01/09/2025: I can't fault the courtesy, kindness, and above all, the deliciousness of the authentic Neapolitan pizza. The only flaw is that the place doesn't live up to the standards of a gourmet restaurant in terms of quality, deliciousness, and deliciousness. However, all that is overlooked by the deliciousness of this unique pizza.

29/08/2025: The owner and waiters were unfriendly and rude. I asked for a table on the terrace overlooking the sea, but was rudely told that the terrace was already full; in reality, there were spaces that could accommodate more. However, I immediately left, also because I believe that helpfulness and kindness toward customers are the best calling card for a restaurant.

18/08/2025: After waiting more than 1.5 hours for 3 crepes and 2 wrong orders we were treated terribly and threatened because we are Neapolitans (they told us to go back home!) Horrible owner, thank the Neapolitans if you still work!

24/07/2025: Trattoria-pizzeria with a refined and chic style. Good pizza, especially the Calabrian one with 'n duja and Tropea onions, and excellent swordfish with caponata. Service was a bit slow, but that was justified by the fact that the place was busy.
Prices are quite high.
15/07/2025: Magnificent restaurant. This is my second year in Parghelia, and Portale is my go-to place for a proper dinner. Excellent food, welcoming staff, top-quality ingredients, and incredibly affordable prices—the best place to eat in the area. I highly recommend it. Try it and believe it.

22/08/2025: The restaurant is on the road, with easy parking and a beautiful view of the sea. The outdoor seating is fairly quiet, and the service is acceptable. The food wasn't the best.
20/08/2025: We went here for pizza, but by 8:30 PM they had run out of pizza dough. No big deal, we thought; we'd just order a fish first course or second course: a bad choice. The pasta was overcooked and tasteless. As for the second course, we ordered fried calamari, but were served poor-quality fried squid, which was inedible in texture and flavor, and was badly fried.
The bill was extremely high, completely out of line with the quality of the food served.
In conclusion: a terrible experience.

29/07/2025: I can only applaud the lead actor's great performance.
I'll start by saying that a few years ago we went to Cocis in Pizzo, near the shopping center, and twice, even though the chicken and pizza were good, they always treated us the same way: a higher bill, and when we asked for a detailed receipt, they added other dishes.
We arrived on July 26th, 25th, and we ordered chicken and pizzas for a group of about 15 people.
The first thing I said to the friends I was sitting with was that a few years earlier in Pizzo, they had tried to cheat me with the price twice.
I have to say that the food is good, both the pizza and the chicken, but the bill remains the real price.
When it came time to pay the bill, the man who had greeted us showed up with the classic handwritten note: TOTAL 300 euros.
After a quick calculation, we immediately realized there was a problem, and the waiter who did the calculations told us that we hadn't even been charged for the children's first courses (2/3 penne with tomato sauce).
So, already with our previous experience, we asked for the itemized bill, and then, like magic, the first courses appeared again.
To avoid unnecessary words, I looked at the menu and realized that the wines we ordered had been increased in price to bring the bill to the round figure of 300...
APPLAUSE for the third time... COCIS, BRILLIANT IN THE KITCHEN AND PHENOMENAL AT COUNTING...
Of course, as soon as we pointed this out, they justified themselves by saying that the menus had been poorly designed and the bill had been adjusted... OBVIOUSLY.
With this I just want to make a note to the managers of this place, you are good at cooking and you have a beautiful place, so you absolutely must not risk incurring any fines or anything else, to recover a few more euros it is not worth it and ABOVE ALL THE CUSTOMER IS SACRED... he is the one who goes where he is treated well and does not deserve to be cheated
