06/04/2025: Soggiornare al rifugio è una esperienza molto piacevole. Stanze accoglienti e calde. Bellissima terrazza panoramica riservata per la merenda del pomeriggio. Tramonto spettacolare. Cena ottima.

23/08/2024: Basics: - wife's birthday, with two children, ages 12 and 8. - arrived 19:45 and sat in the back corner. - Classic menu for adults, children from a la carte children's menu. - last night of 8 nights in Madonna di Campiglio. Several elements of the experience that we felt fell short of our expectations: (i) the quantity and quality of the food fell short of what we would consider should be expected at a Michelin-starred restaurant: (a) the "degustation of bread" was not a very high quality start to the meal - it felt gimmicky and (for the restaurant) a low-cost way to make patrons feel satiated, given the quality and portion size of the rest of the menu. The breadsticks were stale and crunchy (plus the acoustics of the intimate stube-style restaurant resulted in us hearing every other customer crunch on the breadsticks/crostini) (b) the salad was underwhelming and fairly small and not particularly unique; (c) the soup with tortellini was unremarkable; (d) the pasta, while tasty, was not out of the ordinary for the region; and (e) the venison was a bit disappointing both in flavor and in size. Overall, it was not of a quality one would expect from a Michelin-starred restaurant set menu. (ii) the service was delivered by nice people with a very good level of English, but it fell short of what we would expect. (a) We had to ask several times to have wine to accompany courses, while our glasses sat empty for a long time on the table - in two instances, my wife had to ask what wine could accompany the meal she was already sitting in front of, having to wait until the wine arrived later to start eating (for the main, the head waiter left her sitting waiting for at least 5 minutes); (b) our water bottle and glasses sat empty for a very long time, and we had to remind them to bring another twice. (iii) Though they were clearly short-staffed, the staff did not seem to recognize their having fallen short of delivery: when we called them over for the above reminders, the impression we got is they were annoyed with our intrusion, rather than apologetic for their having forgotten or for having fallen short. We felt we were very kind and patient with the staff - we always are, but also because we both started our careers in the food services industry (my wife as a chef at 2 and 3 michelin star restaurants), so our starting point is always sympathetic. Minor points: (iv) upon arrival, when asking guests to wait for their table for an extended period in the lounge, a nice touch would be to offer a small coupe of prosecco (v) it appeared staff attended to other tables with more attention, but we did notice that other tables had empty glasses throughout the evening. There were of course some good parts of the evening, from the generally nice senior staff (e.g. at entry and exit), the presentation of the meals, and the extensive wine list. It was also nice that you had a kids menu, a la carte, allowing for parents to dine on a set menu with the children eating from a different one. The children enjoyed their meals, although we would point out that the Milanese Vitello con palate was overcooked - both the meat and the potatoes. My son was so hungry, he ended up going ahead and eating (without out sending it back), but it definitely could have been better. The meatballs for our daughter were undercooked initially, a situation that was rectified - with an apology (i.e. we appreciated the chef admitted there was a mistake, rectified the issue, and apologized -- and following that our daughter really enjoyed the meatballs). The evening fell well short of our expectations, and we spent far too much money given the experience fell short of Michelin. After the meal, I went on google to look at reviews and came across one on google reviews from someone called "Chris Kopczynski" from > one year ago. I think that accurately portrays the evening we had as well, which makes me regret I did not do my research ahead of time.

09/02/2025: Una vera e propria sorpresa!!! Siamo stati dopo una giornata sulle piste per un cioccolato caldo e che sorpresa un cioccolato caldo così mai mangiato… Lo consigliamo sicuramente!!!

14/04/2025: Delicious cappuccino with plant-based milk alternative - oat milk. Rarely found in South Tyrol. Were incredibly excited and very satisfied. Friendly staff and nice ambience indoors and outdoors.

10/02/2025: It seems decent. Had some good experiences here when it’s quiet but service becomes challenging when it’s busier. A bit of plants or modernisation of the decor would probably help the place perform better, considering its rival “Punkt” just down the road.

19/03/2025: Premetto che il titolo dice già tutto.... ma oggi ci sono stata con dei miei amici per una giornata sulla neve, il posto è magnifico, il cibo è ottimo e il personale gentile e cordiale è molto consigliato.

