18/03/2025: Il ristorante rifugio si trova ai piedi della pista che scende dal Ciampinoi.
La location è caratteristica e dopo esserci stati al termine della giornata sciistica abbiamo deciso di ritornarci per cena.
Si raggiunge tranquillamente a piedi dal centro di Selva accedendo attraverso un piccolo sentiero che conduce al ristorante.
L’atmosfera è qui di suggestiva sia all’esterno che all’interno, molto tranquillo e rilassante. Lo staff è molto gentile, disponibile e fornisce buoni consigli sui vini.
I piatti sono ben preparati. I costi sono alti ma nella media della zona.

25/04/2025: Ich muss mich leider den vorhergehenden bewerten anhängen. Es ist eine absolute Touristenfalle. Pizza ist kalt langweilig und man schmeckt das keine Liebe drin ist. Nudeln gingen so. Das Service hat für die paar Tische zu lange gebraucht. Gehe nicht wieder hin da gibt es bessere

13/03/2025: Was excited about the selection of products and wine; however felt betrayed by the seller who talked us into “Speck Gin” which “doesn’t taste like speck, just smoky and like the herbs speck is often cooked with.” It tasted exactly like pork and I’ve never had anything so disgusting in my life. We we asked them about this, they said it was our fault for purchasing it. This is not how good businesses that want return clients treat their customers. Very disappointing.

05/02/2025: Everything is fine EXCEPT SERVICE!!!! Something like that shouldn't exist and from an entrepreneur's point of view, hardly anyone can afford it these days...
30/12/2024: The restaurant has an excellent location, sitting at the tables in the sun, you can see the cathedral square and the Ofburg palace. We stopped to sip some hot apple juice after a walk around the beautiful Christmas market. Maybe there were a lot of people, but we waited a while before ordering. Perhaps just one person to serve all those tables is not enough, given that the place, in addition to being a bar, serves pizzas and ice creams. However we spent some time in the sun admiring the view.

The four of us sat down for a coffee, a herbal tea and an ice cream (it looked like anything but an ice cream). The waiter spoke to us in German, even though we had spoken to him in Italian.
Difficulty communicating and what can I say...a terrible experience overall!
23/05/2025: A lovely café in the arcades of Merano. The cake selection is extensive and delicious. Perhaps a bit touristy. We'll definitely be back.

Anni consecutivi di gruppi portati presso di loro, avere sempre una parola buona e un consiglio di visita presso il loro locale , per gli ultimi 3 anni consecutivi ho prenotato a mio nome per diverse persone(confidando di ricevere un trattamento accurato) invece nonostante avevo avvertito in anticipo , che avremmo preso le costine non ce le hanno lasciate da parte (deludendo i ragazzi a cui le avevo sponsorizzate tanto) e in più ci hanno occupato il nostro posto prenotato anticipatamente, facendoci aspettare 1 ora in piedi! Questo locale non prenderà più un euro né da me ne dai miei gruppi …

06/04/2025: We often order from them because the pizza is truly among the best in the area, nothing to say about the quality.
Unfortunately, yesterday's experience was very disappointing. After ordering via the app, the order was delivered... but in fact we hadn't received anything. I then called for clarification, but the telephone assistance was really unpleasant. The only thing that has been repeated to me several times is that they don't deliver to Lana unless orders of at least 4 pizzas are made. It's a shame that we have been ordering for months - even less than 4 pizzas - without ever having had any problems or communications of this kind from the couriers.
I tried to ask for explanations on how it was possible that the order was delivered, but the answer was always the same: "We don't deliver to Lana". No real willingness to help or clarify the situation, not even towards a regular customer.
In summary: excellent pizza, customer service to be deeply reviewed.
For this two stars. There's no point in making an excellent pizza if you then receive responses like this!

