26/01/2025: Here a few days ago. I took 2 sptriz, nothing phenomenal and with little presence of prosecco, and 2 lasagna with radicchio, decent but with a low quality-price ratio. Bar in the square, easily accessible but not great for hygiene. The staff was on average courteous.

From the first entrance, you can perceive the attention to detail: candles that create a magnificent soft light, modern and elegant furnishings with attention to the smallest details, and the friendliness of Ale and Simo who manage to combine professionalism and warmth in the place. The wine selection is simply excellent. The wine shop offers a wide range of labels, from great Italian classics to lesser-known treasures from local wineries. A few days ago from the date of publication, I went to the place to ask for water and have a coffee, which was really delicious and the kindness of the staff in giving me hot water, I loved it. Inadvertently, after paying for a very cheap coffee because of how delicious it was, I forgot my wallet on a table. By communicating with them, we coordinated shipping to a hotel in Rome, where I stayed for 3 days. The happiness of receiving the wallet that my sister gave me has no name. Only words of gratitude and joy for the San'Antonio Padova caffè. An affectionate greeting, and eternally grateful. Mariano

04/04/2025: Awesome little pasticceria with an amazing selection of pastries, tasty sandwiches, bold coffee, and fresh-squeezed orange juice. The vibe is a bit hectic—people rushing in and out like it's a pastry emergency—but that just adds to the charm. Tiny space, big flavors. Definitely worth the stop!

18/11/2024: I've been in Padua last week for a meeting and having some sparetime, we had a walk in the old town and found this nice wine bar very close to Piazza delle erbe. We had some cicchetti (the venetian version of tapas), tasty and nicely presented, and drunk a couple of wine and drinks with friends and colleagues. Remarkable the warm welcome of both the bartender and waitress, together with the excellent prices. A nice spot for a wine or two in a relaxing atmosphere

08/03/2025: Quattro Prof si trovano qua al Portego. Per me è stata una scoperta! Servizio ottimo. La portata della coscia d'oca non trova confronti come sapori e bontà! I dolci squisiti. L'unica cosa che non mi torna è il fatto che di venerdì c'erano pochi clienti. Mah? Se preferite andare in postacci e mangiare male... contenti voi.

26/02/2025: Ogni volta che sono a Cittadella vengo sempre qui, da anni. Uno dei posti del cuore....qui potrai "stare bene', gustare cucina veneta preparata con ingredienti di grande qualità, la carne in particolare. Poi la mitica coscia d'oca di Martino, la gaijna in saor, il bacalà alla vicentina, i ragù di cortile, le costate, le giardiniere.....Un posto decisamente particolare, dove l'architettura d'ambiente (Portego di nome e di fatto) ed il personale creano atmosfera personalissima. Il titolare, poi, il Signor Martino, è persona esperta e scrupolosa nella scelta delle materie prime ed è cuoco di grande capacità e simpatia, con quel pizzico di eclettismo che lo rende un personaggio affabile, gentile, divertente, curioso ma sempre con rispetto. Tanti complimenti Martino!

02/11/2024: Mediocre place in a degraded context with the classic alcoholic who disposes of it in front of the entrance. €4 for a "tassoni" without ice obviously served with ice directly in a glass. You pay at the checkout but the receipt is optional.

20/03/2025: I have often stopped at this place, visibly nice, but lately I find it really scandalous, both in the service offered, and in the quality-price ratio. In addition, I came across a horrifying and out of place scene, when I believe it was the owner who violently inveighed against an employee, leaving the customers with astonished looks. Lately he has been continuously changing employees, leaving the quality of the service to be desired.

11/03/2025: Excellent pastry shop with high quality products that satisfy the eyes and palate. At lunchtime it transforms into a small restaurant offering delicious and original dishes. The service is affected by the high turnover that characterizes the entire sector these days, however we have always found kind, efficient and fast guys. We often frequent it for an aperitif which, accompanied by some cicchetti, can transform into a tasty light meal. The prices are aligned with the good quality of the products. It is one of our go-to places that we always like to frequent.

16/03/2025: Perfect place for those who perhaps have problems with alcohol and would like to indulge in non-alcoholic drinks; I really enjoyed my Campari spritz (5€) totally free of Campari!