27/02/2025: Un buon rifugio, con primi piatti in realtà mediocri, piatti di carne che sembravano invitanti e dolci promossi. L'ambiente sarebbe un po' da ritoccare, in particolare le toilette. Ricordavo il rifugio ottimo per rapporto qualità-prezzo, invece ora dopo qualche anno si dimostra fin troppo caro.

25/04/2025: Ich muss mich leider den vorhergehenden bewerten anhängen. Es ist eine absolute Touristenfalle. Pizza ist kalt langweilig und man schmeckt das keine Liebe drin ist. Nudeln gingen so. Das Service hat für die paar Tische zu lange gebraucht. Gehe nicht wieder hin da gibt es bessere

05/10/2024: Siamo stati oggi in questo locale per pranzo,personalmente gentile abbiamo mangiato anche abbastanza bene il problema è stato scoprire il prezzo di 19.50€ per unnpuatto di gulash e polenta... 5-6 pezzi di carne per quel prezzo anche no.... era un piatto fuori menù e scritto nella lavagna all'entrata senza che il prezzo fosse scritto... ho sbagliato io a non chiedere però per 5-6 pezzetti di carne e due cucchiai di polenta 19.50€ lo trovo quasi assurdo.

04/10/2024: Posizionata nel centro di Primiero, personale gentile ed educato. Abbiamo mangiato la pizza che per noi era veramente troppo sottile. Comunque non ci è dispiaciuta.

06/02/2025: Mi dispiace moltissimo dover fare una recensione del genere. Lo strudel ha un sapore ottimo, se non penso al quantitativo esagerato di semi di mela e pezzi di buccia o parti di torsolo, davvero sgradevoli in bocca. È il mio dolce preferito, lo acquisto in montagna ogni anno e in posti diversi e no, non è normale che ci siano gli scarti all’interno. Il mio compagno è cliente da oltre dieci anni, ma mi sa che toccherà interrompere questa tradizione annuale.

11/01/2025: Durante una tre giorni con tappa fissa al Castello di Stifterhof di Merano siamo andati in giornata a Vipiteno per poi proseguire per Bressanone. Durante la visita a Vipiteno, ci mancavo da tantissimo tempo, sono stata di nuovo piacevolmente colpita dalla bellezza di questo gioiellino e girando girando abbiamo incontrato questo cafe pasticceria con una vetrina invitantissima piena di dolci . Siamo entrate con la mia intenzione di comperare un regalo per i miei vicini di casa e precisamente il pane di Natale con la immagine di Santa Klaus. La golosità mi ha spinto a chiedere anche lo strudel di mele con crema alla vaniglia calda e nonostante la resistenza delle mie amiche , ci siamo sedute e invece che uno abbiamo ordinato tre strudel alla crema di vaniglia. Mamma che bontà . Vaniglia calda , gradevole e non stomachevole, e lo strudel caldo favoloso. Il locale è molto accogliente e carino in tipico stile dell'Alto Adige ben curato e pulito e poi complice la atmosfera prenatalizia siamo state proprio bene. La mia vicina di casa mi ha detto che il pane di Natale è stato ottimo e mangiato in un battibaleno. Se sei a Vipiteno fermati in questa pasticceria e ne troverà giovamento il corpo e lo spirito.

18/03/2025: Il ristorante rifugio si trova ai piedi della pista che scende dal Ciampinoi. La location è caratteristica e dopo esserci stati al termine della giornata sciistica abbiamo deciso di ritornarci per cena. Si raggiunge tranquillamente a piedi dal centro di Selva accedendo attraverso un piccolo sentiero che conduce al ristorante. L’atmosfera è qui di suggestiva sia all’esterno che all’interno, molto tranquillo e rilassante. Lo staff è molto gentile, disponibile e fornisce buoni consigli sui vini. I piatti sono ben preparati. I costi sono alti ma nella media della zona.

02/06/2025: If I could give less than one star I would. The four of us sat down for a coffee, a herbal tea and an ice cream (it looked like anything but an ice cream). The waiter spoke to us in German, even though we had spoken to him in Italian. Difficulty communicating and what can I say...a terrible experience overall!

23/05/2025: A lovely café in the arcades of Merano. The cake selection is extensive and delicious. Perhaps a bit touristy. We'll definitely be back.