08/04/2025: Un rifugio che unisce alla perfezione la genuinità della cucina di montagna con una vista mozzafiato. Il menù offre un’ampia scelta di piatti, tutti preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, nel pieno rispetto della tradizione locale.
Ogni portata racconta il territorio con sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, perfetti da gustare dopo una camminata o semplicemente per godersi un pranzo immersi nella natura.
Il pranzo con vista sulle montagne rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale. Un luogo accogliente, dove si torna volentieri.
07/04/2025: Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo pranzato al rifugio Viviani e ne siamo rimasti veramente entusiasti.
Cibo ottimo, panorama mozzafiato e ragazzi super disponibili.
Bellissima esperienza ci torneremo.

24/06/2025: I was born in the city in 1969 and I went to the Theiner bar with my grandmother since I was little at 5 or 6 years old. Then I always frequented the historic center and then with the group in the evening we went up that side to Prati del Talvera and stopped at the Theiner 1982 until 1990 other years theiner was an obligatory stop for us banana 🍌 splint that is with ice cream. But we, the group, were regular customers of the Bar Diana which made delicious ice cream, Bigliardi room, ping pong tables, Barilla table football, tables for card games: from Rummy to Scala 50 poker outside the bar ice cream shop, It is under Neyt Club NAVARRO. Now the Theiner ahcc.
13/06/2025: An absolutely disappointing experience. We were a large group and from the beginning we were not treated with the slightest respect. We had to wait an inordinately long time just to receive our drinks. No one took note of the orders and in the end we were asked to pay €20 more, even though each of us had already paid their share. It was impossible to discuss with the staff, who were rude and totally disorganized. It is a real shame to be treated this way. We will never return and I strongly advise against this place to anyone looking for a minimum of professionalism.

16/03/2025: Il locale è carino e i prodotti sembrano buoni, vengo spesso a bere il caffè qui la domenica mattina, ma la mia scelta è dettata semplicemente dal fatto che non ci sono quasi altri posti aperti, perché se considerassi la "simpatia" e gentilezza del servizio, sarebbe l'ultimo posto che sceglierei.

Let's not talk about hunger, let's talk about respect.
The food we were offered has nothing to do with that of a restaurant.
A cold plate of tasteless barley, two pieces of bread thrown on the plate together with two slices of salted meat... In a place like this you expect much more. A proposal like this can also be found in a supermarket, not in a place that claims to offer a culinary experience.
It's not a question of quantity, but of quality and care.

We were at the Azienda Agricola Filanda de Boron in Tione di Trento. Table booked, we were a good group: so far everything was perfect. Upon arrival, the very kind Nicola accompanied us to the table and immediately brought us water. Excellent start, hydration first of all! 💧
Then comes the evening's menu, told by word of mouth, with an almost experimental theater tone. And here begins the culinary adventure...
Aperitif: a small piece of bread (the size of a 2 euro coin, but maybe a 1 if you look at it from the side) with a few drops of Sicilian oil. It's not clear to us whether it was a greeting at the entrance or a test of attention. 🤔
First course: orzotto with cherry tomatoes, accompanied by a glass of white wine (more glass than wine, but whatever). The flavor? Light. Like the entire portion. 🥄
Second course: two thin transparent slices (like a postage stamp, but more delicate) of carne salada artistically placed on two pieces of bread and three small pieces of giardiniera placed there with earring tweezers, presumably. Another glass of wine followed, always sober like the portions. 🍷
Dessert: four small pieces of sbrisolona with a drop (one!) of marsala. Perhaps the most intense moment of the dinner, or perhaps we were hungry and every crumb seemed like a miracle. 🍪
Price: 35 euros per person. Fixed menu. And also the smile, that was included and necessary to deal with the digestion... of the air.
Conclusion: nice atmosphere, suggestive place, kind staff. But here, if you go with the idea of "eating", we recommend a preventive snack or a sandwich in the dashboard for the return. Otherwise, excellent for those who want to feel gastronomically minimalist. 😅
09/06/2025: We visited the farm for our wedding research and we saw a wonderful location and great hospitality. The wines are very good and even the fruit and vegetables have an exceptional flavor, not to mention the oil.. truly exquisite.
Nicola is extremely hospitable and kind, he welcomed us with open arms. I recommend this place to anyone who wants to lose themselves among the tastes of the mountains
