Restaurant - Grill Spuntloch

06/08/2026: A true highlight in Kaltern! As a motorcyclist on a road trip, I became aware of Spuntloch through the many positive reviews, and they didn't overpromise.
The steak was of outstanding quality and grilled to perfection. The side dishes and sauces were also excellent. The service was warm and attentive, and you feel welcome from the very first moment.
The stylish ambiance perfectly complements the experience. Anyone who loves good meat should definitely visit this restaurant. For me, it was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time.
Thank you for the wonderful evening; I'll gladly return on my next motorcycle tour! 🏍️🥩
04/08/2026: Everything here is just perfect! A lovely atmosphere in the vaulted cellar, incredibly friendly and attentive service, excellent advice on wines and dishes, and of course, fantastic food.
Even though the restaurant was packed, we felt that they always had time for us and wanted to give us the best possible experience. Sitting and eating right at the bar on the bench was unusual, but very pleasant, as we were always exceptionally well looked after.
The steaks were cooked to perfection and delicious, especially with the dip. The cheese platter and the sorbet were also divine.
We'll definitely be back!

12/06/2026: A charming, rustic atmosphere and excellent, friendly service. The food, whether meat or pasta, is of superb quality. The wine selection is fantastic. In summer, you can sit under a walnut tree. The highlight is probably the 1,000-gram Fiorentina T-bone steak.

25/08/2026: I was really surprised!! After a walk by Lake Carezza, we wanted to grab a quick bite to eat somewhere, and I saw this pop up on Maps. There is a huge selection; for starters, we had steak tartare and Wagyu pieces, and for the main course, we had spare ribs. You can taste that everything is prepared fresh; the spare ribs fell right off the bone. Most things are homemade, from the bread to the sauces. We had a truly delicious meal, the service was friendly, and the atmosphere was great! Definitely recommended!!
21/08/2026: I determined the calorie count for this restaurant using an app that scans my photos. The rolls were low in calories and tasted good. The space is very pleasant and quiet.

20/08/2026: A fantastic lodge nestled in the greenery of the Anna Valley. The owners are kind and welcoming, and the food is excellent; I recommend the barbecued dumplings. The atmosphere is beautiful, with an open grill where the menu's specialties are prepared. There's also a small play area for children.

12/08/2026: Amazing! The place is lovely, the service excellent, and the food delicious. They even included complimentary appetizers, and the staff was very attentive. I ordered the seafood risotto; it was plentiful and very tasty.

The entrance has a beautiful and very original decor; you feel like you're in an exhibition hall. The second room and the terrace are also very nice. I highly recommend it, but remember to book.

15/08/2026: A truly excellent place (somewhat hidden in the orchards, but well signposted) for really good, down-to-earth food. Specialties include roast chicken, pork knuckle, and spare ribs from the open grill, but of course, other dishes are also available. The staff is incredibly friendly! We highly recommend making a reservation.
The beer cellar is directly accessible by car, and parking is available. A visit can also be easily combined with a hike, for example, from Morter, via Montani Castle.

24/08/2026: I went to the restaurant on a friend's recommendation. They made me wait 40 minutes between courses; there was a group of people there, and they only served that one quickly. It's unpleasant to go to a restaurant where you're considered second-class patrons, especially since we paid the same as everyone else. They're not professional at all; at least they could have apologized for the delay.
23/08/2026: Truly perfect for a break away from the toll booth. It's become a place where I can sip my favorite bubbly with impeccable food and service.

We ordered the chef's starter which included a variety of dishes on a wooden platter. Each one was more delicious than the other. Mainly Angus beef (fillet) and another dish that was a real feast of flavors. For dessert we ordered a special panna cotta
