The best panuozzo in the area, without a doubt!

Excellent pizza and fried food.
Panuozzo tasted like saltimbocca to me. I had to wait about 20 minutes even though I had a reservation, but that's their policy.
The bill was too expensive for what I ate.
I can't afford to go back every Saturday.

I went on Saturday evening for a Panuozzo, and I have to tell you, it wasn't bad.
Some reviews say there's no toppings, but my friends and I had excellent food, with just the right amount of toppings. My Panuozzo Meatballs with Friarielli and Provola sauce was excellent. It's a fairly busy place, but the owner keeps calm and organizes the tables. As soon as I arrived, I gave my last name, and within 5 minutes he called us and a table for four was ready. One note: as soon as you enter, you can smell a strong odor of alcohol. I don't think they use alcohol to disinfect, but it must be a spray detergent to clean the tables. To be honest, it's slightly annoying as soon as you enter. In conclusion, if you're in the area, stop by Mascolo for a Panuozzo. Excellent value for money. Best regards, Carmine P.

We were 4 adults and a 3-year-old.
Saturday evening at 9:00 PM, packed.
After a 35-minute drive and a 15-minute wait, we kindly asked if he could seat us because my other friend, who was 30 weeks pregnant, and I were waiting. There was no room outside, nor inside, so we couldn't sit for 30-40 minutes. It was cold outside, and there was a smoking area, so we had to wait standing inside.
The owner, who was friendly and super helpful, seated us, kindly asking the people before us if it was possible.
Everything was good.
The waiters were friendly.
The pizza chefs were friendly.
The dining room and bathroom were clean.
Of course, on a Saturday evening, the wait was a bit long everywhere. So, my deepest sympathy goes to all restaurateurs.

I went to this pizzeria on Tuesday, December 16th with my boyfriend and we both had panuozzo, one gluten-free for me and the other regular for him. The regular panuozzo was good, although very poor for a 13 euro price tag, and was mostly half a panuozzo (which is also indicated on the menu, but you can't pay 13 euros for half a panuozzo). The gluten-free one was also good, but it's unthinkable that a customer should have to pay 4 euros more for every dish they choose for a gluten-free one! It's now a given that gluten-free products cost more, but it's also true that I've never paid more than 4 euros for gluten-free, especially in a pizzeria that doesn't have a dedicated gluten-free oven but makes both the pizza and the panuozzo in the same oven where the regular products are also baked. This is absolutely unacceptable, charging an extra €4 for gluten-free options and not even having a dedicated gluten-free area, like the other Fratelli Mascolo pizzeria, also located in Gragnano on Piazza Guglielmo Marconi (I highly recommend this pizzeria both for its dedicated gluten-free area and for the quality of its products).
In my opinion, before raising prices and especially a gluten-free supplement, you should ensure customers are well-organized and not charge €4 more for flour, which is "too expensive."
The staff was friendly, except for the lady behind the register, who didn't even smile or say hello.
Conclusion? The other Mascolo pizzeria is better 🤣
