06/01/2025: Excellent experience! Familiar and welcoming environment, extreme attention to our Bau friends, pampered with lots of love. We ate so well that we returned the next day. Excellent quality/price ratio.
05/01/2025: We ate in this typical Tuscan trattoria for dinner and then the next day we returned for lunch.
Typical and very good dishes, meat rigorously cooked rare and very tender, we ate with gusto.
The owner is very nice and loves dogs, the staff is kind and very attentive to the customer's needs.

28/12/2024: Abbiamo scelto questo ristorante perché volevamo prendere la ribollita. Siamo stati accolti bene e quasi subito hanno preso la nostra ordinazione,nel locale eravamo presenti noi tre e una coppia. Dai tavoli apparecchiati si deduceva che stavano aspettando due o tre comitive per un totale di almeno 30 persone.
Detto questo,ci siamo affrettati ad ordinare poiché eravamo stanchi e cenando presto saremmo ritornati in hotel.
Prendiamo 2 ribollite e una zuppa di fagioli, un bottiglia di acqua naturale,un galletto alla griglia e un contorno di patate. Per finire una porzione di cantucci e vino santo. Pagato 79 euro.
La qualità è buona,quantità e costo direi abbastanza adeguato considerando che ovunque i prezzi sono lievitati.
Siamo rimasti perplessi solo di una cosa,la scelta di servire la ribollita su piatti piani.
Quando è arrivata era già tiepida e dopo le prime cucchiaiate era praticamente fredda,questo ci ha costretto a finirla velocemente senza poterla gustare pian piano,assaporandone il gusto e scaldandoci ad ogni cucchiaiata.
Ecco, se abbiamo un suggerimento da fare,di mettere la ribollita in piatti tradizionali,in questo caso è meglio lasciare le innovazioni per altre preparazioni.
Ci torneremo sicuramente per le nostre prossime visite in zona.

Ristorante moderno, elegante e proposte molto accattivanti come menu.
Carni alla griglia fantastiche , con sapore tradizionale toscano. Pane nero e schiacciata da oscar.
Consiglio vivamente ( bambina sempre servita per prima , aspetto da non sottovalutare )

10/01/2025: In December we passed by this restaurant as we exited the motorway at Monte San Savino, heading to Lucignano.
We were attracted by the scent of grilled meat that we could smell as we approached.
We didn't look at the reviews and, even though we couldn't see the place (it was dark), the scent spoke for itself.
So we called and made a dinner reservation for two.
We arrived, it was raining, the dirt car park where we arrived with the navigator (I saw that in the dark) is not the best, but we are entering a restaurant, so the spirit is in easy mode.
As we approach the venue we notice many trucks in the parking lot below. And yes, for us the truck driver is a guarantee.
Seeing the gigantic plates passing by and being able to eat little, we opted for grilled Chianina fillet, I with lard.
Roasted potatoes on the side.
Meat cooked as requested, excellent.
Generous portion.
I can't resist and we also take a panna cotta for two (given the size). We struggle to finish it.
Having to drive I couldn't take wine, too bad, it was all there. My husband the house red, typical Tuscan. Discreet.
The bill commensurate with the quantity and type of meat, from a restaurant.
Accurate service, helpful and attentive staff.
Simple environment, perhaps a little chaotic. I don't like TV in clubs but I understand their presence.
A stop worth saving if you go that way.
I didn't see the bathroom, but I liked the open kitchen with the smells of good food.
We'll be back.

02/01/2025: Fantastic! I cannot describe in any other way the kindness with which they welcomed us (arriving after hours), the care and the taste of the food. They really deserve 5 stars. Excellent location near the motorway, ample parking, clean and non-smoky room despite the grill being exposed. There is an external veranda which will certainly be pleasant in summer. Friendly and approachable owners. We will certainly return. Thank you!

We had booked but due to an unexpected event caused by a serious health problem we had to show up to cancel and order takeaway pizzas but unfortunately he didn't even want to listen to us and invited us to leave the place.

05/11/2024: Visité este restaurante mientras estaba de vacaciones en Castiglion Florentino. Lamentablemente, el camarero que nos atendió fue extremadamente antipático. Nos dio un menú demasiado corto, no ayudó en absoluto cuando intentamos descifrar el menú (no hay opción en inglés disponible) y sirvió nuestros refrescos en latas sin vasos. También pedimos agua y él cerró las botellas en la mesa. A continuación, mi amigo pidió un cóctel y le dijeron que fuera a una parte diferente del edificio, ya que los cócteles no se servían en el restaurante - como no somos italianos, no entendimos y pedimos la bebida de nuevo. 5 minutos después la bebida fue golpeada sobre la mesa que derramó la bebida y lo hizo sin ningún reconocimiento y de una manera muy grosera y poco profesional. Otro amigo mío también trató de pedir su comida en italiano, en mi opinión esto fue burlado y respondió con un tono sarcástico que no sirven piña en la pizza - a pesar de pedir un plato de pollo y no mencionar nada sobre la piña o pizza. No estoy seguro si fue un comentario para resaltar nuestra nacionalidad en tono despectivo pero nos hizo sentir incómodos. Interactuó con las otras mesas de italianos de una manera amistosa, lo que destacó aún más la grosería que nos dio. Luego continuó caminando junto a nuestra mesa y volvió los ojos. Luego pedimos WiFi, una vez más respondió en un tono sarcástico. La comida que pedimos era completamente insatisfactoria. El plato de pollo de mi amigo era el corte más pequeño de pollo, hojas de col y sin salsa alguna (22€ . 00 ) . Las papas asadas también se quemaron con un frasco entero de orégano espolvoreado en la parte superior. También pedimos hamburguesas y no nos preguntaron cómo queríamos que se cocinara. Salieron carne picada muy roja y sin cocer y las patatas fritas eran patatas fritas de horno congeladas con dos sobres de salsa cada una (15€ . 00 por hamburguesa). Yo personalmente no podía comer el mío y tenía que comer alrededor del borde ya que era la única parte que se cocinaba. La pizza era dura como una roca con queso quemado alrededor del borde. Nuestro servidor nos dijo entonces que iba a la otra habitación y si necesitábamos algo debemos "gritar". A pesar de que continuó sirviendo a otras personas a nuestro alrededor. Luego le pedimos la factura y él respondió "para la factura vaya al bar y pida la mesa 8 " y se fue con bastante prontitud sin ningún reconocimiento de cómo encontramos nuestra comida - simplemente se fue. También olía a baño en todo el restaurante. En general, el peor restaurante que visitamos esta semana.
15/10/2024: abbiamo preso tutti la Pizza e siamo rimasti molto soddifatti, impasto friabile e gustoso, ingredienti di buona qualità. potrei solo suggerire una birra Rossa piu intensa, magari una Leffe, ma sono gusti personali

05/01/2025: We have been there twice, the first time we ate a very good cut of steak, too bad it is served on cold plates so we asked to heat it up. The second time the lampredotto sandwich was a negative experience, the sandwich was burnt on the outside and soggy inside, the lampredotto had to be looked for with a magnifying glass. It's a shame because the place is nice.
29/12/2024: I'm here after about 6 years since the last time
The place has not changed (nor should it be changed in my opinion) in vintage style.
The meat is on display in the butcher's display case.
The Chianina rib is good as are the side potatoes
Average prices in Chianina range from €55 per rib to €60 per kilo for Florentine steak

08/12/2024: Rich, varied and high-quality appetizers, truly excellent pizza with a light dough that doesn't weigh you down, and the last highlight is the trifle that felt like it was homemade, like it used to be and you can't find anything as good around here.
We'll be back!!
