16/07/2026: Calling it a trattoria is a bit of an understatement; many restaurants need to come here to learn how to serve, cook, and charge. The dishes were authentic and delicious; we had an appetizer and a first course, plus two beers and coffees, for just €17 each. Coming back from a bike ride in the Pollino Mountains, where everything was packed, this strategically located trattoria literally saved us! Highly recommended!

Il Maniero - ristorante pizzeria sala ricevimenti

20/08/2026: Beautiful location. And that's where the positives end. We ordered pizza at 9:15 PM and it was delivered at 10:45 PM! An hour and a half wait!!! Unbelievable!!!
Result: we ate the pizza while drinking warm beer, especially considering the heat!
Not to mention the fact that we had to wait an hour for two bottles of water, reminding them three times!!!
Definitely not recommended!
15/08/2026: Excellent experience. We arrived late, around 11 PM, yet the staff welcomed us and served us promptly. The pizza was excellent, and the service was excellent.

23/06/2026: At midday in June, everything in Valsinni was closed. We ended up there by chance, but sometimes, luck favors the brave.
We had a fantastic lunch: delicious products in a family-friendly atmosphere.
We'd never eaten such delicious peperoni cruschi: the waitress explained to us that the trick is to briefly sauté them in high-temperature oil.
The first courses were incredibly good: the cacio e pepe with truffle and peperoni cruschi deserves a special mention.
The second course, which we shared, was also very good: excellent quality meat cooked to perfection.
The desserts were delicious and unique.
The bill? More than fair: we paid about €60 total for two people.

La cantina del Buon Gusto

19/08/2024: Non ci siamo nemmeno seduti. Erano le 19:45 e alla nostra richiesta (se fosse possibile accomodarsi per mangiare con i bambini) l’oste ha risposto in maniera sgarbata che era troppo presto (lui era seduto al pc e la sala era ancora vuota) e che non avevamo nemmeno prenotato. Mi dispiace ma non è questo il modo di relazionarsi con il pubblico

24/08/2023: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante per caso arrivando in visita a Valsinni molto bello il borgo è molto particolare le varie sistemazioni per i tavoli abbiamo ordinato degli antipasti fuori zucchine fritte una puccia salsiccia del posto e alette speziate tutto molto buono
