26/06/2026: This pub has always existed in Pavia's main square. The venue comprises several rooms and lounges in a historic setting, reminiscent of an old castle. Personally, I find it very atmospheric; the menu offers a wide selection of beers, including Guinness!, and a variety of wines and cocktails. The food could be better served. French fries, for example, are missing, and the quality of the food isn't exceptional. This venue offers an excellent alternative to the myriad of venues that have sprung up over the years along the square and under the porticoes, which are certainly more modern and trendy but have far less atmosphere.

23/09/2025: Product Quality = 9. The Sacher Torte Mignons are a must-try. Service = 8. Place = 7. A bit small; in winter, it's hard to find a free table. Restrooms = 6. They're clean, but you have to access them from outside, requiring a key. The toilet seat is torn from its anchors. I recommend investing a few euros.

06/07/2026: We stopped for an aperitivo and were surprised to learn that drinks and food platters were billed separately. We had an Aperol Apritz, which was practically all ice, and a Campari soda, also all ice. I had the smaller charcuterie platter, consisting of 4 slices of salami, 4 slices of mortadella, 4 slices of coppa, 2 olives, and a pinch of eggplant in oil. All in all, we spent more than 20 euros. I don't recommend the aperitivos; too much ice and not enough Aperol or Campari. I won't go back; there are other places that get you more for less.

23/02/2026: It looks like it was made with my feet, I added extra fries, practically 50 cents per fry. I won't say anything else, the worst pizza. Maybe I should specify that it is pizza + fries, what does that mean for you? The price of the pizza also includes fries, but not a trace of them on the pizza, 2 fries on each slice, truly disgusting, I'm sorry to say it but it doesn't matter...

17/07/2026: I'm sorry but the place is strange. You enter a dark place and you don't see anyone, then you go on randomly and you find a basement room which is the restaurant. I don't know what to say, the food wasn't bad but the first impression is strange. The first place was an Irish pub which is no longer open. It needs to be fixed.

06/07/2026: We stayed at this property during a pleasant weekend in Camigliatello, and overall, the experience was positive. The property shows its age, but it is meticulously maintained. Cleanliness is truly one of its strengths: both the room and the common areas were impeccable, tidy, and well-maintained. The peaceful atmosphere and fresh mountain air made our stay very relaxing. Upon our arrival, we were given breakfast times and basic information about our stay. However, we would have appreciated knowing that the property's restaurant was open to guests. We saw that the Italian national volleyball team was playing, and, assuming it was reserved exclusively for the event, we preferred to dine elsewhere. A few small details in the room could be improved: a bottle of water in the refrigerator would be a welcome touch, especially after a long trip. However, the area that most deserves an update is the mattresses and pillows. The mattresses appear dated and have lost some of their support, while the pillows are very low and soft. Those with neck pain or other problems may not find the ideal comfort. These are details that impact the quality of sleep and, with a simple renovation, would significantly improve the guest experience. Breakfast was the part we were least impressed with. In a property nestled in the Sila Mountains, we would have expected a buffet that showcased the local area: fresh milk, local bread, cured meats and cheeses, traditional desserts, and seasonal fruit or juices. Instead, we found mostly packaged products, such as industrial croissants, Nutella single-servings, and packaged savory delicacies. Even coffee and cappuccino are prepared with an automatic machine that uses powdered milk. In a region like Calabria, rich in livestock and known for the quality of its milk and cheeses, fresh milk and some local delicacies would really make a difference. Overall, our review remains positive. The kindness of the staff, the cleanliness, and the tranquility of the property are qualities we greatly appreciated. With updated mattresses and a breakfast featuring more local produce, this property could offer an even more complete experience and leave its guests with even more wonderful memories.

20/06/2026: My wife and I had a wonderful time. We chose half-board (dinner in the evening) with well-cooked dishes. Breakfast offers everything from sweet to savory, and there's a yogurt machine. The room is large and comfortable. Reception offers top-notch service.
