05/05/2025: A classy restaurant for gourmets, not an Osteria as the name of the place suggests. The rooms both externally and internally are clean and well-ordered. The meat and fish dishes are of quality and freshness. After I went for lunch, being satisfied, I also decided for dinner, enjoying and alternating both meat and fish dishes. The choice of both regional and non-regional wines is well assorted for any dish, as well as the local red one. Everything is good from starters, first courses, second courses, side dishes and desserts. Excellent value for money, as is the table service with friendly and attentive staff. I will return and recommend it.

29/05/2025: A true excellence of traditional cuisine. It rarely happens to me to leave a restaurant with the feeling that everything has been done with coherence, competence and respect for the territory. Ambasciata Orsarese is one of those places where traditional cuisine is not only told, but actually experienced. The raw materials are local, fresh and of evident quality. The special effect is not sought, but balance: each dish has a meaning, a story and solid preparation behind it. You can perceive a real short supply chain, without compromises. The service was perfect: trained, courteous and present staff at the right point, without forcing. From someone who works in the sector, it is nice to see a room managed with this level of professionalism. A place to keep in mind for those who love authentic cuisine, done well and without pretence. I will definitely return, and I will recommend it with conviction.

28/04/2025: Da Peppe Zullo si va sempre sul sicuro. Abbiamo deciso di passare da lui la Pasqua e ci siamo fatti un’ora e mezza di auto per arrivarci + altrettanto per tornare a casa. Ma ne è valsa sicuramente la pena. Menu fisso ma tutto buonissimo, la parmigiana di borragine indimenticabile. Vino rosato delle sue cantine ottimo. Spero di tornarci presto, nonostante la distanza!

25/05/2025: Sehr freundliches Personal, die ruhige und entspannende Musik mit dem Blick auf den Hafen war super zum Erholen und Kraft tanken. Zu unseren Getränken wurden Oliven, Erdnüsse und Kekse gereicht.

25/05/2025: We went to this restaurant for dinner. Location on the sea in a nice environment. We ordered raw fish, 1 cuttlefish (precisely in size of a €1 coin but oh well now everything is justified by saying that they are gourmet dishes for which we must appreciate the misery and be happy to pay their weight in gold) 2 first courses with sea urchins (€30 each, thank you again, in the best restaurants of superior elegance we have never paid this price) 2 first courses with anchovies and bread. Cover charge €4 per person. To make a long story short the dishes were good as usual, we spent €240, oh well they are gourmet dishes so go and pay with a smile. Surely this will be the owners' response, quality has to be paid for, but surely you shouldn't overpay in an unjustified way. To conclude we went back immediately afterwards to buy 2 half-liter bottles of water and not for the extra €3, but it is shameful to pay for them (we all know that the value of 2 bottles is 30 cents total). IT IS KNOWN THAT ELEGANCE IS NOT WATER

27/04/2025: Abbiamo cenato ieri sera. Con amici. Accoglienza immediata e cordiale, ambiente caldo e tranquillo con sottofondo musicale apprezzato. Ampia scelta dei piatti, prodotti tipici e del luogo e spiegazione dettagliata degli ingredienti utilizzati. Mangiato molto bene dall’ antipasto al dolce. Il conto adeguato, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Consigliatissimo e sarebbe bello tornarci se ci trovassimo ancora da queste parti. Gentilissima la cameriera che ci ha servito e professionale il titolare, con i complimenti finali alla chef che ci ha salutato in sala a fine serata.

13/04/2025: Ce ne avevano parlato e così ci siamo andati per scuriosare un po’, la prima volta. Poi ci siamo tornati e ogni volta una delizia: oggi a pranzo spaghettone nero alla tartare di scampi. La fortuna di essere di qui e di avere nei paraggi un posto così…

05/05/2025: This place was recommended to us, we trusted it, not at all crowded for an Easter Monday and without infamy or praise, there were two of us, with my partner we sat outside, slow service from the kitchen, unstable table outside in the alley, we ordered a tasting of raw meat for two (little selection) of which the sea urchins served without a teaspoon to help with the tasting and two first courses with octopus sauce and the other with stuffed cuttlefish sauce, ate it all because we are of the opinion that food should not be thrown away as long as it is edible, but really tasteless sauce, the fish only the presence but really tasteless and sauce among other things also undercooked. He gave the idea that it was a simple base of freshly made tomato sauce sautéed at the end of cooking with octopus frogs on one side and cuttlefish scraps on the other. The place is characteristic, the environment is quiet and the waitress at the tables is professional, good looking and attentive, but that's not enough, the cuisine needs to be improved a lot. Adequate price if we had eaten with taste and not out of appetite.

16/03/2025: This review is for the "Lowen a Teatro" restaurant. I have 3 pieces of advice which are really the basis. The wine glasses dry and are not brought wet to the table. The bottle is uncorked at the table and not brought open. And finally, the bottle opens under the "rim" so that when pouring the wine it does not hit the packaging and dirty everything... I repeat, these are the basics!!

02/03/2025: Mi dispiace molto leggere delle recensioni così basse. Ho mangiato veramente bene, super consigliato il panino numero 4! Ma anche le polpette di zucca. Camerieri cordiali e la scelta della birra veramente vasta. Tipico ambiente da pub. Super approvato.
