09/10/2025: Huge restaurant where we enjoyed a quick lunch outside on the terrace. Nothing wrong with that, knowing you're on a touristy street. The bonus is the view of a Greek temple.

18/10/2025: This is the only negative review I've ever written. The pizza was good, but the squid in the fried seafood recommended by the owner was incredibly smelling, I tried a bite, and the foul smell of squid melted in my mouth, it was just so disgusting….. And besides of this the owner also trying to scam us by charge for one extra dish.
29/09/2025: The food is average. If there are no other guests in the restaurant, they'll make a real effort to accommodate you. There are several free antipasti. But be careful! The giant mozzarella we didn't order ended up on our bill.

Friendly and qualified staff.
01/09/2025: Truly fantastic place, in an excellent location just minutes from Agropoli and Paestum.
Comfortable rooms (with a few little extra touches, they would be 5⭐).
The staff is exceptional, from the bar staff to the cleaning staff, all kind and always available.
The included beach service is very convenient, just steps from the sea: spotless beach and well-spaced umbrellas.
A quiet place, perfect for those seeking relaxation.

29/09/2025: An excellent place to spend a few days in Paestum in peace and comfort. Just two minutes from the Archaeological Park, with breakfast and parking included, it's a truly welcoming property.
Meticulously maintained, it also offers rooms with whirlpool tubs.
The owner is truly a wonderful lady. Go there!

22/09/2025: Excellent sandwich shop in Paestum near the Temples.
A big 🍔...the best I've had in the area...the location is stunning, with the Temples right across the street!
Very good ingredients...it's just a shame that the Venere ciabatta listed "Parma raw ham" as the ingredient, but it was just a very salty Italian raw ham 😉 and the drinks were priced like gold.

26/12/2025: We went to this lounge bar, which isn't what it used to be... Bare and sad tables, with only a single plastic napkin holder, a "menu" that was actually a printed A4 sheet without even a film around it, a dark place, empty windows, no background music, and no fireplace. We had two coffees and two Irish coffees and spent €17... I don't know what happened, but the Agripaestum of before was completely different.

11/11/2025: The mozzarella and tomato panini was very tasty. The sandwich is served cold, but the bread was fresh so it was not so hard or crunchy.
The woman at the register appeared disinterested and annoyed.
I cannot speak to the table service as I ordered for takeaway. The prices differ if you sit at a table so it’s best to confirm prices before you take a seat and order.
09/11/2025: Everyone was so kind! I had severe abdominal pain, and the bartender was very kind in suggesting a B&B for us to stay the night because their B&B was busy. The next morning, I went back with my husband to get some chamomile tea and he went to have breakfast. Mrs. Anna was very kind and even gave us directions to the nearest pharmacy!

06/09/2025: Terrible appetizer: pasta with beans and mussels that tasted like just fried rice and beans, and still-frozen shrimp. Not recommended.

They're super nice, always available, and the food is good both at the bar and in the restaurant.
Special mention for Letizia, the owner, who is a delight and makes you feel at home.

08/01/2026: Welcoming and polite, there's nothing more to say... Everything was ok.
04/01/2026: We stopped by on New Year's Eve for breakfast. We walked in, and after repeatedly greeting each other, no one answered. We approached the dessert counter to inquire about the selection and were greeted as if we were being rude. We were rudely told that we had to pay first, and after retorting that you had to choose to pay, we were "forced" to sit down so the table service staff, the same ones who hadn't greeted us at the entrance, could give us all the directions they could. We sat down, and the staff, even though they weren't already busy serving other tables, abandoned us to wait.
ABSURD.
We got up and left.
It would have taken a good person to deal with the level of hysteria that was going on. HORRIBLE

The food was fresh and delicious, especially the meat, which was delicious!
The staff was very kind and attentive.
We will definitely be back and highly recommend it.
18/12/2025: After our concert, they took us to dinner at this restaurant. I'd first like to thank the staff for waiting for us despite the late hour.
One of the first things you'll appreciate about the Simposium is its location very close to the temples of Paestum.
This restaurant combines grilled meat, pizza, and seafood.
The quality is good; I really enjoyed both the famous buffalo mozzarella and their meat.
The wait staff was very kind and helpful.
