28/07/2025: Very disappointing, the waiter was unmotivated and unfriendly. The ice cream wasn't to our taste.

19/10/2025: Cappuccino with a heart, and the ice cream is also delicious. We would have loved to go there more often, but we couldn't get a seat. This speaks volumes for the cafe. We'll be back. We were there again this time and drank the most delicious cappuccino.

11/10/2025: We were at the Laubencafe two weeks ago. We drank excellent wine from the St. Quirinus organic winery, and the service was very prompt, even though the café was very busy. Our snack was served freshly by the chef. Afterward, we treated ourselves to a delicious ice cream sundae. The seating is very central and you can easily observe the goings-on around you. The staff were very friendly.

25/08/2025: I had extremely positive memories of this ice cream parlor from my numerous visits to Bolzano over the years, but today's visit was disappointing. Has the owner or ice cream maker changed? Not good Italian ice cream, the taste is artificial: the banana ice cream tastes like Müllermilch banana, and the Fior latte is very sweet. The service was unfriendly and seemed annoyed. I wouldn't recommend it!

07/08/2025: Disappointing visit despite promising location The tables outside were unkempt and visibly dirty – a shame, because the restaurant's location would actually be ideal. The waitress didn't even acknowledge us at first, and it felt like an eternity before our order was taken. We weren't offered an ice cream menu, and since we'd apparently been forgotten, we jokingly asked if the ice cream had to be freshly made and the fruit picked. At least the sundae finally arrived – and it tasted good and was fairly priced. When paying inside, we had to wait again because the two waitresses preferred to have a lively conversation with a gentleman. The waiter had to ask them twice to hand over the card reader. Given the small number of guests, I seriously wonder how this restaurant can survive. In Bolzano, negligence is rarely tolerated for long. 08/04/2025: Un rifugio che unisce alla perfezione la genuinità della cucina di montagna con una vista mozzafiato. Il menù offre un’ampia scelta di piatti, tutti preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità, nel pieno rispetto della tradizione locale. Ogni portata racconta il territorio con sapori autentici e ben bilanciati, perfetti da gustare dopo una camminata o semplicemente per godersi un pranzo immersi nella natura. Il pranzo con vista sulle montagne rende l’esperienza ancora più speciale. Un luogo accogliente, dove si torna volentieri.

07/04/2025: Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo pranzato al rifugio Viviani e ne siamo rimasti veramente entusiasti. Cibo ottimo, panorama mozzafiato e ragazzi super disponibili. Bellissima esperienza ci torneremo.

16/11/2025: Ordered coffee today... forgettable, very bitter and completely without crema... I don't call that coffee art. The service was very rude.

21/09/2025: On previous visits to Merano, I've really enjoyed my Schreyögg espresso here. I was looking forward to it yesterday morning, too. The waitress, a woman in her mid-50s with blonde, chin-length hair, asked if she could help me. I said, "No, thanks, I'm still looking around." She replied, "Look... we're not a museum!" I then apologized and left. I won't be returning and would rather cherish the memories of better times.

23/11/2025: Slow staff, we waited 10 minutes for our neighbors at table 25, they brought us three chocolates instead of 4 and you couldn't call it chocolate because it was basically milk and nesquik... bathroom without toilet paper, otherwise the place is very nice

12/09/2025: Cozy street, But the pizza is very dry and barely topped. One table received a bread basket and oil, the other didn't. The staff is curt and easily offended. I'd recommend the neighbors across the street.

23/07/2025: 4 Kellner/innen lassen Ihre Kundschaft draußen im Gewitter stehen mit der Begründung „Wir bedienen nur draußen“. Unfreundlich und unflexibel… wir kommen nicht wieder

15/07/2025: Posto bello, servizio rapido cortese e attento, ma piatti scelti mediocri. Verdure grigliate grossolane e praticamente crude; strudel con mele crude. Forse è una caratteristica del ristorante? Prezzi piuttosto alti

22/10/2025: Zero stars, we were rudely asked to leave the table because we didn't want lunch. As for the food, based on our many years of experience with the bar, we can only agree with the 1-star review. At least the drinks are top-notch.

21/10/2025: I ate the pizza and it seemed like frozen pizza.
