01/03/2026: A friend of mine and I went to "Anima e Pizza" on Valentine's Day. We had reservations, so they seated us as soon as we arrived. Parking near the restaurant was also pretty easy. The wait was about ten minutes. We ordered the pizzas pictured (a croccopizza and a margherita) and a bottle of still water. The pizza was a little thin for my taste, but the flavor was excellent (and super light!). We paid €10 each... top price for the area!

27/10/2025: We had high hopes after reading a number of positive reviews. Sadly, those that mention poor service are correct. The staff were completely disinterested and seemed beyond bored! The food was average and over priced. The entire place felt unloved and unwelcoming.

27/10/2025: This place has amazing food, everything served fresh! Delicious looking and tasting, all seasoned perfectly. The desserts are to die for, especially the limoncello tiramisu. Their special, pumpkin ravioli was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve had and the lasagna has been my favorite to date!

12/03/2026: Grilled meats with ingredients that are way above average. I'd say excellent. My go-to is always the 1500g T-bone, surrounded by a mountain of potatoes. The owner is incredibly knowledgeable, choosing the best rib eye during the most favorable aging stage.

06/01/2026: I visited this place around a year and a half ago on holiday and it was the most memorable part of my trip, hence why I'm writing this review despite the time that has passed. The atmosphere was amazing with super nice and lively staff, wonderful service and genuinely THE best pizza I've ever eaten in my life!! I think back to it every month or so, definitely go visit this place if you happen to be in the area!

The music was a very pleasant mix of genres, the terrace was lovely, and the service was attentive and responsive to customers' needs; all complemented by an extensive and expertly crafted cocktail menu! 02/03/2026: Restaurant is closed, but still appears as "open now" on google. There are renovations on the street in front, most likely this is the reason. Review is negative so that you don't walk 35 min's from the city centre in hoping for a great meal.

24/08/2025: We had the opportunity to take a cooking class here as a family and then we returned to the restaurant the next night for dinner. The food was amazing and so was the service and atmosphere! If you have celiac or need to eat gluten free, the chef is an expert at making dishes gluten free (including all the pastas). He will absolutely avoid any cross contamination. Also, the cooking class that we took was gluten free.

12/02/2026: My wife and I stayed at the hotel around the corner in May 2024, and like many others, came across Tony's Bar just off the Corso Italia. All lit up lovely in the evening, with the cosey outside canopied seating area being a warm and welcoming place to sit on the cooler evenings. Tony and his wife are just the most wonderful couple, we felt like we'd known them for years. We visited most nights before setting off down town, and more often than not, came back for a night cap before bed. Not expensive, a descent glass of house red, well poured, and all the main cocktails and mixers are on offer. An absolute gem of bar to visit if you are staying in and around Sant. Agnello. The train from Sorrento is a 5 minute ride and stops just over the road, so if you fancied venturing out and having a break from the hustle and bustle of Sorrento town, this is the perfect place to stop over. There's also a few Coffee shops and other smaller bars in the local vicinity. Give it a go!

05/10/2025: What a gem of a place this is! We spent almost every evening here as we enjoyed the atmosphere and the excellent service so much! Tony and his team are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble!
