Everything is just right here: quality that you can taste in the food 😋, attentive service with excellent wine knowledge 🍷, and a wine list that offers something for every taste and budget 💫. 07/07/2025: Quick lunch at lago maggiore. We had the Puglian puccie, food was oka. Overall, a strange combination between name, drink and food menu. Service was correct and the atmosphere was okay.
04/07/2025: We ate in the garden at the back of the restaurant, very nice and quite "intimate". We had two pucce salentine, very good, quality ingredients, super french fries, good and original beers. Luca, the owner of the restaurant, very careful that every guest is satisfied and happy, does his role very well. They also make a house bitter, very good and delicate. We will definitely be back!

06/06/2025: Very nice little café. Great selection of delicious desserts! The coffee tastes excellent and the service is very friendly. Perfect for a light breakfast or a quick stop. Parking is right outside the front door. Highly recommended!

12/06/2025: it was a strange experience. we came and there was a free table in the sun. we decided to move it 20 cm in the shade. but the employee came out and started to actively shout at us. so we left. It was super unfriendly and unexpected in Italy.

Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, we were warmly welcomed in an authentic and intimate setting.
The menu showcases local produce, which is beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious!
A truly delightful experience ☺️😋

Family-run, great, friendly service, excellent food quality. Would come back on my next visit. A little removed from the hustle and bustle of the lake promenade. Highly recommended. Would make a reservation. Including starter, main course, dessert, wine, and excellent grappa, €140 for two people. Everything fresh.

10/06/2025: My wife and I occasionally stop by Gigi bar to enjoy the good pastries... since about 2002.
A couple of times now I have found the surcharge of 1.20 per person for table service! The prices applied already include the surcharge for table service. In no bar in Stresa have I found such a tax to pay.
It means that if there are two of you you pay 2.40 euros, for three 3.60
For four 4.80... just to give you an idea!
And why???
And since when!
Goodbye Gigi bar, we will do without it without any problems as you certainly do without us... there are many other chickens.
