19/08/2025: Il Pellicano has been a regular stop when I visit my sister in Umbria since 1998. When I was younger, I'd stop in for sandwiches and a beer; now I use it to pick up a delicious takeout pizza. The dough is well-made, well-risen (so much so that you won't wake up thirsty the next day), and the wide selection of flavors is worth trying. Recommended for anyone passing through the San Faticchio area and surrounding towns.

18/08/2025: We had dinner at Pellicano and, in addition to the generous portions, we were served by very friendly staff. The burgers and pizzas were excellent. Prices were average. I recommend it!

07/09/2025: Magnificent location and the food is truly excellent. The grilled meat is a taste experience. The staff is very friendly.

05/09/2025: We didn't stay at the hotel, but we tried the restaurant and it was a fantastic dinner. Excellent value for money, a truly charming dining room with an open grill. Fast and precise service, very kind and helpful staff. Everything we ate was delicious and of excellent quality, but the rosemary tagliata trumps everything else, truly exquisite, perhaps the best we've ever eaten. Highly recommended if you're in the area.

27/08/2025: A great find! Even though we don't eat meat, we had a great time with excellent pizzas and mixed fried vegetables. Highly recommended. I suggest expanding the wine list; it's too limited.

31/08/2025: Excellent experience...for the second time in years. Today, three of us had lunch. My son (8 years old), an excellent food critic, was very satisfied after tasting everything served and would have given it 10 stars if possible. The crostini were well-made and the first courses were truly mouth-watering 😋 The place was casual and clean. The service was friendly and impeccable. We'll definitely be back.

22/05/2025: A beautiful weekend in this charming farmhouse, immersed in the greenery of Umbrian nature. A place suitable for those who want to disconnect from the daily frenzy and reset their mind and body. The owners, always kind and helpful, Antonio and Tiziana, pampered us with entirely zero-mile products, telling us with sympathy and sincerity about their world and their choices, managing to convey the passion of those who take care of the restaurant by relying on carefully selected products to always guarantee quality and authenticity. No pre-packaged, industrial food. As it should be in every self-respecting farmhouse. The place is strategically positioned on a hill less than half an hour's drive from places like Perugia, Assisi, Gubbio. Highly recommended!

15/06/2025: Great experience. We had the meat (mixed braciolata, hamburger and pork steaks) and it was cooked on the grill very well. The potatoes, both baked and fried, were very good and the salad was well dressed, mixed and fresh. The girl who served us at the tables was very kind as was the kitchen worker. Honest prices. We will definitely be back

19/08/2025: I would've given it 5 stars but dessert really ruined it. The cheesecake was completely frozen. I could barely break it with the spoon. Easily the worst cheesecake I've ever had. I was going to tell the waiter when he came back with our wine. But he never brought the wine we ordered. Not that it would've mattered to tell them, it clearly came right out of the freezer and onto the plate, so they already knew they were serving it frozen.

16/07/2025: Beautiful place. Gradale Restaurant, Castello di Monterone. We ate truly quality food, the meat was exquisite! The restaurant staff was very attentive and helpful. We even took a tour there and it was fantastic. You can rent rooms. It's also great for ceremonies; in fact, there was a group of English people there who were celebrating their wedding the next day. Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful

16/03/2025: Despite being just steps from the highway (very convenient), you can't even hear the noise, and it feels like you're in the countryside. The place is very well-maintained, and the deli on the ground floor is truly interesting. Definitely worth considering if you're passing through, even just for a properly made sandwich!

29/07/2025: We had a delicious meal there. We started with a carpaccio, followed by a pizza and a delicious panna cotta. There were four of us, and we all enjoyed the delicious food. The service was very friendly. In short, a good restaurant and a good price. We went again this year and had delicious pasta.

14/07/2025: On the road from Chiusi to Castiglione del Lago, I pass through a small village called Moiano. The road is straight, and at a certain point I see a sign, almost hidden, that says "restaurant." My first thought was to go elsewhere, but then I thought, "Perhaps seeing the sign was a sign," and I decide to stop. The road runs alongside the restaurant and leads to a large parking lot. I go in and ask if there's room, and with all the kindness possible, they invite me outside. While I wait, a crowd of foreigners and Italians alike comes and goes, until I discover they also have rooms. I look at the menu and decide: Tuscan crostini, ossobuco, salad, water, and a glass of sparkling wine recommended by the owner. What can I say? I've found Tuscan cuisine in Umbria: old-fashioned handmade crostini, tender ossobuco with the callus and fat, a side dish of chopped carrots and other ingredients in a red sauce, and, most importantly, bone with marrow. Fair prices and quality of raw materials, I recommend you stop by if you pass by these parts, I forgot about the wood oven where they make both meat and pizzas.........by PIRAX

08/08/2025: Excellent pizzeria on the edge of a man-made lake, where you can also catch fish. In the summer, you can dine al fresco by the lake and enjoy an excellent pizza. Of course, there are a few mosquitoes around in the summer, but they don't ruin the atmosphere. You can also get pizza to go if needed. The atmosphere is also suitable for families and children, thanks to the outdoor playground. The staff is very helpful and friendly.

30/05/2025: Really. Great place discovered at the last minute. Fabulous matriciana. Beautiful, abundant, tender and tasty scallops. Simple cuisine. Like the housewives of old. Friendly staff. Easy-going.

01/09/2025: If the restaurant's goal is to offer traditional Umbrian cuisine, the result falls short. I'm sorry to have to leave a negative review, but I hope it's constructive. The quality of the ingredients is below average, as is the preparation and service. The menu offers more confusing than varied options. It's very popular, despite the gourmet prices, which I don't think are justified.

27/08/2025: The atmosphere was gloomy, more like an old mine than the Old West, with the dim light of a flashing lantern. I was able to read the menu thanks to the light from my cell phone...from there, things only got worse. I ordered a plate of cold chili and a taco with even colder cheese on top. The dishes didn't arrive, and when we pointed this out, they arrived immediately, cold, of course, because they'd been ready for who knows how long. The price is definitely too high. It's a Wednesday, not the weekend. I strongly advise against it.
