The outdoor space is lovely, where in the summer it's a pleasure to enjoy pizzas while enjoying the refreshing coolness. Service is prompt, with no unnecessary waits, and the staff is welcoming and friendly. The pizzas, with their light, tasty dough, are high-quality and made with carefully selected ingredients. A truly enjoyable experience.

Tutto buono quello che abbiamo ordinato con menzione speciale per un caffè da 10 e lode!!! Dovessimo ripassare da quelle parti ci fermeremo sicuramente.

28/04/2025: For a few years now, coming back from Calabria after holidays, I have found it ideal to stop for a coffee break in southern Baronissi. Leaving the A2 motorway junction, immediately on the right, you will find a car park and the "Civico 53 café" (former Mamy Rose bar). The excellent croissants and good coffee are the same as always; the environment is always tidy and clean (not accessible to disabled people), now has two young and friendly managers. Returning to the motorway is immediate and convenient.

18/05/2025: Newly starred in Campania (well deservedly so), but with a long tradition, which is proposed well outside the usual tourist routes, which would be enough to highlight the passion for cooking beyond the commercial operation. Salvatore Avallone offers essential cuisine, a perfect combination of apparent simplicity and innovation, with some "oriental" touches wisely placed, which never distort the flavor of the ingredients, but rather enhance them. Summarized in a comment by Federica, precise and prepared Maitre Sommelier of Cetara: "We present what we know how to do". There are two tasting menus available, basically seafood and meat, which vary by season, both very interesting (so a second visit is almost "obligatory"). Extensive wine list, with ample space for local and Italian wines in general, and with a good number of foreign wines. Few tables in the room, good separation and intimate environment: the furniture and tableware are commendable. Prices in line with a starred restaurant. Although it does not have a private parking, it is not difficult to find a place in the area if you arrive by car. An absolutely recommended restaurant, which is also worth a detour to visit.

11/07/2025: We stopped at this place while passing through, drawn by the numerous reviews. However, the experience was disappointing: despite the extensive menu of first courses, we could only choose from four. I ordered the gnocchi alla sorrentina, but they were inedible: the sauce was acidic and the mozzarella was positioned in an unappetizing way. The only satisfying dish was the chicken breast, which was good and plentiful. The service was lacking: there was only one waitress for the entire room, and bread was brought to us only upon our request. Furthermore, the cutlery was not changed between courses. The bill was fair, and the place was clean, but I wouldn't return.

15/06/2025: The restaurant, located at the exit of the Baronissi junction, with a large parking lot, is very characteristic. Kind and professional staff will recommend a Lucullan path consisting of excellent dishes, all strictly homemade. Obviously the suffix "Braceria" indicates that the specialty of the restaurant is made up of different varieties of meat. But the platter of cold cuts with which you begin the path can be an excellent start. Then you move on to the first courses consisting of homemade pasta (I recommend the ravioli). Obviously you can't help but taste the various types of meat served with a side of potatoes in foil. Then you move on to the desserts which are exquisite. The cost is a little high, but proportionate to the quality. Two appetizers (abundant), three first courses, two kilos of meat, two side dishes, five desserts, 4 bottles of water and five covers, €190.

11/05/2025: I didn't like the pizza I ate very much. The dough is gummy, little filling and burnt on the edge. The environment is anonymous. It feels like being in a shop, because there are two large shutters on the street. The only positive thing is that the restaurant is in a very convenient location because it has a large car park in front.

10/07/2025: I've been here many times since I was a kid, but even though the years have passed, everything has remained the same. I was here for dinner. The waiter was kind and friendly. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We had two sandwiches, cheese fries, a Coke, and a beer. Everything arrived very quickly. The dishes were delicious. The price was right: 30 euros for two of us. Everything was perfect.

25/05/2025: I had never had a burger with a cold bun, luckily, the burger was lukewarm or had become so in contact with the bread. The meatballs were lukewarm and dry. In short, there was nothing warm, not even the environment.

04/07/2025: Everything was great, except for the friendliness of the window clerk on the street. Already when I was in line I saw unfriendly attitudes towards girls who could have been her daughters, but I realized that it is a routine attitude since she had it also with me who am an adult and I "allowed" myself to ask an extra question (the waiting times for a calzone)! Having said that, I am sorry but those who are in contact with the public (and especially with children and teenagers) have the duty - it would not be a bad vocation - to be kind, patient and polite!

07/07/2025: Very welcoming Bar Tabacchi. There are internal rooms for smokers and non-smokers. Large covered and shaded outdoor space. The staff is very friendly. Recommended.
