10/08/2025: We stayed at the property from August 4th to 8th and had a wonderful time. The location is enchanting, surrounded by nature and with a panoramic view of the city.
Everything was very well-kept and clean, the breakfast was good, and the restaurant's food was excellent.

13/07/2025: We ate two evenings at this charming trattoria. The quality of the ingredients and the house red wine were excellent. We can recommend the appetizers, first courses, and meat dishes. We also recommend the amazing panna cotta dessert with real strawberry sauce and whipped cream. For the price, we'd say a generous appetizer shared between two, two meat dishes with sides, a liter of red wine, and dessert cost us €60 for two. The staff was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Reservations are required.

They are not flexible with the cooking point of the meat... But honestly, I get it

07/07/2025: Rustic place with very kind staff and excellent meat. Absolutely not to be missed for those traveling on the A1 in the Arezzo area.
Monte San Savino motorway exit, with a large parking lot right outside. We will also return on the way back north.

17/07/2025: Us four humble and hungry English boys rambled into this restaurant and were rolled out. A panoply of booze and a cacophony of delightful grub was enjoyed.
The service was exceptional and they catered for our every whim, no matter how extensive or avant-garde. The tuscan white beans were a particular highlight, with a balance of flavours so delicate it felt as though it could fall apart any moment - class.
Thank you Osteria Del Cacciatore for the ragu, the pizza, the vino and - most pertinently - the memories.

21/08/2025: Excellent pizzas, the pappardelle with ragù was really good. The pizza menu pleasantly surprised me; I'd never seen one with finocchiona. The coffee served in these cups is top notch.

Lorena, Andrea, and Matteo are wonderful. They pampered and accommodated us, even with Zoe.

04/06/2025: Locale molto carino situato nella parte bassa di Castiglion Fiorentino. Ci siamo recentemente stati a cena, ma essa è stata un po' fuori dai canoni, in quanto siamo passati direttamente dall'antipasto al dolce!
Ciò si spiega perché abbiamo appunto ordinato il loro antipastone per due, al quale volevamo far seguire degli hamburger... ma il gentilissimo cameriere, molto onestamente, ci ha sconsigliato dal farlo, stante l'"abbondanza" dell'antipasto... e ha avuto pienamente ragione!
Oltre che per la quantità, antipastone promosso a pieni voti pure per la qualità - e stesso dicasi dei dolci. 👌
Ovviamente ci torneremo quanto prima per provare la loro rinomata "ciccia" e le loro pizze!

Proprietaria gentilissima e.....piatti da favola tipici della cucina aretina.
Il top (per me):primi con i funghi,coniglio in porchetta,tagliata...ma ,credetemi,anche gli altri piatti in me u' devono essere eccezzionali.
01/02/2025: Pranzo veloce, crostini misti toscani e mezza porzione di Pici per ciascuno (ragù rosso e ragù bianco), cibo genuino atmosfera molto alla buona.
Ottimo per un pasto rapido senza grandi pretese per il posto ma molto consigliato per il cibo e le porzioni decisamente abbondanti.
Consigliato.

19/01/2025: Abbiamo ordinato 7 pizze da asporto. Solo quando siamo arrivati a casa ci siamo resi conto che le pizze erano tutte carbonizzate, le basi sembravano precotte, praticamente non commestibili. Pessimo, mai più!
