31/08/2024: Very disappointed with the welcome in this restaurant, unpleasant owner and upside down staff, very rustic terrace along the very busy main road, not even having time to finish as we already had the bill, thank goodness the meat was well cooked, the meats were also good chips, 87 euros for a Florentine steak, a fillet of scottona, 3 chips, a salad and a bottle of wine.

18/07/2024: Arrivati e subito fatti accomodare. In un istante servito al tavolo piccolo antipasto della casa, le bevande arrivano dopo 10 minuti.
Immediatamente dopo arrivano le patatine fritte che avrebbero dovuto fare da contorno alla carne, servita dopo mezz’ora.
Tutto molto confuso, esperienza deludente
17/07/2024: Excellent meal. Truly a great find. A few blocks outside the old town of Lecce near the Napoli gate. Choose the meat you want inside the restaurant then take your seat at the assigned table where you order drinks and sides. So, not a “typical” restaurant, but worth it for the delicious food!

30/07/2024: Siamo venuti qui in gita con la scuola e non ci siamo trovati per niente bene, innanzitutto riempivano le bottiglie già usate, la pasta all'interno era bianca e io nella mia salsiccia ho trovato un pelo.
Spero di esservi stato utile

29/07/2024: Ho letto altre recensioni e credo che altri utenti le scrivono solo per dare fiato alla bocca senza azionare il cervello. Chiaramente è tipico di chi non conosce la cucina e non ne apprezza il valore. Devo dire che oltre al posto incantevole e sobrio la professionalità del personale ha fatto la differenza. Per quanto riguarda i piatti nulla da dire Abbondanti, ben curati ma soprattutto molto saporiti come vuelta la tradizione pugliese. Bravi, complimenti,continuate così perché non avete nulla da invidiare a ristoranti rinomati perché la vostra cucina eccelle.

22/08/2024: Il giorno 21 si tornava a casa e la sera del 20 agosto volevamo chiudere in bellezza la nostra vacanza con una bella cena. Oltre ad essere stata bella devo dire che è stata soprattutto buona per l’ottima qualità del cibo e la bontà dei piatti ordinati. La cena è stata inoltre accompagnata dalla simpatia dei titolari Sigg.ri Ivana e Claudio che tra una battuta spiritosa e un racconto di vita vissuta ci hanno fatto sentire come “a casa di amici”. Lo consigliamo!
22/08/2024: Abbiamo chiamato alle 14 e benché il sig. Claudio e la sig.ra Ivana, I due titolari, stessero chiudendo, ci hanno aspettato ed hanno riaperto per noi.
Siamo stati accolti calorosamente, con il sig. Claudio che si è intrattenuto al tavolo raccontandoci la storia del suo locale e anche un po’ di vita vissuta.
Abbiamo mangiato orecchiette maritate alle cime di rapa, e purè di fave servito con cicoria buonissima, e concluso con sorbetto al limone.
Tutto rigorosamente fatto in casa e dal sapore veramente gustoso.
Un pranzo semplice ma davvero appagante.
In definitiva i titolari trasmettono una grande passione e cura per il loro lavoro e i loro piatti ne sono un risultato naturale.
Bravi, torneremo presto ad assaggiare la carne!

09/08/2024: We went to eat last night. NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. We had a barbecue for two people and it was very poor. Then I asked for some bread and the guy told me he was out of it but he could see what he could do. He brought me a basket with taralli pizza and slices of baguette. It was dry, a slice of baguette was bitten, it had exactly the shape of the bite and the pizza was missing a few pieces. Complaining to the boy he told me sorry and it's my fault we're without bread and I told him you took it from the bucket, pissed off, he nodded apologizing that it was his fault I'll leave it alone so as not to get to blows. I go to pay and I see on the grill the bread with which they were making bruschetta, the clever people hadn't finished it and they profited from what they were toasting and they brought me the bread recycled by others. Terrible experience, I had to call the right people but in the end my girlfriend made me give in even from the argument itself. Poor hygiene
09/08/2024: It's not easy to find a place there. It's better to be patient, but it's worth it for meat and charcuterie lovers. The service is fast, sometimes a little too fast in the sense that you need a little thought to choose your dish. Obviously eating on a cobbled street is not always easy because the tables can be wobbly. I admit that I'm not a fan of eating on a busy street, but I managed to ignore it and had a pleasant time both times we went there for dinner. The ribs taste delicious thanks to the herb mixtures. My piece of beef was tender as can be. The dishes are rather generous. A digestive walk is essential when leaving this good address.

22/12/2023: Disorganizzazione e personale improvvisato. Capisco che sono in fase di rodaggio, ma aspettare due panini un'ora , significa avere dei grossi problemi in cucina che appare anche piccola rispetto ad altre simili strutture. Basta poi guardare il personale in cucina per capire che manifestano smarrimento di continuo. Aspettiamo la fine del rodaggio e dei responsabili.....più....responsabili

27/07/2023: Nothing that was ordered was brought. Fillet 30.00 had to be Argentinian and rare. When I informed the manager the cook responded. We don't have Argentine meat and cooking it rare was difficult in the kitchen we had a temperature of 80 degrees. The usual southerners who want to make fun of people even if they make them look ignorant

Pizza molto buona cotta in forno a legna e hamburger TOP con varie opzioni di scelta e salse.

01/09/2023: We heard good things about this place (seemingly before they changed owners).
My partner ordered the blue cheese burger which wasn’t apparent that it was blue cheese on the menu. The cheese was also meant to be a sauce. It was just sliced blue cheese that hadn’t even melted.
I ordered the mayonnaise, cheese and caramelised onion burger which was the most expensive at €11.
It was ironic that this was the most expensive as it was the most basic. The meat was cheap (pre made) the bun was dry and the onions weren’t caramelised - just cooked in a pan. The burger was so undercooked that I was unable to eat half of it.
It was all made with no love. It was reminiscent of a burger truck at the side of the road or a fun fair. Very cheap.
The mayonnaise was being charged at €0.50 for a small heinz sachet… really?
The waitress was on a different planet. So unobservant - especially as there were only 4 other tables seated. After leaving our trays at the edge of the table with her just standing watching the screen the whole time, we had to get her attention to get her to clear our food. Same with the bill.
For €40 for 2 crap burgers, chips (which were actually the best thing about our meal) and two beers I think is silly considering the quality of the food, how the food was cooked and the service. Very disappointing

25/02/2024: Abbiamo passato una piacevolissima serata in compagnia di amici in questo posto molto carino.. sembra quasi di stare in uno chalet in montagna.. piatti deliziosi e presentati bene..carne squisita e cotta al punto giusto, verdure ottime latticini di ottima qualità...cura nei dettagli e personale preparato e gentile!!
05/01/2024: Locale molto semplice. Qualità della carne ottima, e bei piatti.
Ritorneremo perché siamo soddisfatti.
