13/05/2026: An unassuming place, but a pleasant surprise inside.
Good pint, friendly service, good ice cream, and reasonable prices. Plus, there are tables inside and outside, and a park next to it.
Overall, I recommend it, especially since it's also open in the afternoon.
21/04/2026: Excellent bar with reasonable prices (compared to Tropea, where they'll ruin your experience! And it's not worth it!) We went with friends (10 people) and paid €45! I really recommend the artisanal granita! And the brioche is wonderful! Excellent crepes! The truffles are second to none at Callipo in Pizzo Calabro 🔝

07/06/2026: I ordered two takeout pizzas. The pizzas were good, but I expected more from these reviews.
In my opinion, the dough should be rolled out more; the pizza, although well-cooked, was too bready for my taste. The ingredients were good. One of the pizzas even had a bit of ash from the oven.
It should be noted that when I went, the pizza chef was alone and did everything: managing the wood-fired oven, preparing the pizzas, and adding the toppings after baking. Typically, there are at least two people with this level of skill.

16/05/2026: The website advertises the place as being open 24 hours. However, it's completely closed when you arrive. No sign or anything. I guess that's how they do things when they don't want customers 🤷🏼♂️
25/12/2025: Beautiful, wide beach, perfect for long walks, with many amenities available. There's a restaurant and a beach bar, where you can book a fantastic boat trip or even rent a boat, as well as pedal boats and more. Suitable for families and accessible to disabled guests, there's paid parking.
I recommend it because the sea is gorgeous here too, and it's very convenient for the services it offers.
The parking barriers are new; so far, everything's fine.

20/05/2026: A wonderful spot with a stunning view across the Costa dei Monaci all the way to Tropea. An absolute insider tip for watching the sunset with views stretching to Stomboli. Very pleasant atmosphere.
17/05/2026: Location-wise, it's absolutely the best the overcrowded tourist town of Tropea has to offer. Amazing sea views and fantastic sunsets. The food, service, and atmosphere are perfect. This is reflected in the high number of visitors.

05/10/2025: We were visitors from Budapest and found the pizzeria accidentally in Parghelia. We ate pizza and drank wine,3 people. The food tasted good,the atmosphere was like home and the final sum was too low. The proprietor would deserve a higher income in our opinion.
It is a respectful pizzeria indeed.

16/10/2025: A very nice place where you can find excellent food and special people with big hearts. Napoli pizza with friarelli and sausage isn't good... but it's amazing. Chicken al mattone... divine. Then there's the owner and the head waiter, Pasquale, with a heart as big as a house, the pizza chef with golden hands, in short... a pizzeria restaurant discovered by chance on a Thursday in October 2025... that will remain in my heart ♥️
The negative reviews certainly refer to a place with the same name but in another location.
29/07/2025: I can only applaud the lead actor's great performance.
I'll start by saying that a few years ago we went to Cocis in Pizzo, near the shopping center, and twice, even though the chicken and pizza were good, they always treated us the same way: a higher bill, and when we asked for a detailed receipt, they added other dishes.
We arrived on July 26th, 25th, and we ordered chicken and pizzas for a group of about 15 people.
The first thing I said to the friends I was sitting with was that a few years earlier in Pizzo, they had tried to cheat me with the price twice.
I have to say that the food is good, both the pizza and the chicken, but the bill remains the real price.
When it came time to pay the bill, the man who had greeted us showed up with the classic handwritten note: TOTAL 300 euros.
After a quick calculation, we immediately realized there was a problem, and the waiter who did the calculations told us that we hadn't even been charged for the children's first courses (2/3 penne with tomato sauce).
So, already with our previous experience, we asked for the itemized bill, and then, like magic, the first courses appeared again.
To avoid unnecessary words, I looked at the menu and realized that the wines we ordered had been increased in price to bring the bill to the round figure of 300...
APPLAUSE for the third time... COCIS, BRILLIANT IN THE KITCHEN AND PHENOMENAL AT COUNTING...
Of course, as soon as we pointed this out, they justified themselves by saying that the menus had been poorly designed and the bill had been adjusted... OBVIOUSLY.
With this I just want to make a note to the managers of this place, you are good at cooking and you have a beautiful place, so you absolutely must not risk incurring any fines or anything else, to recover a few more euros it is not worth it and ABOVE ALL THE CUSTOMER IS SACRED... he is the one who goes where he is treated well and does not deserve to be cheated

20/10/2024: Los mariscos a la parrilla eran increíbles. Pez espada, Atún, Pescado local y Langostinos enormes. Fue maravilloso. Vino local. Una verdadera joya oculta y muy razonable.
