26/08/2024: A very warm and comfortable location, soft environment and lights, welcoming with warm notes, very attentive and welcoming staff with a unique kindness, let's move on to the dishes I took a variety of meats 12 types of meats to be cooked directly on the stone which they provide you at table, together with the grilled side dishes, everything is truly delicious, an experience that I recommend trying, craft beer on tap and homemade juniper grappa, highly recommended

25/08/2024: An excellent place, renovated a few years ago and therefore very beautiful also aesthetically. Interesting menu with the possibility of choosing either personal cooking on a lava plate brought directly to the table or cooking on the grill, furthermore there is a wide variety of cuts and types of meat to choose from, including very particular ones such as kangaroo. Very kind and professional staff. I highly recommend making a reservation because it is a very popular place and it is not easy to find a seat. The restaurant has some reserved parking spaces right in front, otherwise there are public parking spaces on the road just ahead The only downside for which I give 4 stars and not 5 are the prices, which in my opinion are a little high compared to the average of other similar places.

14/08/2024: Great location with delicious food. The service is friendly and attentive. In my opinion, some of the dishes are a bit too expensive. But we'd love to come back.

14/08/2024: Nice restaurant in the vaulted cellar. The food is beautifully prepared, friendly service. The food itself wasn't entirely convincing. Meat ordered medium comes out rather rare/bleu. The size of the dishes varies greatly; the large portion of risotto with quail is small in relation to the other main courses. Then add 5 or 6 euros instead of 3 and the size fits better. It tasted good. Desserts were very good. We'll try it again.

09/08/2024: Simply fantastic. We ate the Eirisch Burguer burger. Impeccable in preparation and ingredients. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is excellent. The price is also very good 12.50 Euros

08/08/2024: Mandatory stop when passing through Dobbiaco. The burgers are excellent (try the Eirisch) and the fried chicken is also very good. Always smiling staff. Spartan context because it has few seats but that's fine.

10/08/2024: THANKS!!! Dear Gamper family and also to all the waitresses (greetings especially to Michi) for the always great evenings with you. We stayed at the Kronenwirt at Easter 2024 and booked again at the end of September 2024. Really great apartments with services like a hotel with a very nice view over the Meran valley. According to my wife, the free Jura coffee machine is amazing. We ate at the Kronenwirt very often during all our stays. Simply very tasty food with incredibly nice hosts and the waitresses also live the “spirit” of friendliness and especially warmth. Me and my wife always feel completely at home here. Both Mr. and Mrs. Gamper are simply wonderful and very accommodating hosts and always do everything they can to make your return feel like coming home. I just took the trouble to look at all the Google reviews and I can't understand some of the negative ones. Of course it can take a while if all tables are occupied. You should also make a reservation in the evening. But why is it always full? The waitresses are always on the move quickly and always try everything to give the guest a very good feeling. I haven't experienced this in Germany for a long time. In any case, I'm on vacation and if it takes a little longer, that's not a problem because I have time. And that has never happened during my stays either. We definitely feel very comfortable here and look forward to coming back. 07/08/2024: Sono stata a cena con la mia famiglia in occasione del mio 40esimo compleanno. Un'accoglienza davvero speciale, come essere a casa! Cibo eccellente, ma l'ospitalità è davvero unica! 07/08/2024: We visited the pyramids of Segonzano and accidentally ended up at this nice bar. We were allowed to fill our drinking bottles with water and ice before we started the hike (spicy 🥵). Afterwards we had a very nice meal and drinks here. They use very high quality local products. The carpaccio and melon with Parma ham are highly recommended! 👌🏻The service was great! We also received recommendations about the region. Thank you Venar & team, we will definitely come back!

26/08/2024: Nice place, good food. good value for money... the only drawback is that mosquitoes will eat you outside... maybe use a good anti-mosquito system instead of spray...

15/08/2024: Nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. I had a traditional dish of beef and garlic beans and my partner had beef ribs. We were both thrilled. The meat was very good. And the staff was super nice too!

08/08/2024: Spectacular location with a wonderful view of Lake Caldaro and the vineyards. The style is very elegant and suggestive, even if the bathrooms are really TOO black. The menu is quite limited, but varied and the food excellent. There is also a lot of choice of cocktails (including non-alcoholic ones). Extremely friendly and kind service, shame it's really too slow. Other than that it's a real gem. To be recommended.
