors. The owner is friendly and helpful. I'll be back.

13/06/2025: We arrived at Maki Maki at 11:30 PM, convinced we were going to have a great night, but it was a real disaster. After half an hour of being inside, no one had even bothered to bring us drinks. The guest of the evening arrived after 2 AM, an endless wait without any explanation or respect for those who had been there for hours. The icing on the cake? When I dared to complain — quite legitimately — about the fact that it was already 2:15 AM and still no one had shown up, a gentleman (I don't know what role he had, but he was behind the console) thought it best to answer me... by pushing me. A total lack of respect, professionalism and safety. Not only did they not even let us leave in the meantime, but the treatment was truly unacceptable. Overrated place, terrible organization and aggressive staff. I will never return and I advise anyone not to set foot there.

08/06/2025: We were a group of eight guys on a mission to throw a bachelor party to remember. Despite numerous warnings from locals — who recommended more elegant and relaxed environments in the Viareggio dock — we decided to challenge fate and cross the threshold of the infamous Maki Maki. As soon as we entered, we found ourselves catapulted into what seemed like a summer camp for teenagers: the average age at first glance lower than the right to vote in Italy. The service was a bit poor. The table was dirty when we arrived and the waiters were practically absent. And yet, between a kid looking for cigarettes and a few shaky drinks, the evening began to pick up pace. Good commercial music, surprisingly engaging entertainment girls, and the price was all in all fair for a nightclub in this area. A positive note to the very kind guy who served us a hookah at the table with a smile on his lips, saving the honor of the service. In short, Maki Maki is an experience that is somewhere between memories of teenage vacations and unexpected fun. Not for everyone, but if you're looking for music and a touch of the absurd, with the right mix of tequila shots, you might even come away satisfied.

27/08/2025: A terrible and very uncomfortable experience. When we walked in, no one even said hello. The welcome was rude and cold. The waitress seemed uninterested, even though the restaurant was empty and had just opened for dinner. There were two of us; one of us wanted all-you-can-eat, and the other only three dishes—an appetizer, a first course, and a second course. The waitress awkwardly and uninterestedly replied that either everyone at a table wanted all-you-can-eat or no one at all. And in the end, after some unclear and vague explanations, we decided to leave. I'm still angry and outraged.

01/08/2025: Horrible, I took 2 portions of ravioli, which are usually eaten with soy sauce, and they replied that the sauce is paid for, then the famous "all you can eat" and limited to one portion per person of tartar...... For me it should be eliminated from catering.

08/06/2025: Terrible Experience, Stay Away!!!! We came for the all-you-can-eat deal and were told everything on the menu was included. Turns out that was a lie. The waitress had a nasty attitude from the beginning. She brought our sushi out like she didn’t care at all – it was falling apart, badly made, no effort whatsoever. When we tried to order the more expensive items from the menu, they suddenly “didn’t have them” anymore — yeah, right. Clearly just didn’t want to serve them because they were pricey. Total scammy behavior. Then when we got the bill, they added the dessert as an extra charge. We said it should be included, and instead of handling it calmly, they started yelling at us. Literally raising their voices and being super aggressive, like we were trying to scam them or something. Totally unprofessional and disrespectful. The whole vibe was like they didn’t want us there. Rude faces, bad service, and yelling at customers? No thanks. Food was mid at best. Not worth the money or the stress.

20/04/2025: The breakfast tofu is made from pickled mustard, the scallion pancakes are oily, the xiaolongbao is soft and chewy, but the filling is relatively small, and the tea eggs are also good.
