03/07/2025: The weather was hot and the air conditioning in the restaurant was not cool at all. The door near our table was always open. We ordered 6 dishes and didn't eat more than two bites of each dish. This is the first time and the last time.

03/06/2025: I went to this "sushi" for lunch today with a friend, Martino. We were welcomed by an Italian boy and girl, not Japanese, as has always been the case in all the places of this kind we have been to. The restaurant is large, but we only noticed one occupied table. No other customers. And at 12:45 it is quite strange. We were invited to sit at a table near the windows, whose glass was dirty. There was no disposable placemat, but only a napkin, cutlery, a plate and a glass. The soy sauce was the one with the green cap that you buy at the supermarket. We noticed that our forks were dirty with food and my glass too. We therefore asked to change these things and the waitress gave us the cutlery from the free table next to ours, on which she put ours! Martino then went to the bathroom and the comment was not positive. When ordering, the girl, still non-Japanese, tells us that we can use the qcode or the paper menu to order, but that at 5every turn there was a limit of 4 courses per person. At this point my friend said: no look, let's go somewhere else. It really gave the sense of a dirty environment, not cared for and in general inclined to save on the quality of the table service and furnishings. But in the kitchen (which you couldn't see where it was) were at least the cooks Japanese?

02/05/2025: Ottimo ristorante, servizio eccellente pulito. Personale sono molto socievoli inoltre visto che sono andato la prima volta a mangiare cinese, loro mi hanno indirizzato cosa mangiare, era tutto buono.

10/05/2025: All you can eat lunch. Good food. Price too. Less service. Excessively limited raw food with the lunch formula. Furthermore, after consuming several courses, there were 5 pieces left in total in 3 different dishes (1/2 per dish), they demanded payment, and then let us go with a simple "reprimand". "You shouldn't order too much food." 5 pieces left of 3 different courses. Dishes found not pleasant but equally they did not want to listen to reason. One of the waitresses responded quite aggressively to the inconvenience of the 5 pieces, an uncomfortable experience.

16/05/2025: ⚠️HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. First of all, let's start with the compliments: a really nice environment. The interior was really nice so my expectations were sky high. The only delicious thing were the ravioli but you know how it is... How long does it take to defrost and fry two ravioli? Let's move on to the negative things. No tablet or paper on which you can write down the dishes you want but only waiters who pass by that you had to stop to get their attention. Sushi was pathetic to say the least for the flavors then it will be my thought, absolutely but comparing it to many other sushi places where I have been (of which I still have to put the reviews) this was absolutely the worst of the worst. Salmon nigiri flambé made with... Venus rice (?) huh? pan rabbits that seemed like monsters as well as the flavor so much so that we sent them back. Poor quality salmon. I was so disappointed by this experience that I had to do it again and went to Sakura in via Fiorentina, Legaccioni. When you go to the usual sushi place, it's not because it's "the best" but because you haven't tried better. I would be here to give you a list of sushi that is definitely more sushi than this one. Umi di Ponte a Ema, Ukiyo di Osmannoro, Miho also Osmannoro... Do me a favor... Tokio, absolutely out of context. PS. I would have published the review later but apparently, they don't believe I actually went there so, without further ado: ✨Here are the photos✨ (admire the one with the sauce especially.) PPS. Before making my friend pay, the boy/cook called another gentleman who looked at us confused and asked us: "did you pay?" I said: "I did, my friend didn't" and he said: "and how much do you have to pay?" I mean seriously? If you don't know, you who work there...

16/05/2025: I went with a friend of mine to this sushi to spend a nice day. The atmosphere is not great but nice, the service is the bare minimum even though you have to use your phone notes to order because they don't even use paper, the wait for the dishes is fair. Food: Hosomaki made badly, they weren't even closed properly. Hair inside the sweet and sour sauce, Temaki with an inedible seaweed (much better to eat the cardboard from the boxes), everything else tasteless, every single piece eaten had no flavor. Finally at the cash register I had to wait 2/3 minutes to receive the change, since they didn't have the change to give me.

02/04/2025: Excellent sushi, already when it was à la carte it was TOP now that it has become AYCE nothing has changed it is amazing it is the best sushi in the whole area.

10/03/2025: 5 stars on everything! Sushi Elis is in my opinion the best you can eat for value for money in Empoli. It's a small, welcoming place and the owner is wonderful. The Sushi is very good, we tried the Chinese one a few times and we liked that too.

09/05/2025: They are efficient, quick and polite enough, but they don't have our ways of serving you. In many years of operation they have not yet learned to interact effectively with Italian customers. They are cold and aloof and also seem annoyed if you ask too much of them. However, every now and then it can be removed.
