21/07/2024: Di ritorno dal Sentiero dei Masi, immersi nel verde della Valle di Pejio, ci fermiamo a pranzo. Grande impressione già da fuori. Tipico agriturismo tranquillo e lontano dal turismo di massa. Sono quei locali che vanno cercati e conservati… cibo genuino e tradizionale, ospitalità e gentilezza. Una bella scoperta e un super consiglio!

15/07/2024: La mia ragazza ed io siamo stati a mangiare in questo agriturismo dopo essere scesi dalla passeggiata dei masi! E devo dire che abbiamo fatta davvero un’ottima scelta. Abbiamo provato gnocchi di ricotta e spezzatino con polenta e funghi! Davvero ottimo, si scioglieva in bocca. Inoltre, da amanti dei gatti, abbiamo apprezzato la presenza di questi animali durante il nostro pranzo. Conto giusto Consiglio a tutti

04/01/2024: Il locale non si discute com pure il panorama tutto splendido, ma l‘isteria dei prezzi sta arrivando in quota.. 3,70 per un sacchetto di pane con tre fette di bianco, tre di integrale e qualche pezzo di Schüttelnrot, peraltro necessari per le zuppe, li trovo decisamente eccessivi. Da rivedere…

10/12/2023: Buono il cibo , ottimo il servizio , bellissime le poltroncine da prendere il sole fuore . Da migliorare il discorso tavoli hanno tanti tavoli grandi e ti trovi tante famiglie in un tavolo

27/07/2024: Ein kleines super unscheinbares Café im oberen Stadtteil von Molveno. Wer auf der Suche nach einem nicht touristisch überlaufenen Café ist, ist hier genau richtig. Der Kaffee und auch die große Auswahl an süßem Gebäck ist klasse.

23/08/2024: Basics: - wife's birthday, with two children, ages 12 and 8. - arrived 19:45 and sat in the back corner. - Classic menu for adults, children from a la carte children's menu. - last night of 8 nights in Madonna di Campiglio. Several elements of the experience that we felt fell short of our expectations: (i) the quantity and quality of the food fell short of what we would consider should be expected at a Michelin-starred restaurant: (a) the "degustation of bread" was not a very high quality start to the meal - it felt gimmicky and (for the restaurant) a low-cost way to make patrons feel satiated, given the quality and portion size of the rest of the menu. The breadsticks were stale and crunchy (plus the acoustics of the intimate stube-style restaurant resulted in us hearing every other customer crunch on the breadsticks/crostini) (b) the salad was underwhelming and fairly small and not particularly unique; (c) the soup with tortellini was unremarkable; (d) the pasta, while tasty, was not out of the ordinary for the region; and (e) the venison was a bit disappointing both in flavor and in size. Overall, it was not of a quality one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant set menu. (ii) the service was delivered by nice people with a very good level of English, but it fell short of what we would expect. (a) We had to ask several times to have wine to accompany courses, while our glasses sat empty for a long time on the table - in two instances, my wife had to ask what wine could accompany the meal she was already sitting in front of, having to wait until the wine arrived later to start eating (for the main, the head waiter left her sitting waiting for at least 5 minutes); (b) our water bottle and glasses sat empty for a very long time, and we had to remind them to bring another twice. (iii) Though they were clearly short-staffed, the staff did not seem to recognize their having fallen short of delivery: when we called them over for the above reminders, the impression we got is they were annoyed with our intrusion, rather than apologetic for their having forgotten or for having fallen short. We felt we were very kind and patient with the staff - we always are, but also because we both started our careers in the food services industry (my wife as a chef at 2 and 3 michelin star restaurants), so our starting point is always sympathetic. Minor points: (iv) upon arrival, when asking guests to wait for their table for an extended period in the lounge, a nice touch would be to offer a small coupe of prosecco (v) it appeared staff attended to other tables with more attention, but we did notice that other tables had empty glasses throughout the evening. There were of course some good parts of the evening, from the generally nice senior staff (e.g. at entry and exit), the presentation of the meals, and the extensive wine list. It was also nice that you had a kids menu, a la carte, allowing for parents to dine on a set menu with the children eating from a different one. The children enjoyed their meals, although we would point out that the Milanese Vitello con palate was overcooked - both the meat and the potatoes. My son was so hungry, he ended up going ahead and eating (without out sending it back), but it definitely could have been better. The meatballs for our daughter were undercooked initially, a situation that was rectified - with an apology (i.e. we appreciated the chef admitted there was a mistake, rectified the issue, and apologized -- and following that our daughter really enjoyed the meatballs). The evening fell well short of our expectations, and we spent far too much money given the experience fell short of Michelin. After the meal, I went on google to look at reviews and came across one on google reviews from someone called "Chris Kopczynski" from > one year ago. I think that accurately portrays the evening we had as well, which makes me regret I did not do my research ahead of time.

