Genuinely fantastic little morning cafe, especially for pastries. By far the best krapfen I’ve tasted in all of Milan! I also highly recommend the the muffins with pistachio filling! The coffee is pretty standard but clearly not the main draw. Still very pleasant. But just the overall setting of a corner cafe, operated by very warm and welcoming staff ties it all together as a truly lovely experience.

I've been going to Valente's for years and am always satisfied with my choice. All the friends I've offered cakes purchased here have complimented them. They are incredibly kind and helpful. I highly recommend this pastry shop!

20/01/2026: Excellent bar with many tables inside, good croissants with a choice of fillings.
25/12/2025: A truly excellent cappuccino. A velvety, perfectly whipped foam and the perfect balance of coffee and milk. The flavor is full yet delicate, with a creaminess that lingers until the last sip. Served with great care and attention to detail, it's the kind of cappuccino that makes even a simple break special. When quality is immediately apparent, nothing else needs to be said.

09/05/2026: I've been going there for at least 45 years. A historic Milanese bar near the Crocetta metro station. Delicious sandwiches. It's also a tobacconist.
