15/03/2024: Restaurant located in a quiet side street of Corso Vercelli, a bit anonymous from the outside and old-fashioned inside but everything VERY nice and clean. The environment is elegant from the 90s, the service is even more so: you enter a time machine and are followed and guided by attentive and never intrusive trained waiters. The most important thing is obviously the food and here we return to modernity with exceptional dishes, with very high quality products, perfect lobster paccheri and everything perfect. For lunch the price is very fair, I would even say economical if compared to the quality of the food, the service and the environment. Highly recommended

01/04/2024: Nice, a little expensive but has the advantage of having live music. I don't agree with the custom (rather imposed by the place) of dividing the bill equally, it's not correct. Furthermore it is not so tiring with calculator and computer. I don't know !

I like to know in advance the menu that I am about to taste, also because I have some allergies, but this time, after being warned about my problems, I decided to take the plunge and hit the mark. "La casa" by chef Lo Basso is small and welcoming, the table only seats 12 and is located in the kitchen. The experience is engaging because the chef tells both his dishes and also various anecdotes. After the first 5 minutes, you feel like you are among friends. The staff is exceptional, all very good. The route includes 5 stages, starting with the journey, that is, with a series of appetizers, followed by the sea, countryside, land and finally the greedy world routes. The dishes are refined and delicious, some surprising, such as cuttlefish, red mullet and meat tortelli. Definitely a restaurant worth visiting

25/03/2024: This is how a proper Italian sea food restaurant shall look and taste like. The interior features decorations of naval themes. Not minimalistic, they create just at point ambience. Food is varied. Try pasta with clamps (add some more olive oil to make it Neapolitan style) and sea-food risotto. As a starter, try octopus salad. As a dessert, try crème brûlée. Think about reservation in advance to avoid waiting time / sitting rejections.

03/04/2024: Top pastiera!! As a Neapolitan from Naples who has lived in Milan for years now, I have some culinary regrets. One of these is the Sunday pastarelle... In Milan there are Neapolitan pastry shops, but they all have some shortcomings, often terrible service, other times reinterpreted flavors or details. At De Luca I bought a pastiera for Easter which pleasantly surprised me, really good as they make in Naples. Compliments!

21/03/2024: Fino a qualche tempo fa era una pasticceria qualificata ma qualcosa ultimamente è cambiato .. È la seconda volta che acquisto una torta ed è pessima La prima era un semifreddo nocciola vaniglia e cioccolato… aveva il gusto della gelatina e cioccolato nocciole vaniglia un bel niente Per la la festa del papà ho acquistato una torta tiramisù con retrogusto di lampone e quindi poco gradevole x non dire pessima

10/05/2024: Roman cuisine restaurant located in Via Washington, it is a nice area but it is not very easy to find parking. It has many seats and a room in the basement, the walls of the place are painted bright red and furnished with blow-ups of famous actors. The management of the restaurant seems anything but of Roman origin, an aspect that perhaps would have added a bit of warmth to the dinner, which overall resulted in a rather cold welcome, not as one would expect. Menu divided between Roman and traditional Italian cuisine. The Roman mix starter for 2 was a little disappointing, it gave the impression of being a mix of fried foods taken from the supermarket rotisserie. Even the carbonara did not impress, the pecorino was not noticeable and overall the dish was neither "tasty" nor creamy as it should be. Cacio e pepe is better. As for the second courses, we liked the sliced ​​beef, it was a good cut and the desired cooking was respected. From the delivery of the menus to the order, the constant presence of the waiters around your table makes you feel oppressed during the choice, making you a little uncomfortable. I would observe more organization in the waiters' service and communication between them.

12/03/2024: Ristorante storico milanese, che negli anni ha conservato la sua identità, trovata sublime nei ravioletti al sugo casereccio, ma aggiornandosi con un evoluzione culinaria notevole Perfetta la tartare di salmone con puntarelle e mandarino, così come ottimo il risotto topinambur ed animelle. Servizio discreto, attento, manca forse entusiasmo. Carta dei vini giusta.

11/03/2024: Un ristorante dalla passata gloria, andavo con mio padre tanto anni fa, era una vera istituzione a Milano. Oggi conserva un piacevole sapore retrò, con servizio ineccepibile, ma ove il cibo risulta meno interessante di prima, forse un po’ pesante, senza quel pizzico di eccellenza che forse uno si aspetta da un locale storico nel cuore di Milano. Siamo stati bene, abbiamo mangiato nella media, con piatti a tratti molto pesanti. Suggerirei di tornare alle origini con una chiave moderna dei piatti, più leggeri e meno pasticciati. La carne non era cattiva, ma anche qui, nulla di straordinario.
