Bar Cantuccio In Vermiglio

We were greeted with such kindness and appreciated the welcome glass of prosecco, especially the non-alcoholic cocktail for our child, who was able to toast with us. The revisited spaghetti aglio olio e peperoncino (a garlic, oil, and chili pepper dish), the tomato-filled pasta, and the wine selection were excellent. The local grappa offered to us at the end of the meal was also very good. The restaurant is simple but welcoming, and the music selection made our dinner even more enjoyable.

We found this place somewhat by chance, but we couldn't have made a better choice. It's a cute place with outdoor seating, delicious food, and the owner is super helpful and attentive! I highly recommend it!

We stopped by on Sunday, May 31st, on our way back from visiting Brancaleoni Castle. We called to see if it was open and if we could bring our dog. The owners were very kind. The dishes were delicious. We ordered a platter of typical cured meats and cheeses with local jams and crescia. Fantastic! The cappellacci pasta dishes were very good. Fresh pasta. We asked for some cold cuts for our Jack and the owner brought us 200g of ossocollo and mortadella. The second course, Tutto nel Pane (Everything in Bread): Fantastic, basically pieces of chicken with diced penduline mushrooms, garlic, and arugula, all in a delicious homemade sandwich made by the owner. We recommend the place, open on weekends with vintage vinyl music. We had lunch on the terrace. Thank you.

A little hidden gem!! Excellent food, we had a platter of cured meats and cheeses with amazing jams and a delicious crescia that I'll dream about for the rest of my life! The owners are two very nice and easy-going guys, they made me a lactose-free version of cappelletti alla boscaiola with no problem. Excellent service, with really pleasant conversation that showed us all about the passion and commitment these guys put into it! Clean premises, a relaxed atmosphere with great music. Dogs welcome 🐶
