23/07/2026: Breakfast bar in a great location, we've had a great breakfast here twice. The servers speak English, the food is delicious, the coffee is great! The doppio here always brightened up the start of the day.
30/06/2026: Historic location. Very friendly staff. Fast and excellent food. Large terrace overlooking the Piazza della Frutta and the Palazzo della Ragione.

29/11/2025: I'm sorry to give a less than stellar review because my toast was half-burnt, and the owner served it as if nothing had happened. The quality of the food wasn't the best... it's a shame because I searched for this place on maps to trust them, but from what I found today, it's barely passable. You have potential; you're on the main road leading to Padua; make the most of your location!

30/03/2026: This morning I went for breakfast, choosing this bar over the new one next door, and I ordered a simple cream croissant and a cappuccino, the worst choice of my life...
The croissant was flat, as if something heavy had landed on it, and it seemed old from the day before, while the cappuccino was made with foam that had been made who knows how long ago (in fact, the cappuccino was cold)...
The tramezzini, moreover, have shrunk over time and now seem like overpriced cicchetti.
In the end, the only nice thing is the location, especially during the spring and summer, when you can sit under the trees in the university area.

Frozen croissants!!
11/06/2026: I think this place is wonderful! It has an old-world atmosphere, elegant and magical, adorned with classical music.
It's particularly charming at Christmas.
The owner also has refined poetic talents.

18/12/2025: Although the atmosphere is very pleasant, I had a terrible experience at a graduation party. I repeatedly mentioned that one person had allergies to eggplant and mushrooms, and one to gluten. I was told that they wouldn't use the mushrooms and eggplant and that the celiac girl would be brought a special plate of cured meats just for her. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! Two different cicchetti contained mushrooms and eggplant (luckily we tasted them first, just to be safe). We reported this, but nothing was done. The cured meats plate for the celiac girl was placed in the center, and obviously, people didn't know, so it was contaminated. This was also reported, and nothing was done!
Also, the portions were very small.

26/04/2026: Terrible experience. Six of us went for an afternoon aperitivo. Two orders were misplaced, and when we got the bill, we were told we had to pay for things we hadn't ordered. The cashier then said, "I'm so sorry you don't even remember what you ordered." To avoid arguments, we paid without hesitation and left. The spritz was definitely not among the best we've ever had.
26/04/2026: The lady at the counter was extremely unpleasant, rude, and unprofessional from start to finish. She responded coldly, was abrupt, and displayed an annoyed attitude even for simple requests from all the customers. Working with the public requires good manners and courtesy, especially if people ask questions politely.

11/06/2025: Closed for over a month, it will reopen with a new project (so says the sheet displayed on the entrance door).
We hope for an improvement.
Cappuccino and coffee are decent but expensive, €2.30 and €1.60 respectively.
A really sore point, the service: poor.

22/04/2026: Three coffees and three glasses of water cost a whopping €9.90. Charging €2.00 for a glass of water is pure speculation, a price that's completely unreasonable for such a service in Padua.
