04/10/2025: Short stay...one evening.....I stopped by with my family...top service!! Exceptional food.

13/09/2025: The appetizer shared by two, with various tastings, was more than sufficient in quantity, but remarkable in quality and preparation. Then came the mixed fried fish (fresh, not frozen) and roasted octopus. The homemade licorice baba was a surprise, ordered out of curiosity, but a good variation on the original. Attentive, attentive, and friendly service. Affordable price.

04/10/2025: A very good restaurant in Le Castella. This fish restaurant also offers options for vegetarians. The place gets very busy at lunchtime, and it gets quite noisy. The service remains friendly, even in the hustle and bustle. The food is served quite quickly.

15/09/2025: What a disappointment. I've been coming here every year for the past six years to eat raw crab and pasta. I've always asked for it to be cleaned in the kitchen, which has always been done. This year, I was given pasta with sauce and crab on the side, without claws or anything else. I asked for it to be cleaned, and the ashtray brought it back with broken claws, saying it was buckets of junk. Too bad the entire body without claws was inedible. I also pointed this out on the bill, where the replies weren't any better. In short, I won't be coming back. However, I found out from Mimmo later that I'd been snubbing him for years.

04/10/2025: We spent 1-night at the B&B. We had a ground floor triple room for 2 at the back garden. The room was comfortable and the bathroom was good. There was plenty of space to park our bicycles. It is a short walk to the castle and beach, plus into the village. The location and village is great. The breakfast was disappointing. We arrived shortly after 8am and they were disorganized. Half the things were not out and the others at breakfast were questioning what was available. The cake they brought out was completely frozen and could not be cut. At around 8.30 they brought out freshly heated croissants to save the day.

19/09/2025: Nice bed and breakfast, very spacious and new rooms, very good breakfast. It also has a restaurant and pizzeria. Very friendly staff. Located a 5-minute walk from the castle beach.

24/07/2025: We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who were friendly and eager to accommodate their guests' every need. Excellent breakfasts are served in the well-kept garden. The rooms are clean and equipped with every comfort. The town center is just a 5-minute walk away. A heartfelt thank you to the owners, from Alfio and Gabriella.

12/10/2025: We went there one October evening with friends. I wasn't familiar with the place, but Salvatore and the pizza chefs welcomed us with a smile. The pizzas were excellent (I enjoyed the Sorrentina with yellow cherry tomatoes), especially the well-cooked, thin crust and easy to digest. The service was fast and attentive, and the prices were fair. Afterwards, we had a pleasant chat while sampling the typical Calabrian herb-based kaciuto. The restaurant seats about twenty people; reservations are recommended. Recommended

07/10/2025: We ate a very good pizza, an equally good calzone. Good crispy and tasty dough. Highly recommended.

02/09/2025: An elegant and refined atmosphere with a lawn, tables nestled among the olive trees, and soft background music accompanying the evening. We ordered pizzas, well-leavened with a light dough. The center is soft and melting, crispy on the bottom and edges. The pizza is well-cooked, and the bottom is free of burnt spots, a sign that the pizza chef has full control of the dough and the oven. The toppings are high-quality and the flavor is harmonious. Fair prices and friendly staff. Recommended.

29/08/2025: We had dinner last night, a beautiful location, excellent food and service. We had two bottles of water, one of wine, two peppered mussels, three spaghetti with clams, one with tomato sauce, mixed grill, sorbet, and a sweet and sour drink.

17/08/2025: I was there on August 16, 2025. The place was wonderful. The staff was friendly and very efficient. The restaurant manager was a true master, fully aware of his role. The cuisine was excellent; the food was truly delicious. Just two comments: 1. A place this beautiful and so well-organized cannot and should not serve sorbet in paper cups. 2. 19/10/2025: We're here for brunch today. I've rarely enjoyed such a diverse selection. A new dish is added every time the bell rings. The staff is friendly and extremely attentive to table service. Highly recommend it to guests who appreciate good food with high-quality ingredients and craftsmanship. Brunch €25, excluding drinks. Thank you for the unforgettable gourmet foray into Italian cuisine.

18/08/2025: Entering through a modest door, you arrive in a room filled with historical objects. I was pleasantly surprised by the restaurant's decision to introduce guests to its spacious and tidy open kitchen and its welcoming staff. You then pass directly into another room and then onto a large terraced garden with tables spaced apart under a ventilated pergola. The staff is courteous, and the atmosphere remains intimate despite the limited space. Excellent freshly caught fish and simple, fresh side dishes. The 5 stars I give aren't just for the quality of the simple, tasty dishes, but for the combination of flavors and well-being you experience when dining at Annibale in the heart of the village, within a garden that never fails to hark back to a time when restaurants were also appreciated for the atmosphere they created, as here in the name of one of history's greatest generals. 12/10/2025: We had lunch at Kuta on October 12th, and I must unfortunately confess I have several complaints about the experience: right from the start of the meal, when we wanted to order a light appetizer to prepare the meal, the waiter overzealously urged us to order two because—in his opinion—there wouldn't be enough. The result, however, was a lot of leftovers that went back to the kitchen. When it came time to order our first courses, we weren't allowed to choose and were instead forced to stick to a Christening menu: we'd been given paccheri, but the fusilli we ordered were overcooked and tasteless, most likely cooked before we'd even had a chance to finish our generous appetizer. As for the main course, we were offered an entrecôte, as there was no option for a slice. Despite the person who ordered it clearly expressing their desire for it well-done, the dish arrived rare, uneatable. The child accompanying us—who ordered a cutlet and fries—received what was clearly a supermarket cutlet. The service was, therefore, inadequate and unwelcoming, with a marked lack of flexibility in meeting the customer's needs. The only positive note was the location, where we particularly appreciated the painting right next to our table, featuring a photo of dear Massimo.
