04/09/2025: Terrible experience. Dirty, almost no breakfast. You're not allowed to choose your breakfast. You're stuck with a single croissant (you can't choose a flavor), and they make you coffee or cappuccino. Terrible service.
Two stars only because one is for the dog on the terrace.

15/08/2025: Tip for those arriving by car: when exiting the highway at Falerna, don't follow Google directions for "Contrada San Pietro." It's better to reach the restaurant by passing through Falerna Marina and continuing on the SP97, a simpler and smoother route.
Antipasto di sapori calabresi: an explosion of authentic flavors. A must-try!
The ravioli are also worth a try.

As someone who works in the industry, I have to say they offer incredible value for money, they work with the finest ingredients with great professionalism and skill, and I can assure you, both in the kitchen and in the dining room, they do an incredible job.
20/08/2025: Excellent restaurant, with a knowledgeable and helpful owner. The food is cooked to perfection, and I deserve to compliment the chef. The value for money is also good. Unfortunately, I'm giving it one star for the cover charge... I've never experienced paying €5 per person anywhere, even though I often dine at various restaurants. This certainly isn't a problem that detracts from the quality of everything else. Anyway, I recommend the restaurant...

31/08/2025: We had a very pleasant evening at this pizzeria: the crunchy pizza was excellent, carefully prepared with good-quality ingredients. The fried foods were surprisingly light and flavorful. The service was quick, organized, and friendly, ensuring a dinner without long waits. The only thing that could be improved was the ventilation in the dining room, which was completely lacking on a warm evening, making the atmosphere a bit stuffy. Overall, a place worth trying.

07/09/2025: I often go to Il Pirata, and every time it's a confirmation: the fish is incredibly fresh, the dishes are always varied, and the attention to detail is meticulous. But that's not all: the pizza is also delicious, light and easy to digest, made with quality ingredients.
Chef Davide is truly talented, and he manages to elevate every dish with original yet balanced combinations. The atmosphere is welcoming, and the owners and staff make you feel at home with their kindness and professionalism. It's rare to find a place that so successfully combines quality, warmth, and a sea view. For me, it's become a regular stop when I want to indulge in a true seafood experience.

02/09/2025: This restaurant is literally right on the sea, and if you book a table outside around 7:30pm you’ll enjoy a perfect sunset while dining. I’ve been coming here every summer holiday, and the food has never disappointed me. The fresh fish dishes are always excellent, and the stone-baked pizza is a must-try.
We recently celebrated the 15th of August bank holiday here with my family, enjoying a special set menu at €55 per person. It included six delicious fish courses, dessert, and drinks—great value for the quality.
I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for families, as the location right in front of the beach makes the whole experience unforgettable.
22/08/2025: Welcoming atmosphere.
Terrible service, slow and poor.
Complete order placed at 9:30 PM, appetizers arrived at 10 PM (fried baby octopus and calamari), and it's 10:43 PM and the pizzas still haven't arrived.
We're definitely not there.
I don't think we'll be back... or maybe they'll find me asleep at the table, who knows...

31/10/2024: Di ritorno da un viaggio a Reggio, decidiamo di fermarci all' uscita di Falerna per cercare un locale dove poter mangiare, visto l' ora e la fame da lupo. Leggiamo le recensioni su questo locale e non sono male, così decidiamo di entrare. Ci accolgono molto cordialmente e ci fanno accomodare, la location fa molto anni 80, tipico di vecchie osterie. Ordiniamo antipasto, primo e frittura di calamari. Antipasto nella media, insalata di mare un po' dura e senza sale, pepata di cozze buona, anche se le cozze erano piccole, quantità normali. Il primo (fusilli al pesce spada) non aveva nessun sapore e la pasta era scotta. La frittura troppo cotta e dura. Tipico locale per turisti che vogliono spendere poco e non hanno molte pretese.

Decente e Abbondante Pepata di cozze €9 , braciata di pesce €18 con 3 gamberoni super deliziosi,spigola,seppia e pesce spada(ops..ventresca pero') Millefoglie scomposta molto buona. Nel complesso più che bene. Ps: anche la pitta aveva una buona faccia. Servizio ottimo. Da tornare anche se nel periodo estivo andrà sicuramente in sofferenza leggendo le recensioni.

Totale relax e immersi nella natura. Francesco, il titolare del locale, è gentilissimo e sempre disponibile per assecondare le esigenze di tutti. Il cibo risulta essere di ottima qualità… vista mozzafiato da bordo piscina!
