12/02/2026: The vegetable soup made with vegetables from their garden is delicious, and the hazelnut cake is exquisite. The dishes are also suitable for those with food intolerances. They are friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

21/02/2026: Want to experience a South Tyrolean pub with heart and the owner behind the bar? Then this is the place for you. From Italian coffee culture with latte art to a unique beer selection (IPAs) and the obligatory but excellent bacon, they have it all. We had breakfast here for two days and were simply overwhelmed by the delicious portions. Everything was served and managed by an incredibly charming owner who keeps an eye on everyone and caters to every request with exceptional grace. You wouldn't guess it from the outside, but we were so happy to have been guests here.

11/03/2026: A lovely café and pastry shop; we even got seats for eight people. The selection of cakes was extensive. A wonderful atmosphere. The team is well-organized and friendly. The new pralines (Dololine) are also delicious, offering a taste of alpine meadows. The price was good for coffee and cake. We'll be back. A solid 5 stars!

08/03/2026: During the Carnival period and shortly afterward, they make traditional Krapfen, the best in the entire area, including Merano! They also offer a wide selection of excellent cakes. Prices are average, and perhaps the only flaw is the coffee, which isn't quite up to par with the desserts; that needs some work.

08/03/2026: We stopped for lunch. The staff were friendly and the place was welcoming. The dishes were excellent and plentiful. The venison and rabbit were good, as were the strudels.

08/12/2025: We had lunch at Cantuccio on Sunday and had a wonderful time. The owner welcomed us with great kindness and offered an excellent wine for an aperitif. Everything was delicious: the locally produced cured meats, the egg with white truffle, the passatelli with porcini mushrooms, the mezzelune pasta stuffed with meat and truffle (the latter truly exceptional!), and the red wine chosen by the owner to accompany it. We appreciated every detail, even the background music. Excellent value for money! Highly recommended!

27/10/2025: Dinner with 14 people! The host is fantastic, the hospitality and good food are truly top notch! Dinner took a bit long, but everyone was super friendly! Highly recommended and highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

11/02/2026: Bad experience. We booked ahead. When we arrived, they told us we had to sit in the basement... my friend, who had been there before, asked if she could have one of the remaining tables on the main floor, but they annoyed us. So they seated us in an area on the left side of the entrance, which was really annoying from an acoustic standpoint, as well as visually very different from the "mountain" atmosphere we'd chosen when booking here, as well as upstairs, for an evening of conversation. It felt like the child from the table next to us was sitting at the table because of the terrible acoustics (no doubt because there's a vaulted ceiling there that bounces noise back into the center). We asked to be moved. The extremely annoyed waiter went up to call the manager, who came to us and, after our insistence, moved us to the basement. The acoustics there were acceptable. The waiter was brusque and impatient when he took our order... it looked like they'd already sold out... but it was only 7:25 PM!! They brought us a pizza, then he said it wasn't ours, which can happen, so he took it away annoyed. Finally, he brought another... while we were cutting it, he came back and said it wasn't ours... at which point we said it was fine anyway, never mind. Halfway through the evening, the manager was polite and asked if everything was okay. Finally, the waiter came back for dessert, with the menu, and we said we didn't want it. A waitress came back and asked if we wanted dessert, we said no, and I can't describe the annoyed and rude look on the girl's face, who then walked away. For two salads and a pizza, we spent 65 euros. We won't be returning. The food was good, though; perhaps the price was a bit high, but if you eat well and in a nice location, it's reasonable. In a basement, with the rudeness of the staff and all that confusion, however, we felt it was excessive.

09/02/2026: Restaurant serving traditional cuisine and excellent pizzeria. Locally brewed beers are also available. Excellent, fast, and attentive service.

10/03/2026: We were the first to arrive for lunch, and were served after others who sat down after us. I'm not arguing, but the dishes we received were cold and very tasteless, unfortunately. The quality was there, but with nine tables, they could have put a lot more effort into the service.

17/02/2026: Lunch at the Alla Segheria restaurant has been a regular stop for many years. The food is always excellent and of the highest quality. The atmosphere is very pleasant and quaint.

22/12/2025: A trusted place, with excellent products and knowledgeable and very friendly staff! I recommend the Depende coffee (a must-try!), which I'll leave with a lasting impression. 😍

06/11/2025: We went there for pizza in the evening. The service was quick and friendly, and the pizzas were excellent. The dessert was equally delicious. All the drinks we had were good – what more could a vacationer ask for?!? Right by the small harbor, a wonderful location. Highly recommended.

16/03/2026: An excellent place in ortesi to grab a bite to eat. I ordered the Spiitzer tyrolean gnocchi with a Bendediktner wheat beer. Then had the hot amore for dessert. Everything tasted wonderful even the bread they provided before the meal

03/03/2026: Staff was exceptionally rude. After waiting for 5 minutes at the front they finally responded to us and instructed us to wait for 2 minutes as they were setting up a table for us. At least 10 to 15 minutes go by of us standing at the front and the table still had not been made. Not only did they seem extremely understaffed but they ended up giving another two guests a table before us (unsure if they had booked prior or not because they spoke a language I didn’t understand). There were many free tables available. They could have said no, we cannot give a table unless you book. But they told us to wait for two minutes, only for us to be standing for 15 as other people got tables. Gave me the impression business was running poorly, so they grabbed us and told us to wait as soon as we got there 🤷‍♀️ Very poor service, I don’t recommend unless you book prior. Very rude, clear communication could have mitigated this issue. Its a shame because the food smelt delicious but apparently its overpriced anyway 🤣

23/02/2026: My husband and I were blown away by the food and service at Sotriffer. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The service was warm and attentive, and the food was exceptional. You can tell so much care and intention goes into every single dish. The deconstructed apple strudel was incredible as well as the sheep’s milk ricotta- the flavors worked together so seamlessly. My husband and I left feeling so taken care of. They didn’t miss a single detail. When I will recommend everyone to dine at this restaurant.
