30/11/2025: I dont know how these reviews could be written...Shun Chang is the ONLY Chinese I order from this area... its fresh.. big portions and does not bloat my stomach like others near by. I have yet to go eat thete but everytime I order it for delivery.. they are precise, clean and prepare the meals and whole package very presentable. Thank you 🙏🏼 #1

01/01/2026: Excellent food, a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, and a tranquil atmosphere. Comfortable tables with just the right amount of space. I gave the service 4 stars, not because it's lacking, but because it can be improved. I would recommend the QR code menu, which is much easier to use and more intuitive for those, like me, who aren't familiar with the dishes.

21/04/2026: I don't know if it was the wrong night, but we were placed in an attic room above the restaurant, which was so low that the reverberation from the people next to us made it impossible to talk, so we all screamed like we were going crazy. So the acoustics definitely need to be improved. The dishes arrived separately, so we didn't eat together, and the quality was questionable. Only the main courses were good, in my opinion. It's a shame because the other times we've eaten in the room downstairs, we've eaten quite well.

22/03/2026: We chose this restaurant for a family celebration, more than 20 people. Despite our delay, the service was impeccable, fast, and courteous, and the food was high-quality and plentiful. Follow the staff's advice to avoid overdoing it. The location is right next to the lake. Reservations are essential. Highly recommended!

30/01/2026: I often order takeout from them. The quality is definitely above average for takeout or AYCE sushi. The rice is very nice, always soft and slightly warm. The ravioli are excellent, both in terms of dough and filling (I especially enjoyed the vegetable ones). The fish is always fresh. The only downside: perhaps the tempura and shrimp sticks are a bit overpriced. Otherwise, everything is good, and they're very kind and helpful.

27/02/2026: Unfortunately, our experience was not positive. After dining there, we suffered severe gastrointestinal discomfort during the night. We can't be absolutely certain of the cause, but the coincidence with the dinner we'd eaten a few hours earlier was clear. The fried food had a very heavy taste, as if the oil wasn't fresh, and this made the dishes difficult to digest. Furthermore, we left the restaurant with a strong smell of fried food, a sign of inadequate ventilation. When it comes to dining, quality and attention to detail should be paramount. In this case, unfortunately, that wasn't our perception.

21/02/2026: The place is beautiful. It really feels like a Chinese restaurant. In the entrance hall, you're greeted by some traditional statues; upon entering, you'll notice splendid wooden bas-reliefs lining the walls, and there are even two aquariums. The menu is comprehensive and reasonably priced. I had mixed ravioli, stir-fried spaghetti, and shrimp; everything was quite good, though not exceptional. It's best to avoid the house sparkling white wine.

01/04/2026: Good morning. I'd say it can be summed up in a single sentence: neither good nor bad. There's plenty of room; you have to be lucky to find a parking spot, as it's on a busy thoroughfare with parking spaces occupied by vehicles belonging to neighboring buildings. The food is good, not exceptional, and the service is quick but not overwhelming. In short, if you're looking to indulge in a Chinese meal, it's a good choice.

23/02/2026: The owner is friendly. Not all the dishes are perfectly executed; I don't recommend the sweet and sour ones. The first courses, however, are good, with various rice dishes, spaghetti, and gnocchi. The rolls and ravioli are fine. Reasonable prices. The atmosphere is nice, with a spartan-Chinese feel. The wait is short, and you always find a seat. If you don't want to spend a lot, go here and fill your stomach.

01/02/2026: Sushi Niwa is cheap, yes. But eating there is a real challenge. Asking for water and sauces became an impossible task: four requests, three different people, and only on the fourth time—probably out of exhaustion—did something arrive at the table. The service is incredibly slow, disorganized, with staff seemingly out of touch. Every request is forgotten, bounced, or ignored. You sit down to eat and end up waiting. And waiting. And waiting some more. If the low price is enough to justify such terrible service, then no. Cheap on paper, but the real cost is wasted time and frayed nerves. There are restaurants where you go to eat sushi, and then there's Sushi Niwa, where you participate in an endurance test. Never again.

19/02/2026: Decent food. We were there on Saturday. The place was packed, the staff and kitchen weren't up to the task. Dishes arrived after over an hour of waiting, customers left without paying because they weren't served anything. Not even a small discount for the inconvenience. AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE TAKEN. In response to the following: I paid the bill correctly, and I have the receipt and proof of payment to prove it, which I'd be happy to show you if you deem appropriate. Anyway, having a full place, no matter the day, is every restaurateur's dream. Unfortunately, this is perhaps not your concern or your job. It would have been enough to admit a poor service (which can happen) rather than assume I didn't pay. Anyway, not only did one table leave without paying, but you weren't paying attention there either. How do I know? Because there were three tables next to mine. Best regards. Never again.

02/03/2026: The atmosphere was a bit chaotic, not particularly clean, and the food quality was poor. The seafood spaghetti had a strong burnt taste, the shrimp, mushrooms, and bamboo shoots were very salty, and the bamboo shoots were tough and tough, making the dish inedible. The prawns and soy noodles were acceptable, but nothing more. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this restaurant.
