03/01/2025: Relaxing dinner in a place with a family atmosphere, found by chance during a last minute trip. Very well maintained and welcoming location. Grandma's sandwich was a work of art, with homemade bread and the addition of pullastiello aubergines that was simply perfect. Finally we softened up with the classic bowler hat, soft and delicate. Thanks to the owners and their children. Places and people like this are now rare to meet. Thank you.

25/04/2025: Amazing pasta alla genovese, probably one of the best pastas I’ve had. Don’t expect much for “atmosphere” here, but definitely great food!

18/04/2025: I was looking for a restaurant to eat in broad daylight but everything was closed. the beautiful owner welcomed me, opened the restaurant and cooked for me… the typical food was delicious, I highly recommend this place.

26/04/2025: Posto molto semplice ma pulito e ben organizzato, il servizio è semplice e pratico, si ordina si paga e si riceve un numero che poi verrà chiamato per il ritiro delle prelibatezze. La saletta interna è accogliente e calda, riservata. Personale gentilissimo e la qualità dei prodotti è eccellente. Comodissimo l’ampio parcheggio. Il locale si trova in alto zona panoramica.

18/03/2025: In truth, when we go to Gragnano, we usually first stop at Pompei, which is quite close as the crow flies, to listen to the 7:00 PM Mass in the Cathedral on Saturday evening, or the 6:30 PM Mass on Sunday evening, in the small room of San Bartolomeo Longo, then we head to eat panuozzo. We usually go straight to Mascolo 1, located in front of the local hospital, but it is easier to do so on Sunday evening than on Saturday when a multitude of groups of young people from the area go to this very famous and excellent panuozzeria from the specialized point of view in the sector. Unfortunately, last Saturday was one of those evenings when the destination in question was taken by storm and stopping there would have meant having to queue for a few hours, with hundreds of people queuing up, since the place does not accept reservations, on purpose, knowing that by doing so, it would have to allow few customers to enter a place that is not very large. So it was just as a last resort, I'm sorry to admit, that we went on a whim to find some other place nearby that made panuozzi. Coincidentally, also because we were 4 with 2 cars able to find parking on the street, nearby, we stopped at this "Piccolo fornaio" that we didn't know was owned by the Malafronte family, whose name is very well known there. Initially the impact was not the best due to the little space between one table and another and a rather long wait due to there being only 2 tables occupied before us, and only one waiter who took orders when the customers arrived, without even giving them some soft drinks or water to drink, to while away the wait. After a good half hour our turn came and we were at least able to drink. Luckily we noticed, I in particular who hate burnt floury products, that they served overcooked panuozzi, almost toasted, so we specified that we preferred not to overcook, not even the rawness of the meals. So they served us a Tommaso, which however was missing mushrooms in the filling that called for them, in addition to bacon, mozzarella and a little spicy. Anyway, it was not at the "mascoiinian" level, but it was not bad, apart from the omission of that fundamental ingredient. Since we still had a bit of an appetite, we also ordered 4 croquettes + 4 arancini, which should have been 3 white (like supplì) and one red, but they arrived the other way around: 3 red + 1 white. Finally, we concluded with a generous portion of French fries. When it came to the bill, I have to be honest, we paid a really cheap amount, since out of 37 euros in total (divided by 4), 2 beers + 1 large coke were included, + service. Overall, the dinner went well, if not very well, given the costs and the kindness of the staff.

25/05/2025: I went on Sunday 25 May 2025 I asked for 4 cones of 2 euros each, the two sales assistants who served were arguing because one of the two was adding a cherry on the cone and shouldn't have done it all in front of us... rudeness and impoliteness are the only words I can write.

03/06/2025: I have been a customer of this pizzeria for many years. The atmosphere is familiar and welcoming and now also chic, after the modernization of the premises. The products used are quality and always fresh. The panuozzo della Casa is my favorite and the crocché made by them are delicious! The bill never reserves surprises, excellent quality/price ratio!

02/06/2025: The new look of Il Tris 2.0 not only preserves the warmth of the past, but enriches the experience with a modern and refined touch, which makes every visit even more enjoyable. I was there yesterday for lunch and I was really satisfied. We started with one of the new items on the menu, “la frittatina di pasta”, crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside, a real delight. To follow, a portion of chips and the inevitable panuozzi di Gragnano, which to call spectacular is an understatement: in my opinion, they are the best in the entire area, for the quality of the ingredients and pizza dough. The renovated structure is located in a location surrounded by greenery, with a breathtaking view that is the perfect setting for a relaxing lunch or a suggestive dinner. Making the experience even more special is the new generation of restaurateurs who carry on the project with passion, dedication and sincere affection towards customers, qualities that are perceived in every detail of the service. I highly recommend Il Tris to anyone who wants to spend a day or evening enjoying good food and hospitality, in a welcoming and atmospheric environment.
