25/06/2026: This Chinese restaurant just outside the walls of Lucca offers plenty of seating inside and a small outdoor area. The menu features classic Chinese dishes, including delicious fried wontons, crispy roast duck, and a very flavorful tofu with mushrooms and bamboo shoots, complete with a tasty sauce. The spring rolls are a must, large and well-filled. I've had fried ice cream again after so many years, and it was delicious.

11/05/2026: The grilled chicken was boiled, not grilled, and had no seasoning.
The chicken with pineapple was also completely flavorless.
The rice with vegetables was edible.
The portions were small.
We don't recommend it.

20/03/2026: A wonderful Father's Day evening with a menu that was excellent, from the spring rolls to the dessert, everything was delicious, warm and crispy. Kudos to the owner's polite manners and the perfect service. The atmosphere is small but cozy and charming.
Fair prices.
We'll be back soon.

The staff is friendly.
But obviously the quality of the food isn't great when you have so many people.
Unfortunately, nothing we ate was noteworthy.
17/05/2026: Usually the food is quite good, today the dishes from the kitchen came out almost cold, the service was at a standstill, after 30 minutes I asked for a dish ordered from the kitchen and it arrived cold, I contested it and it arrived immediately hot, I didn't eat it because the dessert had already arrived.

20/07/2026: Very disappointed, this restaurant is no longer what it used to be... We stopped for lunch in that heat, the air conditioning was off. I understand that there were few people and they didn't want to spend money on the air conditioning, but at least let it be at the minimum... it was sweaty... the drinks were barely chilled, I had to ask for ice three times and he even told me how much ice... The stir-fried pasta with shrimp and the grilled spaghetti were the exact same thing, only brought in different containers, the grilled ones were not crispy at all and the grill was barely warm... The soy spaghetti was a little too dry and lacking in seasoning, the only good thing was the shrimp Shao Mai.

04/06/2026: My girlfriend has a nut allergy. They don't speak a word of English. And she started to feel a bit unwell. We left early. She still wanted us to pay for the remaining food, while we went to the hospital in a panic.
The food was fine. But they still didn't speak English.

24/06/2026: The food is neither good nor bad; the nigiri are a bit so-so, the pad thai is very good, the fish is adequate, and the food in general is good. The real problem is that the dinner menu has almost as much variety and content as the lunch menu.
Service... I've been here for an hour and twenty minutes and I've eaten SIX dishes... plus, the staff isn't very friendly, except for the tall Bengali guy. It's like a wedding reception with the place half empty.
Ambience: Nice inside, but the bathroom needs cleaning, and the exterior is quite run-down. An undeserved €30+ price tag, considering the slow service and limited raw fish selection.

16/06/2026: Excellent Japanese restaurant, ideal for both a romantic dinner or a stress-free family dinner. You're immediately welcomed by the unique atmosphere and friendly staff, but it's the food that truly leaves you satisfied. The menu is extensive: the two of us (and our appetites) haven't exhausted the new options in several months of frequenting. Kudos especially to the sweet and sour chicken (amazing), the grilled dumplings, the yakisoba, and the selection of futomaki. It's always a pleasure to return.

24/09/2025: I have eaten at this restaurant many times because I found myself in a welcoming place full of courtesy waiters and exceptional chefs, I will return and return because it is always a unique and engaging experience in tasting traditional cuisine.
13/09/2025: We tried the Korean-style grill and meat, and it was an excellent choice: everything was delicious, the staff was friendly, and everything arrived very quickly. Definitely worth a try!

25/03/2026: We visited Saien Restaurant and overall had a positive impression. However, not everything was perfect: many dishes on the lunch menu are unavailable and can only be ordered in the evening. Furthermore, several dishes are available in limited quantities, making the choice a bit more difficult.
However, the service is top-notch: the staff is attentive and friendly. The quality of the food is also good. Overall, it's a good restaurant and we'll definitely be back.

14/05/2026: There were bugs in the salmon, in the soy sauce, and there were large black dots in the fish. The salmon was much lighter in color than usual. I personally will never come back.