13/08/2024: Ottime colazioni e non solo con prodotti tipici del posto . Torte di vario genere e buon strudel. Anche il caffè ed il cappuccino sono buoni. Non ho mai mangiato piatti salati ma sembrano ugualmente buoni. Ampio spazio esterno

02/08/2024: Bar fornito di tutto il necessario per una sosta in famiglia. Personale estremamente cordiale e molto gentile, soprattutto con i nostri bambini, cosa al giorno d'oggi non scontata.

11/03/2024: Festeggiato il compleanno alla Grotta e tutto è stato, come sempre, delizioso. Ottima qualità, a giusto prezzo, con un grande servizio

08/03/2024: Adoro la Grotta, vado ogni anno da 20 anni ormai ed è una garanzia. Gli Spatzle sono i migliori che abbia mangiato, le porzioni abbondanti e gustose. La pizza è deliziosa, fina e croccante e anche facile da digerire. Anche i dolci che variano spesso sono buonissimi.

15/07/2024: Lovely little B&B style hotel in Corvara, very central to wider areas in the Dolomites. Mountain view is of mountains and the little town. Staff were very welcoming and helpful during our stay. Would 100% stay again and recommend.

26/06/2024: The three of us were there for five days, great location, nice accommodation and rooms, the bar and the terrace invite you to stay there, great breakfast, delicious ice cream sundaes, but the best thing was the super nice hosts including the waitress Ludowika 👍👍👍

01/07/2024: Dall'esterno vediamo il forno a pietra e a vista le pizze sembrano deliziose quindi decidiamo di sederci. Due adulti e due bambine, 2 e 4 anni. La piccola prende un piatto da ristorante che arriva prima delle nostre pizze, dopo un po' la "grande" comincia a chiederci la sua pizza. Vista l'insistenza decidiamo di chiedere al capo cameriere se può farci la cortesia di far arrivare prima la pizza/focaccia semplice ordinata per la "grande". Ci viene risposto che è impossibile visto il gran numero di comande... La fortuna ha voluto che il nostro tavolo fosse vicino al forno e il pizzaiolo ha sentito la discussione. Egli allora prima di tutto si é scusato per i diversi tempi della cucina e della pizzeria, e poco dopo con grande sorpresa riusciamo a soddisfare i bisogni di nostra figlia. Che dire... La pizza e i prodotti veramente di ottima qualità, ma ciò che ha fatto la differenza è stata la disponibilità e cortesia del pizzaiolo, che vogliamo ancora ringraziare fortemente per la gentilezza. Pizza veramente ottima, stra consigliato.

19/08/2024: I love giving nice reviews but this time I feel cheated and I just can't! Walking through str Mëisules in Selva Val Gardena I saw this place and seeing great wine labels and not having planned anything we went in! Not being very hungry I ordered a mixed salad and a venison carpaccio! I honestly couldn't believe my eyes at the mixed salad. It seemed like something left over from the other dishes and brought back to the table. I don't like doing certain things but I called the table boy and pointed it out. The waiter was certainly embarrassed and apologetically took away my salad and brought another one, this time not mixed but just lettuce! The venison carpaccio was very dark placed on the bed of old ruined rocket like the same as the salad brought back. The poured glass of wine did not reach the curve of the glass! My wife ordered a leg (the only passable thing) accompanied by polenta which was also embarrassing! In all this, the waiter was cleaning the table in front, throwing crumbs from customers who had left on the floor! No this is not possible! And considering that being on social media requires maximum transparency, I feel the duty to communicate this situation to all readers! Maybe I would ask for an apology from the managers, justifying such treatment only with serious problems in the kitchen, with the lack of a chef! The professionalism and seriousness of the operators of Val Gardena cannot be confused with what this place has offered to the undersigned. It may be a sporadic case but I'll tell you about mine. And in short, the bill of €70.50 is not exactly a gift! Considering that we drank my wife water and myself a glass of wine! You can't treat a customer like that!

12/08/2024: First time in this place well known in Selva for fish. Ate very good fish dishes and a good pizza. Good service even if apparently in trouble. However, all the waiters were very kind and friendly. Small observation on the decidedly very high prices compared to the type of context and the quality of the dishes.
