15/05/2026: I was there last month and I have to say that the food is good. The meat is top notch but I recommend asking for it to be cooked through otherwise they will serve it rare.

04/05/2026: We visited this restaurant last night and, unfortunately, I can only give it a completely negative review. The service was terrible from the start, with inattentive staff. However, the worst aspect was the quality of the food: the appetizers they call "house" were almost inedible and even seemed to have been prepared a long time ago. There were no potatoes of any kind, and then, as if by magic, they brought us a meager portion that looked like it was left over from some other table. Those who ordered the cutlet were served a small piece of chicken breast that had been fried badly or with old oil. The final confirmation of the poor quality came a few hours after dinner: everyone at the table complained of severe stomach aches and gastrointestinal problems during the night. It's unacceptable for a night out to end with such health problems. I strongly advise against this restaurant to anyone looking for a safe meal and professional service.

22/02/2026: The place has a beautiful view, the service is excellent, and the chef has a unique way of combining ingredients, making the dishes delicate and flavorful. The price is less than you'd expect. We'll definitely be back.

07/04/2026: Good evening everyone, after a beautiful walk near the lake, we went to Trattoria Marè. We sat inside, where they were still mopping the floor. The bathroom was out of disposable towels. At the table, however, we noticed that two out of four glasses were dirty, and the waiter very kindly changed them. Meanwhile, the hot and cold appetizers arrived, very meager, including: microwaved almond shrimp, unseasoned octopus, bland food, reheated and stuffed OLD canapés, Mexican-style beans, and a fish appetizer that had nothing to do with it, which was also bland. In short, everything they didn't sell yesterday, which was Easter, they reheated for us. Meanwhile, we barely had one plate returned, and the waiter kindly took it away, forgetting to bring a clean one. The seafood linguine arrived, tasteless, the grilled shrimp were of terrible quality, the fried shrimp and calamari were good, and finally the gnocchi, shrimp, and zucchini were good BUT, alas, with a long hair. We paid €12 for the cover charge (four people), despite what had happened. The price doesn't reflect the value of the food. P.S. For those who want to ruin an evening, choose "Trattoria Marè" or it's excellent, and I'd recommend it to my bitterest enemies.

11/06/2026: Nice restaurant on the Baia harbor, with a view of the bay. The staff is very nice and friendly, and the food is good but not exceptional. Highly recommended.

24/03/2026: Sunday lunch for four. We chose the tasting menu and paired it with several bottles of wine that are locally recommended as "local." The food was good, and the staff was very friendly, especially the owner, who is always very helpful. It wasn't our first time there, and it proved to be an excellent value.

17/01/2026: Well, what can I say? A flat, unleavened pizza that was left in our stomachs with barely any toppings... Basically, dough with a few pieces of toppings here and there... A flavorless first course... A frittata that was returned from the table and was kindly put back at the counter for the next customer! The only real positive is the location: it's undoubtedly beautiful, with a splendid view of the sea that creates a pleasant atmosphere. I also appreciate the fact that they cater to gluten-free options: they had both pasta and bread available, and they were attentive to this. Otherwise, however, the experience was very disappointing. We waited three hours for our first course, a simply unacceptable amount of time, especially without clear explanations or adequate apologies. During the wait, the service was virtually nonexistent: we didn't feel welcomed or cared for. The staff was clearly insufficient, both in number and in managing the room, and they also had a lackluster approach to the customer. The lack of organization was evident even in the most basic aspects: when we were welcomed, we weren't even served water, and we had to ask several times just to get it. Generally, we had to repeatedly call the staff for any need. We requested the "Lucullo" appetizer, but they mixed it up and brought it to us as if we'd ordered the tasting menu, which we hadn't. This mistake demonstrates a lack of attention and poor internal communication. Furthermore, the first courses weren't served all at once: we ate in staggered intervals, with some people at the table already finished while others were still waiting. It was an unpleasant and unprofessional situation. Many people around us were complaining about the incredibly long wait; several customers even got up and left before receiving their dishes, tired of waiting. As for the food, it wasn't poor quality, but it wasn't particularly exciting either. Given the interminable wait and the general disorganization, it's definitely not worth it. A lunch that should have been a pleasant experience turned into a stressful experience. I'm sorry to say this, but I can't recommend this restaurant at this time: the beautiful sea view alone isn't enough to make up for such poor service and inefficient organization.

22/02/2026: Stunning location: face to face with the sea! The quality of the ingredients is questionable, and the dishes are overly improvised. It's impossible to accommodate guests with food intolerances or even just different tastes. Dishes are not changed! Even though we were told otherwise when booking. Completing the review is the lack of coordination between the dining room and kitchen staff, and a lot of overcharging... Totally unacceptable wait times.
