22/08/2025: A small restaurant on Castrovillari's main street, offering bites and bites (i.e., half portions), allowing you to sample a little of everything from the extensive menu featuring typical Calabrian products. Highly recommended, and a special mention for the "story-worthy" desserts.

08/07/2025: Pizza ottima, gentilezza e cordialità. Io e mio marito abbiamo trascorso una bella serata e saremmo tornati anche la sera successiva, ma, ahimè, chiuso per riposo settimanale!!! Mentre pagavamo alla cassa il ragazzo ci ha offerto un bicchierino di una liquirizia strepitosa!!! Veramente ospitali. Consigliato!

The restaurant is large, very well furnished and enjoys an excellent location, with private parking. The menu is very varied, the service is excellent, the staff is super attentive and the prices are good. It is definitely worth it!

02/06/2025: Excellent cuisine, that of Vincenzo Esposito. I enjoyed the Gnocchetti alla Sorrentina and an amazing Parmigiana. I highly recommend it.
21/05/2025: High quality pizza, wide selection and also recommended for children. Fast and efficient service.
The only flaw is the seating, too close together and upstairs in the smallest room, you eat close to the bathroom door

08/09/2025: We arrived late, but the staff's courtesy and prompt attention allowed us to eat anyway. Excellent food, excellent preparation, a wide selection, and a rich tradition.

31/08/2025: Obviously, for those who've never been outside this area, it's a great pizzeria.
The truth is, yes, the pizza is decent; yes, the prices are reasonable (but we're not in Milan). However, the kitchen and oven are poorly organized: biblical wait times and service that's not always up to par. It's my home, after all, and I don't have the heart to penalize it too much.

21/08/2025: On our way back from vacation, we stopped for lunch at this Calabrian restaurant by chance.
Excellent, distinctive, and homemade food, a clean atmosphere, and fast service.
They make special artichokes in oil and delicious desserts!
19/08/2025: Everything was delicious, especially the fish-based first courses. I highly recommend the fusilli with creamed zucchini and raw shrimp. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. We'll definitely be back.

Hotel - Ristorante - Pizzeria La Falconara

04/06/2025: Well organized hotel restaurant with excellent cuisine and pizzeria all accompanied by kindness and professionalism
01/05/2025: The hotel has a strategic position just a few minutes from the motorway exit and is also a pizza restaurant (which we did not try as we arrived after dinner).
The structure has private parking, a children's play area and is surrounded by greenery. The room assigned to us was very spacious, clean and equipped with all comforts even though we had booked it an hour before our arrival. The staff was very kind and very welcoming, they satisfied all our requests, they even made us find a warm room for small children. Breakfast is not a buffet but is served at the table, with homemade cakes (delicious) and packaged products. We would perhaps have preferred a more varied breakfast including savory items (also given the price of the room) but we should have reported it earlier.

13/08/2025: Excellent pizza, helpful and friendly staff. The place is small but very cozy. The prices are reasonable. It's the best pizzeria in Castrovillari. I recommend it to everyone.
