19/01/2025: It is not the usual restaurant, the cave is truly particular, one of the best Calabrian places of great excellence. Which offers traditional Calabrian cuisine but above all everything arrives hot despite the numerous customers, not to mention that the starter is breathtaking, many courses but above all a lot of (quality). With great originality and careful choice of raw materials😋. In addition to the cuisine, however, the figures of the mother and daughter owners, historic owners of the business, who have been able to give a "home" atmosphere, which together with the quality of the culinary offer is certainly the key to the success of this restaurant. Congratulations to Maiora always.
01/01/2025: Terrible New Year's Eve last night, poor service and just a waste of time. Not recommended, especially the arrogant and grumpy owner.
6Dear owner, I sincerely hope that the future proves you right....remember the customers have to cultivate it,...unfortunately many fences, not from the locals, I think it shows some dissatisfaction, ask some questions, Happy New Year!

03/01/2025: Eccezionale . Ambiente e cucina familiare. Personale attento e cortese. Un posto dove potersi rilassare e mangiare bene . Ci ritorneremo sicuramente .BRAVI!
02/01/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo di capodanno. Bisogna dire che non é facilissimo da trovare, ma conviene non demordere. La location é molto carina e curata. L’host propone una formula a menù fisso o possibilità di mangiare alla carta. Non ne abbiamo usufruito ma la struttura dispone anche di posti letto per pernottare. Il cibo é buono e genuino ed il servizio altrettanto cordiale e disponibile. Si consiglia la prenotazione.

Two bruschettas with porcini mushrooms, binoculars were needed. Second course cut for 2, arrived on lava stone, good but mushrooms and raw potatoes aside. Dessert? 4.50 a truffle... Poor service, only one waiter who didn't know how to do his job. For the rest, I won't go back. Until we meet again

08/10/2024: Stand of the Festival. VERY DISAPPOINTED. unprepared, slow and not inclined to customer requests. Who said that sausage shouldn't be added to tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms?!? Maybe you already have them ready!?! Did you write it on Gambero Rosso?!? But what arrogance!!! And then the great starred pizza chef did the rest, he didn't want to add a miserable sausage on the pizza with porchetta. Others make it with pineapple and this gentleman says: it's not right. Put the glue hahaha But close. 40 euros 2 measly first courses and 2 2 pizzas 2 small fizzy drinks with a can of coke and a small beer, obviously without a receipt. Missing Briatore
08/10/2024: Stand della Sagra. DELUSISSIMO. impreparati, lenti e non propensi alle richieste del cliente. Chi l'ha detto che le tagliatelle ai porcini non và aggiunta la salsiccia?!? Forse le avete pronte già!?! Lo avete iscritto su gambero rosso?!? Ma che arroganza!!! E poi il grande pizzaiolo stellato ha fatto il resto, non voleva aggiungere una misera salsiccia sulla pizza con porchetta. La fanno con l'ananas altri e questo signore dice: non ci azzecca. Metti la colla ahahah Ma chiudete. 40euri 2 miseri primi e 2 2 pizze 2 frizzante piccole barattolo coca e birra piccola , ovviamente senza scontrino. Manco Briatore

Granted as a fiefdom to the Sanframondo family, who held it until the mid-1400s, Cusano subsequently passed through the hands of multiple feudal families: de Vera (1467), Gaetani (1480), Carafa, Del Tufo, Origlia, Monsorio, Barrionovo. Shortly before the subversion of feudalism the local population burned the castle (1780).
The local economy was based above all on sheep farming and the wool industry: Cusanesi woolen cloths, called "pannitti", were cheaper and less valuable than those produced in nearby Cerreto Sannita. The decline began in the second half of the eighteenth century when, among other things, the privatization of the Foggia customs put the system of transhumance in crisis.
Cusano was part of the Terra di Lavoro and, after the Unification of Italy, entered the province of Benevento within the Cerreto Sannita district.
