30/06/2026: Such a beautiful surprise. Got there by accident while waiting to go to the airport. You can go by foot from central raioway station. Very nice owner with such care for details and welcoming. Amazing food: local ingredient with a twist . Reccomended

Just 2 km from the airport, we found this restaurant with an excellent culinary offering. Carefully prepared, balanced, high-quality, and attentive to seasonality. The quality/price ratio is definitely fair. The service was attentive and very friendly.

06/06/2026: Wooow!! The best food we've ever eaten!
25/04/2026: Today I went to this place for the first time. Everyone was friendly, the food was good, but at the end there was a slight inconvenience with the bill that I wasn't expecting. We asked for the menu and from there we got two normal seafood appetizers for the price of €15 as written on the menu and grilled salmon. When we went to pay, each appetizer course was increased by €5, so instead of €30 it was €40 and something for the salmon too. I expressed my disappointment to the lady who was at home. Her response? We forgot to update the paper menu and she immediately slapped the receipt on us with the increased price. I am a very polite person, I paid and left, but this is a serious inconvenience that is reserved for customers and doesn't seem fair to me. You should let us know if there are any changes just for the sake of clarity.

08/07/2026: We dined at this restaurant, which enjoys an enviable location with tables set on a terrace overlooking the sea. Beyond the stunning setting, they make wood-fired pizza that rivals Neapolitan pizza in every way. The fried fish was also excellent, paired with a recommended wine that made our evening even more enjoyable. Furthermore, the owner, Roberto, and his wife took great care of us throughout the dinner. I recommend all foodies to stop by Il Pirata.
01/07/2026: We had the pleasure of eating here for lunch and, so pleased with the food and atmosphere, we returned in the evening! The owner and the entire team are incredibly welcoming, the fish is incredibly fresh, and the location is perfect. You can also eat outside, accompanied by the sound of the sea. Highly recommended!

14/02/2026: Negative experience... a Valentine's Day dinner (2026) where we gave them 70 euros for a poor appetizer, 2 truly inedible first courses, only 3 pasta hearts, and a fried food that can't even be called such, almost starving. I didn't wait for dessert because I had already seen so much from the dinner, I saved myself a trauma. Never again. The place should be closed starting with dinner in the cold it was.
14/02/2026: A decidedly negative experience. I ate at this restaurant on Valentine's Day and it was a bad experience. Unfortunately, the food was poor, and the portions were very small. The portions were small, and the food didn't live up to expectations. The place was cold and the service was unwelcoming. I won't even talk about it. I absolutely don't recommend it.

30/06/2026: We got there around 7:30 pm and the place wasn't very crowded. It was a nice location, very Neapolitan pizzeria style. The staff was very friendly, especially one gentleman (I think he was the boss) who was very kind from the moment we arrived. He recommended the fried calamari, telling us that they were fresh and freshly arrived. In fact, when they were served, they were delicious and you could see they were fresh. The only flaw was the pizza, given that it was very busy, but otherwise everything was good.

31/10/2024: Di ritorno da un viaggio a Reggio, decidiamo di fermarci all' uscita di Falerna per cercare un locale dove poter mangiare, visto l' ora e la fame da lupo. Leggiamo le recensioni su questo locale e non sono male, così decidiamo di entrare. Ci accolgono molto cordialmente e ci fanno accomodare, la location fa molto anni 80, tipico di vecchie osterie. Ordiniamo antipasto, primo e frittura di calamari. Antipasto nella media, insalata di mare un po' dura e senza sale, pepata di cozze buona, anche se le cozze erano piccole, quantità normali. Il primo (fusilli al pesce spada) non aveva nessun sapore e la pasta era scotta. La frittura troppo cotta e dura. Tipico locale per turisti che vogliono spendere poco e non hanno molte pretese.

Decente e Abbondante Pepata di cozze €9 , braciata di pesce €18 con 3 gamberoni super deliziosi,spigola,seppia e pesce spada(ops..ventresca pero') Millefoglie scomposta molto buona. Nel complesso più che bene. Ps: anche la pitta aveva una buona faccia. Servizio ottimo. Da tornare anche se nel periodo estivo andrà sicuramente in sofferenza leggendo le recensioni.
