Una sorpresa incredibile. Eravamo in vacanza a Sana Domenica per qualche giorno. Abbiamo chiesto un suggerimento ad alcuni amici che frequentano la zona e siamo andati a colpo sicuro ma il risultato è stato ben oltre quello che ci aspettavamo.
Carne ottima, un'ampia selezione, possibilità di far cuocere la carne acquistata direttamente da loro.
Il proprietario e tutto il personale cordiali, competenti e super disponibili.
Menzione d'onore a "Orsolina", non sappiamo se sia il suo vero nome ma ci ha accolto con un grandissimo sorriso e la carne che lei ha cucinato per noi era da 10 e lode!

Too bad we found ourselves eating out the day before our departure.
Quality and very generous service and food.
We ate for 4 people (a starter for 2 and 2 pizzas, 2 pasta dishes and 3 desserts + 4 drinks) and we paid €78. Which is more than reasonable.
I highly recommend.
Thanks to the whole team.
25/10/2024: Great food! Portions are deliciously large. During the season, the restaurant is only open from Thursday to Sunday. Unfortunately, we discovered it too late, but enjoyed it 2 evenings in a row: pasta carbonara, Mediterranean, fichi di indi, grilled pork cutlet. We were served tomato and onion salad with delicious focaccia. I really recommend it!

24/08/2024: Residence surrounded by greenery, super relaxing, with a staircase you reach the sea with a private beach, the sea is rough but very beautiful.
The simple and minimal room.
There is no TV but there is a veranda and air conditioning.
The simple breakfast of fruit and jam.
The owners and staff were all very kind. We even had a problem with the car and they promptly helped us.
11/08/2024: Unforgettable holiday! The structure is aimed at holidaymakers who want to relax, love cleanliness, good local food and prefer to have a unique, functional and intimate location. All the staff were always available to accommodate any request, the rooms (we opted for the B&B residence solution) were spotlessly clean and were made up daily. The breakfast with homemade products (jams, homemade bread, juices, butter, yogurt) pleasantly accompanied every morning awakening. The well-frequented, uncrowded beach has a bar that also serves lunches with excellent quality products. Vittoria, the owner, was exceptional! He pampered us throughout the holiday, transmitting to us the love for his structure, for his land! The view, the sea... I'll let you judge them from the photos!

17/08/2024: We spent 15 amazing days at Happy Days Residence with the whole family. The apartment was equipped with every comfort: spacious fridge, hairdryer, television and a delightful private terrace where we could relax. The residence is managed by very kind and always available staff, ready to satisfy our every request. The internal restaurant offers exquisite dishes, prepared with fresh, quality ingredients, at truly honest prices. The service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is welcoming and familiar. The location is strategic, just a few minutes from the beautiful beaches in the area. I highly recommend Happy Days Residence to anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable holiday in Calabria.

05/07/2024: Dopo aver dato un occhiata a tutti i possibili ristoranti della zona su internet questo è il risultato migliore! Devo dire ECCEZIONALI i primi piatti... Specialmente il ragù di gambero FENOMENALE, antipasto tipico avvolto da tanta tradizione dove si assapora i veri ripieni calabresi, frittura mista di pesce molto buona e croccante leggera al tempo stesso il tutto accompagnato da una focaccia che descriverei una nuvola. Ci ritornerò sicuramente... Lo consiglio vivamente.
28/06/2024: Schönes kleines Restaurant mit netten Personal. Das Essen war super und reichlich. Wer authentische Kalabresische Küche zu einem gute Preis essen möchte, ist hier bestens aufgehoben.

02/09/2024: All in all, on a level of a 3 star hotel, not 4. The room is good, although the furniture is or at least seems older. The room needs a comfortable armchair or small couch.
The personnel are great.
Very poor breakfast (one sort of ham and cheese for example).
Very loud in the evening after 2200 (not all guests like loud music and parties)

24/09/2024: From the outside you wouldn't suspect the wonderful culinary delights hidden in this place.
Calabrian home cooking “A la Mama” (only regional sea creatures were served on the plates!) and the whole family puts their heart and soul into it. You can also notice this in the food. Simple and delicious! You quickly forget that you are sitting on plastic chairs 😉
I can only recommend it... and in the end the price is right too.

21/09/2024: Delicious! The dishes are well prepared and taste very good. We went there several times to eat. The decor is simple, the service is friendly, and the food is wonderful. We can recommend it!!! Since we were there in the low season, the opening times did not match the information on Google. We therefore called to find out whether it was open.

20/09/2024: Ottimo servizio bell’atmosfera e cibo squisito sono stata 10 giorni in vacanza a capo Vaticano e ci sono andata ben 2 volte da provare anche perché non hanno solo sushi ma anche altri piatti classici da migliorare la carta dei vini

22/09/2023: Cette pizzeria familiale réserve un bon accueil. Ils proposent un grand choix de pizzas qui sont délicieuses et bien garnies. Pour information, ce restaurant propose uniquement des pizzas à consommer sur place ou à emporter. Ils vont également de très bonnes huile d’olives. Je vous recommande ce restaurant.

Great food!!! the restaurant is located in a parking lot, however, very nice service
12/09/2024: Clean environment although in my opinion devoid of a real personality, simple ingredients and elementary presentation, normal flavors and considerably higher prices compared to other restaurants in the area due to a 50% the fork menu (for example the mussels are offered at €18 while in other restaurants in the center of Tropea they cost €12).
Service offered by a single waiter who orders, serves and clears... still kind and attentive.
Excellent bread they produce, when it runs out they bring other really bad bread, a real shame because you don't appreciate either the food or the local oil.
All in all the place is enough for me…

12/08/2024: Con molto dispiacere devo recensire negativamente questo ristorante. L'inizio non è stato dei migliori, il nostro tavolo era l'ultimo in giardino completamente al buio, abbiamo chiesto di cambiare perché effettivamente non si vedeva a un metro ma l'unica alternativa proposta era all'interno (assolutamente da evitare perché molto caldo a causa del forno con le pizze), quindi siamo rimasti lì.
L'inizio non è stato male, perché gli antipasti e il vino erano buoni. Poi dopo è crollato tutto. Dopo l'antipasto un'attesa di oltre 1h per avere il primo, cosa assolutamente inaccettabile. Quando sono arrivati i primi, gnocchetti e spaghetti erano tremendamente salati, i 3 gnocchetti sono stati rimandati indietro perché erano davvero immangiabili. Ci hanno riportato gli gnocchetti e stavolta non erano male (forse quasi insipidi per paura di non sbagliare di nuovo, ma comunque meglio di prima). Avevamo ordinato anche la frittura ma durante l'attesa per i primi abbiamo chiesto di cancellarla per la lunga attesa (alla fine è arrivata ugualmente ma l'abbiamo rimandata indietro).
Forse abbiamo trovato la serata sfortunata, peccato, il locale ha potenzialità non posso dire di aver mangiato male, però gli errori sono stati davvero troppi e gravi.

Cibo di ottima qualità, porzioni adeguate al prezzo e un buon servizio da parte dei due fratelli proprietari!
Location situata in zona collinare vicino a Tropea, ottimo anche il clima ventilato!
Consigliata la caponata e la tagliata di Gaia!
Tutto super!
