27/12/2024: The Jeans Restaurant is a bet that won from the start. You can't come to Melfi without having a meal at Jeans. Upon arrival you are greeted by an elegant and refined atmosphere, but without too many frills. The dining room staff is always excellent and highly professional. The management is always attentive to the well-being of the customer. The culinary offerings range from refined dishes to gourmet burgers, ideal for any type of consumption. Each dish carefully reflects the Lucanian culinary experiences, with particular attention to seasonality and the high quality of the products. Unbeatable value for money. Absolutely recommended.
24/12/2024: A real surprise, I was able to enjoy a dinner with attention to the smallest details, a wide variety of delicacies presented impeccably in a perfect crescendo of flavors and tastes. I highly recommend taking the time to fully enjoy the Chef's rare skill.

01/01/2025: terrible place, €50 for New Year's Eve lunch and for dessert they served us a simple panettone bought at the supermarket, when I politely asked the older waiter if another type of dessert was available he replied in a rude tone "today there is it's this dessert", we would have expected a homemade dessert being a "farmhouse", but no. I would also add that at the checkout they made us pay a receipt of €250 when it was €300 to pay less taxes, with the remaining €50 in black, the cashier claims to have been wrong, but in reality he wanted to cheat us, just as he will have it done to many other people. We will never go back and I advise everyone not to go there.

Good quality food. Good starters and first courses. Unfortunately the meat was really overcooked and the desserts were not amazing.
However, when asking people who had already been there, everyone agreed that the food is usually very good

17/11/2024: We came to this place almost as a last resort. Excellent surprise.
Characteristic with an open counter for meats, cured meats and fotmaggi.
Attentive and helpful service.
I haven't eaten such good and tasty meat in a long time.
Puree of broad beans and chard like grandma's, strips with delicious mushrooms, cut a little tough but with superlative meat.
The house wine alone deserves a return, not to mention the home-made focaccia.
Excellent value for money.

24/11/2024: Eccezionale. Cucina sublime. Tonio, lo chef, è davvero un professionista ai fornelli (a Melfi è sicuramente, di gran lunga, il migliore). Ristorante idoneo per tutte le esigenze della famiglia, o serate con amici, o pranzi di lavoro. Prodotti ottimi e freschissimi (nulla di surgelato, neanche le cotolette per i ragazzi, come spesso ci capita altrove). La cortesia e gentilezza di Manola, tra l'altro, sono esemplari. Sono anni che frequento questo locale, con la famiglia, amici o per affari, e non ha mai deluso, anzi con gli anni migliora di continuo. Rapporto qualità - prezzo decisamente ottimo. Favoloso. Da consigliare assolutamente.

The courtesy and kind and polite ways really struck me.
I am truly grateful to him.
The food was excellent and genuine.
I will definitely go back.
