21/11/2025: Had the pleasure of dining at Sal8 while in Agrigento, and it genuinely impressed us. The atmosphere blended casual and upscale in the best way, and the service was excellent — warm and attentive — with a small but well-curated menu. We ordered the house-made ricotta ravioli with a buttery, creamy pistachio and almond Parmesan pesto, and it was outstanding — perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. We also enjoyed the pasta with clams, the true treasure of the sea — unforgettable in every way. Overall, a memorable dining experience and absolutely worth a return visit. Saluti

06/11/2025: A wonderful restaurant offering delicious food and a wonderful atmosphere. The waiter who served us was wonderful, acting like a true host and making our dinner a wonderful experience. I can wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant. We ordered the grilled seafood mix, caponata, fried octopus, and beef. The beef was the best I've ever had. The seafood was also prepared perfectly, exactly as it should be.
04/11/2025: It's expensive and tasteless. The food is like home-cooked food, but not in a good way; it's like they didn't put any effort into it.
The seafood pasta had empty shells and tiny shrimp heads.
Also, the website listed here and the prices on it don't match the restaurant menu prices at all.
Overall, I don't recommend it at all; you can eat much better and much tastier for the same price.

14/04/2025: The food is very good (obviously there's better), but the preparation is too slow. It was basically just me and my friend, no one else, and we waited 15-20 minutes for two burgers and fries. The cashier is rude, and the songs they play suck, creating a boring atmosphere. There are jars at the cashier's with fries and peanuts and peanuts inside, and they're always the same ones. I don't recommend eating them for 2-3 years, I think.

13/08/2025: The location doesn't match the actual location of the restaurant. When we called to ask for directions, the lady told us they'd moved, assuming we (tourists) should know by some well-informed science. "I thought you knew!" How is anyone's guess? We ordered mussel soup and two mixed grills with a side salad: the mussel soup was really good, while the grills were absolutely not worth the price; the salad was a tiny plate and cost €5. We then ordered two sorbets, served in little plastic cups and also costing €5 each. We paid practically the price of a full menu despite not ordering pasta and only having one appetizer, for two people it came to €92.
06/08/2025: Siamo stati i primi clienti nella nuova location, nella Valle dei Templi, e si percepiva chiaramente che il locale non fosse ancora pronto per l’apertura: mancavano i menù cartacei e c’erano ancora tecnici al lavoro. Ci vengono proposte a voce tre opzioni di menù: uno di carne e due di pesce, rispettivamente a 30 e 45 euro.
Chiediamo informazioni sul menù di pesce da 30 euro e ci viene spiegato che comprende un primo, un secondo, un contorno e un sorbetto. Tuttavia, il primo piatto previsto non conteneva pesce, e per avere un vero primo di pesce abbiamo dovuto aggiungere 4 euro per persona.
Nel complesso, il menù ci è sembrato pensato più per turisti, sia per qualità che per quantità.
