29/11/2025: I'm sorry to give a less than stellar review because my toast was half-burnt, and the owner served it as if nothing had happened. The quality of the food wasn't the best... it's a shame because I searched for this place on maps to trust them, but from what I found today, it's barely passable. You have potential; you're on the main road leading to Padua; make the most of your location!

10/09/2025: Good slice of pizza and good soy cappuccino, plus the lady who served us was very nice.

14/10/2025: Good coffee and pastries. Nice place.

04/07/2025: S l o w as hunger. Never go to lunch without giving notice 2 days in advance. A sandwich takes a good quarter of an hour. Bah

14/03/2026: A nice café with delicious sweet pastries and a small selection of savory items. We had Mediterranean pretzel paninis, which were good, and a chocolate brioche, which was very good. The cappuccino was also excellent.

30/01/2026: The cafe is beautiful, the service is nice, but unfortunately the tiramisu was really bad. It was dry, felt like it was old, at least 5 days old I would say. I could not even finish it, although tiramisu is my favorite dessert. It was not traditional tiramisu, but something like a tiramisu cake, which was not good. The coffee was pretty nice too, but at the end when I got the receipt It was really upsetting to see that tiramisu I couldn’t even finish was 6,50€

11/01/2026: A must-see for an aperitivo in Padua's Piazza della Frutta. A welcoming, well-decorated place, bursting with color during this holiday season. The tramezzini are special; I recommend the tuna ones.

28/11/2025: A place of perdition for good intentions, because those who enter will be tempted beyond their wildest dreams. I've tried the breakfast several times (to make the sample meaningful), which is a parade of delicious options. Continuing to highlight the winning products by merit, my first choice is La Speciale (coffee-flavored bread with cooked cream and apricots). Whoever thought of adding coffee to the brioche dough should be recognized as a benefactor. Whoever thought of pairing this base with the cooked cream and apricot duo should receive an honor. Second place goes to the brioche with cooked cream. Third place goes to the chocolate financiers, which would fall under the category of tray sins, but are a quick, Michelin-starred breakfast, the perfect companion to coffee. The place also offers savory indulgence (mini pizzas, super sandwiches, assorted savory snacks). Everything can be enjoyed sitting inside or outside overlooking Prato della Valle😍. The only downside...the service isn't very cheerful (it can be worked), but what they serve makes you forget everything. I can't wait to come back 🤩😎

24/10/2025: Yesterday afternoon, October 23, 2025, I visited Pasticceria Tombolato. Even though I was there to shelter from the rain, I could already sense the welcoming and delightful atmosphere of the place, with its flowers, sofas, and a counter filled with countless sweets and pastries of a thousand colors and shapes, so tempting. But the person who welcomed and served us was also delightful, despite there being fifteen of us. She was kind, witty, and ready to take orders and accommodate everyone. The quality of the food and drinks was excellent. Beautiful mugs and cups. In short, an experience worth repeating more often. Hear, hear, tourists, visitors, and locals, stop by Pasticceria Tombolato for a coffee and a babà. Olga from Trani

18/12/2025: Although the atmosphere is very pleasant, I had a terrible experience at a graduation party. I repeatedly mentioned that one person had allergies to eggplant and mushrooms, and one to gluten. I was told that they wouldn't use the mushrooms and eggplant and that the celiac girl would be brought a special plate of cured meats just for her. THAT WAS NOT THE CASE! Two different cicchetti contained mushrooms and eggplant (luckily we tasted them first, just to be safe). We reported this, but nothing was done. The cured meats plate for the celiac girl was placed in the center, and obviously, people didn't know, so it was contaminated. This was also reported, and nothing was done! Also, the portions were very small.

20/07/2025: Excellent experience at this bar! The drinks were delicious and fun, perfect for a special evening. The bartender, a very friendly and welcoming woman, made the atmosphere even more enjoyable. The atmosphere had a great vibe, relaxed yet lively. I'll be back!

23/06/2025: Αξιοπρεπές εστιατόριο, το φαγητό ήταν καλό αλλά όχι τα κρασιά σε ποτήρι. Το περιβάλλον είναι ωραίο και η εξυπηρέτηση καλή.

21/05/2025: Ristorante nel pieno centro cittadino. Location indubbiamente carina e di atmosfera. Prima nota negativa: c'è un pianista al centro della sala che suona (nei weekend sicuramente) e si fa fatica a parlare. Personale giovane ma ,seppur gentile,abbastanza inesperto. Piatti parecchio deludenti: in sè e per sè non "cattivi" ma privi di gusto. Pasta alla gricia DA DIMENTICARE Tartare assolutamente NEGATIVA: non preparata davanti al tavolo come di consuetudine e assolutamente povera di condimento. Una delusione totale. Il filetto alla Wellington unico piatto oltre la sufficienza. Dolci nella media. Buona la cantina ma prezzi piuttosto alti. Conto troppo alto. Da evitare.

24/10/2025: Cappuccino and croissant €3.30. If you'd like to sit down, your order will be placed on a tray and you can sit wherever you like. Several colorful tables outside as well. The café is located opposite the Chemistry Department and on a side street off Via Jappelli. It's super crowded at lunchtime. The staff is very friendly and smiling.

26/09/2025: Macchiatone with non-existent foam

03/03/2026: We went into the cafeteria at 9:15 in the morning and asked what they had for breakfast. They were very rude and asked if we spoke Spanish, right? My husband said yes, because we were Spanish, and they told us they practically didn't have anything left because they were already using sandwiches. We left and found another cafeteria next door with lots of people having breakfast. DO NOT GO TO THAT CAFETERIA!!

22/02/2026: THIS MORNING, I had breakfast, she made me pay 2 euros for a coffee, because I sat down at a small table, since there was no space, I don't allow myself to be pressed next to a gentleman, who was standing, and in the end I asked why 2 euros, because you were sitting at the table,,, ok, I replied, but in this case, it's not that she served me, of course, I sat down, because I had no other choice, qomuncue, education 0,,, small bar, and not even in the center of Padua, I'll take it, with table service I always pay 1.80

11/06/2025: Closed for over a month, it will reopen with a new project (so says the sheet displayed on the entrance door). We hope for an improvement. Cappuccino and coffee are decent but expensive, €2.30 and €1.60 respectively. A really sore point, the service: poor.

26/02/2026: The barista brought coffees to two customers sitting at a table, while she placed them on the counter for me and the person I was with. Perhaps you need a pedigree to be served like the others? A little honesty and friendliness wouldn't hurt. Luckily, there are other places nearby.

20/02/2026: The staff is rude to say the least.

06/01/2026: Good chocolate, poor cream. Good service, intimate atmosphere, but Christmas decorations could be improved.

03/01/2026: The most horrible hot chocolate I've ever had in my life. Water with starch and a teaspoon (if only!) of cocoa for 5 euros. If you don't respect your guests, at least out of respect for yourself, you shouldn't sell such horrible drinks. Never again.

10/02/2026: Super friendly. A great cappuccino for only €1.80

31/12/2025: The service was bad, the drinks were very average, and they acted like they didn't understand us. Three different people came to take our order, each asking how we wanted it done. We got up and left.
