15/03/2026: For our lunch today, we chose the agriturismo with the highest Google rating, even though we were about an hour and a quarter away... and we were right!
A place immersed in the Pollino nature. Kind and friendly owners. Food is completely local, generous portions. Everything is truly DELICIOUS!
We promised ourselves we'd return not only for lunch, but also to stay overnight. Plus, the property organizes a variety of activities, such as trekking, rafting on the Lao River, and an adventure park.
The dog Gianfilippo is especially noteworthy ♥️, super sweet and cuddly.

29/11/2025: We stopped for a hike and then for lunch. The food is exceptional, authentic, and delicious. The owners are wonderful people, kind, helpful, and friendly. I absolutely recommend them.

11/12/2025: Visit the cave during the Immaculate Conception weekend. The last 2 kilometers are accessible via a narrow road. The cave entrance is accessible via a 100-meter forest path. Both the exterior and interior of the cave are fascinating. The guide was very kind and helpful.
03/12/2025: If you're passing through Pollino or the surrounding area, don't miss the opportunity to visit the Romito Cave and Shelter (HERMIT), an archaeological site dating back to the Upper Paleolithic, containing one of the oldest examples of prehistoric art in Italy. The guided tour will captivate you with its artifacts, rock formations, and ancient history.

23/08/2025: We had dinner here with a group of friends after rafting. The atmosphere is very relaxing, you feel right at home, thanks in part to the warm welcome from the owners. They were incredibly kind and hospitable, and we felt truly at ease. The pizzas were delicious. We hope to return soon!
20/08/2025: We stumbled upon this family-run restaurant.
There were eight of us, including four children.
We sat outside and were greeted with excellent house bruschetta.
The menu features very few typical local dishes, all truly delicious!
We met wonderful people, who were very attentive to service.
We had such a great time, so much so that we returned the next evening.

03/09/2024: Di ritorno da una settimana di mare a San Nicola Arcella abbiamo deciso di fare un giro a Papasidero per visitare il piccolo borgo e il santuario della Madonna di Santa Maria di Costantinopoli incastonato nella roccia, a ridosso del fiume Lao guidati dall’eccellente guida Maria Teresa 😊. A pranzo abbiamo deciso di fermarci sulla sponda del fiume dove sorge questo lido attrezzato e abbiamo degustato dei panini tipici con prodotti calabresi di ottima qualità tutto preparato al momento. I gestori del lido molto gentili ci hanno fatto accomodare nell’area riservata pic nic , perché essendo 17 persone potevamo stare tutte insieme in unico tavolo. Pranzare immersi in quel posto magnifico, con il rumore dello scorrere dell’acqua è davvero un’esperienza rigenerante. Da provare assolutamente 😉
16/08/2024: Posto meraviglioso e gente che lo gestisce cordiale e alla mano..ci siamo gustati un ottimo panino ben farcito con tante cose gustose del posto con il rumore della natura a due passi dal fiume

28/08/2025: During our vacation in Papasidero, it was our go-to spot for an excellent afternoon coffee, sitting outside at the tables the bar provides, overlooking an enchanting view. The owners are very kind and welcoming.
