28/09/2025: The place is truly beautiful, with a view of the river that's worth admiring. It's a place where you can dine immersed in an enchanting landscape... it's a shame the restaurant leaves a lot to be desired. The portions are tiny—and that's coming from someone who's certainly not a big eater!—but here they really overdo it. I've attached some photos to prove it. The chestnut, bean, and porcini mushroom soup was so thin it was almost like broth (€15). Luckily, the bread was fresh, and despite etiquette, you can add it for a bit of substance. I had the tagliolini with pumpkin cream and toasted walnuts. They were decent, but I had to ask for some parmesan to add some flavor (€15). Finally, we ordered a plate of braised beef to share: in the photo, you can clearly see that the portion of mashed potatoes was barely half a spoonful... good, yes, but the portion is truly ridiculous! (€18).

05/10/2025: We returned buoyed by the pleasant experience of our first visit and therefore with high expectations, but we were extremely disappointed. For starters, when the owner came to take our orders, he couldn't explain what the mugliatielli on the daily menu were, and when we asked if they were lamb offal, he said no, which was extremely unfortunate because we later discovered that's what they were. When we naively told him we'd come from Pompeii specifically, he passed this on to other people who were also from Pompeii, disregarding our privacy and making us question where I lived. After our appetizer and a 40-minute wait, during which we noticed people who had arrived after us being served simply because they were acquaintances, we were served our main course while we were still waiting for our first course. To top it all off, we waited 15-20 minutes because the POS wasn't working, and in the end, we had to pay in cash. They didn't apologize for the wait during lunch or for the inconvenience with the POS, and they didn't even offer a coffee, which would have been the bare minimum given the terrible service. A couple sitting next to us were charged two desserts instead of one, and others complained about the cod, which wasn't good at all. In conclusion, we'll never return and we don't recommend it.
