31/12/2024: On the recommendation of friends we went to this pub. Great place and really nice place. You can breathe the legendary atmosphere of the 80s! The very kind owner hosted our entire group, even anticipating the opening time! Delicious sandwiches and top beers. Stop even just for a beer if you pass through Stresa.

10/12/2024: The perfect bar/cocktail bar in a really nice location! In this place you feel like you're in the 1930s, a bit like in a Woody Allen film! The background music was also much appreciated, generally swing... perfectly inserted into the context. Truly quality cuisine and cocktails

18/02/2024: Rinnovato nel suo look da poco, ti accoglie con il suo calore e ti sorprende per la sua simpatia ( qualità rara in montagna) . Il miglior posto dove trascorrere qualche ora la sera all' insegna del buon umore e del buon champagne ( merce altresi rara a Macugnaga) dove la differenza è data soprattutto dal savoir faire del personale che ti accoglie con le stesse attenzioni che di solito si riservano ad un amico di vecchia data....Jager "Uber alles"

12/02/2024: The new renovation is fantastic and has a romantic feel. The aperitifs were one of the best in the area. We wished we would have had the chance to go more. The service on entry was good but could of been a little more attentive after that. Superb bar!!

01/12/2024: We have been frequenting the pastry shop at the Castle for years, very popular and appreciated by locals and passing tourists like us. Everyone was unanimous in praising the quality of the food as well as the helpfulness of the service staff.

03/11/2024: Sono stato in questo ristorante a pranzo con la mia famiglia e devo dire che che sono stato molto molto soddisfatto. Posto molto carino accogliente con personale capace e gentilissimo. Complimenti al cuoco,tutti i piatti dall'antipasto al dolce sono stati gustosissimi, veramente ottimi C'E' inoltre un'ottima scelta di vini. Bravissimiiii !!! sicuramente ritornero'.

15/12/2024: The staff is arrogant and subtly impolite. When we reserved our table the restaurant was completely empty and they said we couldn’t reserve inside the restaurant (outside it was 3 degrees) Later when we came the inside of the restaurant was filled with Italians which got their orders for max 15-20minutes. We ordered and waited for our meat ravioli for 45minutes and honestly i think they forgot about the order. Our portions were small, me and my partner honestly think they serverd us one portion and just split it. I would think hard about going here again.

15/12/2024: We came to the restaurant at 12:30 when we had a reservation, at 12:40 the waiter came to take the order. We waited 40 minutes for 2 of the same dishes. They brought two plates with enough food for a child. As soon as we put down the cutlery, they picked up our plates in the same second and in the next 5 minutes brought the bill that we didn't ask for. A very bad experience, one waiter is lovely and kind, the other is conceited, rude and arrogant. I don't recommend it
