A lovely discovery in Mammola, a refined and charming little restaurant where you can eat excellent stockfish 🎣. Dinner for four was delicious, and the menu, including the à la carte menu, was unique and comprehensive, offering truly excellent value. The chili pepper jam was excellent 🌶️
We'll definitely see you again in the coming Calabrian summers.

12/07/2026: The welcome was incredibly warm and the service was top-notch. We ordered appetizers, first courses, and second courses, and everything was delicious, accompanied by excellent wine by the glass and a beautiful selection of bottles. A heartfelt thank you to Francesca and Asia for their attentiveness and extraordinary kindness!

04/08/2026: If you want to eat real stockfish, you've come to the right restaurant. The food is delicious and the fish is very fresh. The service is fantastic, the staff is excellent, and the place is really cute—it's not very big, so you can eat in peace.
It's a restaurant that's well worth it, and I recommend it to all stockfish eaters.
The price is very fair, excellent value for money!
26/07/2026: It's been quite a few years since I've been to Mammola, and especially to Taverna dei Sapori. I went there today and had a fantastic meal, all stockfish-based, simply sublime. I'll definitely be back.

22/07/2026: My brother has been a regular customer of the restaurant for years, he has always spoken highly of it, well the reality has far exceeded expectations, excellent food, excellent service, fabulous price, what can I say, I hope to have the opportunity to return
21/07/2026: A Arabian Nights dinner featuring stockfish, from appetizer to main course, pleasantly surprised us with its variety, flavor, and digestibility. We finished with a ricotta mousse for dessert and sampled the delicious mandarin and licorice liqueurs, which I believe they make. In addition to purchasing two bottles of licorice, we also enjoyed the onion and chili pepper jam we'd sampled with our appetizer.
Highly recommended.

16/08/2026: Nice restaurant near Mammola. We tried some appetizers and I must say they were excellent, especially the cod, both battered and in meatballs. For our first course, we had the spaghetti alla famous "Corte D'assise." They were excellent, but after that, we couldn't eat anymore, too full.
Fast and friendly service, great prices, and generous portions.
We'll be back to try the other fried dishes, which looked delicious.
08/05/2026: An experience to forget… smelly bread with insects, overcooked pasta, sour sauce and hair, some cutlets were delivered raw and others burnt, frozen chips, almost expired Coca-Cola, questionable dessert… insistent staff, quite nice location, but we found some insects there.

10/06/2025: Siamo andati a pranzo il due giugno e nonostante i numerosi coperti, il servizio è stato celere e preciso. Il menù senza glutine è stato pari al normale. Inoltre la simpatia e l'attenzione di Leonardo e Carmelo nei nostri riguardi è stata la ciliegina sulla torta. Ci torneremo presto. Vi consiglio di farci un salto e non rimarrete delusi.
06/06/2025: Locale molto bello e ben curato, perfetto per pranzare e cenare all'aperto godendo di aria pulita. Il cibo è squisito e di ottima qualità e il personale è molto disponibile e gentile, in particolare i camerieri Carmelo, Domenico e Michele sono stati molto cordiali e simpatici. Ritorneremo sicuramente per deliziarci di altre specialità.

And if you have some time, go hiking with Sergio in the Aspromonte Park: a real treat.

Non so che altro dire se non un posto "di casa" dove poter tornare/mangiare tutti i giorni. P.S. i bambini hanno leccato il piatto
