06/01/2026: The restaurant is well-presented, and the staff is very friendly, cheerful, and helpful. We had spaghetti with clams and mussels, and linguine with lobster, the latter, in my wife's opinion, superb! Then there was fried fish and a side of grilled vegetables and French fries. Water and house wine. Everything was delicious. We'll definitely be back this summer. Price: around €40 per person, but be warned; for four of us, we only ordered two fried dishes and two main courses. To finish, we had two coffees and two liqueurs.

Yes, definitely a stop for those who love beautiful things. The staff's hospitality is 10+ (I think the name is Vincenzo). I'll be back, in fact, I'll be back often.

07/02/2026: We came here with the intention of eating pasta alla corte d'Assise. We weren't disappointed at all, on the contrary!! The pasta dish was delicious, balanced, and plentiful, but I assure you, you'll eat it all because it's truly delicious. Highly recommended.

15/02/2026: A somewhat small place in a less well-maintained area. The counter is spotless and offers a wide selection of puff pastry, classic pastries, and cakes. The puff pastry is very crispy and light, and there are many varieties of croissants, all worth trying.

27/12/2025: One of the best places in Locride and beyond. Between Siderno Marina and Siderno Superiore, easily reached from the marina via Contrada Vennerello, just beyond the multipurpose center. Excellent ingredients, either home-grown or sourced from small local producers. Traditional cuisine with bold but not heavy flavors. Excellent meat, pasta, and vegetables, very good wood-fired pizza. Memorable house wine. Young and very friendly staff. Traditional but not nostalgic, but rather well-maintained and spotlessly clean. Convivial and welcoming atmosphere. Fair prices, clearly stated on the menu when ordering. Highly recommended for experiencing authentic Calabrian hospitality.

09/09/2025: Delicious local food, a family-run atmosphere with very friendly staff ready to accommodate every need. Compared to all the exorbitant prices you hear about at Lido Gelsomino, the prices are more than affordable. It will be my vacation spot again next year.

23/11/2025: The location is truly beautiful and the waiters are friendly, but unfortunately the rest of the experience was disappointing. There were problems right from the moment we booked: we called on Tuesday to reserve a table and were told to call back the next day because they were busy; they immediately hung up on us, which was truly unprofessional. When we arrived, things didn't improve. We had a reservation for 9:30 PM, but we had to wait until 10:00 PM to be seated. We had to wait outside in the freezing cold of 10°C (50°F), and despite this, we were told we'd have to wait even longer to order. We finally ate until around 11:00 PM. The wait times, both for a table and for service, were truly excessive. A real shame, because the pizza was delicious and the place has potential, but the overall organization and management need significant improvement.
