24/08/2025: We've been wanting to go to Al Vecchio Forno for a while, and we finally made it during our short stay in Barletta. The location is elegant and welcoming. The entire staff was professional and friendly. We had one appetizer and two main courses, both very good and high-quality. The homemade desserts were also fabulous. We'll be back soon.

23/08/2025: Are you allergic? Don't go! At dinner with friends, we chose the house mixed appetizers and declared one of us to be allergic to nuts. The waiter, after going to the kitchen to inquire, returned and said, "All appetizers do NOT contain nuts." Unfortunately, however, as we ate, we realized the tuna had a sauce with nuts! We decided to leave immediately to monitor our allergic friend who had eaten the dish and to have easy access to emergency services if necessary. From then on, we realized the waiters didn't even know the difference between an intolerance and an allergy. The owner didn't even apologize, and when pressed, simply said "human error" and gave us the bill. Unfortunately, this was an unacceptable mistake that, if we hadn't had an antihistamine on hand and a lot of luck, could have cost us our lives. The superficiality with which something like this was handled leaves us truly bitter and frightened. We hope this report will be helpful in the future. Please be careful!

30/08/2025: A corner of happiness in Bisceglie 5/5 stars An oasis of peace and flavor "Hygge" isn't just a name, but a philosophy that permeates every corner of this place. The atmosphere is incredibly welcoming, with meticulous attention to detail, making you feel instantly at ease, right at home. This attention to detail is also reflected in the products offered. I found exceptional quality, with desserts that are unique and truly amazing in flavor. The individual portions are small works of art, a feast for the eyes and the palate. It's an ideal place for both a relaxing breakfast and an aperitif with friends. I also really appreciate their attention to different dietary needs, with a variety of vegan and gluten-free options that aren't always found elsewhere. It's a truly inclusive place, where everyone can find something special. Bar Hygge fully deserves its fame and the accolades it's received, such as a mention in the Gambero Rosso Guide. It's an experience worth trying again and again. Highly recommended!

12/03/2025: One of the best places I have ever ended up in. The knowledge of the owners about spices and herbs is astonishing and it made me feel I was in good hands. The Golden Milk and Chai Latte are my favourite anywhere I go abroad, and finally someone makes it also in Trani. Well done guys!

03/08/2025: My son and his wife chose Casale Santa Lucia for their wedding dinner. They couldn't have made a better choice! Stunning location, beautiful rooms, fantastic food, and truly commendable organization! The menu (extensive and meticulously curated) was adapted to vegans and those with intolerances with great attention and respect for all needs. The service was precise and fast, truly impeccable! Everything went flawlessly, with professionalism and excellence. Highly recommended.

07/09/2025: It was our first evening in Barletta and we chose to dine here: it was a truly memorable experience. Even though we were seated inside with our dog, we were greeted with great kindness and friendliness by the entire staff. Over the next few days, we tried other restaurants, both in Barletta and in other cities in Puglia, but nothing was up to par. We even returned for dinner again, but unfortunately the restaurant was closed due to a bereavement (our sincere condolences). I still wanted to write this review to let you know that you are truly amazing; keep up the good work!

06/09/2025: We went for lunch on a Saturday, and the restaurant was fully booked. Reservations are recommended. The quality/price ratio was good, and the portions were a pleasant surprise. I would have served the raw ham a little colder, perhaps adding a bit of ice, and the peppered ham was a little too salty, but we liked it that way. In short, 1 raw seafood dish + 1 peppered ham + 1 fantastic sea urchin dish + 2 seafood first courses + 1 fried fish dish, and a bottle of wine with sorbet and coffee came to €60 per person. A very fair price, in line with the quality and quantity of the dishes. WELL DONE!
