07/04/2024: We were shocked by how terrible the food was! The staff couldn't care less about us. The menu was written by hand in a very messy way.The portions unbelievably small and with very bad taste.We paid 25€ per person for the complete menu but they never brought us the dessert..We left so hungry that we had to find some street food afterwards. We have travelled all over Italy but this is by far the worst place to eat,a true disgrace for Italian cuisine.

04/04/2024: I called the restaurant making a reservation for 9/9.30pm, seeing that here on Google the restaurant closes at midnight.
On the phone the girl who took my reservation answers me saying "Okay at 9.30pm, perfect goodbye"
I called at 9.30pm to inform them that I would be literally 5 minutes late and they informed me that the kitchen closed at 9.30pm.
The girl even attacked me in the face while I was annoyed asking her how I would get there in time before the kitchen closed if it was 9.30pm🤣🤣 (LAUGHS OF DESPERATION GUYS), not even an excuse THEY ATTACKED ME IN THE FACE.
In the years that I've been eating out, something like this has NEVER happened to me, maybe I'm stupid, I don't know.
You left me without dinner in a hole with no alternatives where not even delivery arrives, beautiful girl

07/04/2024: The coffee is spectacular, worth repeating. The service and atmosphere is good and relaxed. It has sofas on the outside terrace and inside it is a cozy place. The bathroom is upstairs, which has direct access from the elevator, making it perfect for the disabled.
07/04/2024: Bad place, bad service, bad coffee!
After 20 minutes of waiting at the table, the barista told me from the counter that the 2 coffees were ready! They didn't even do table service!!!
I frequented bars in various train stations where the service was truly excellent... including coffee!

04/04/2024: You happen upon it by chance, after the exhibition, at the Palazzo della Ragione, for an aperitif. I can say: Manhattan done to perfection.
I will definitely return, also because having the opportunity for the owner to act as your tour guide around the square has something absolutely unique!
04/04/2024: Clearly the location is unquestionable, beautiful. Very expensive and dated food, nothing worth mentioning. Minimum service, rather inattentive even on the part of the managers who I saw arguing arrogantly with other customers.

Recommended for companies of friends and adults.
Very nice place with the ground floor available and a tavern downstairs, where it is also possible to play a game of table football.
The music that accompanies the evening without disturbing is much appreciated
Good service: The staff were welcoming and friendly,
The menu is well-stocked: typical Irish dishes accompanied by typical Bergamo cuisine together with various stuffed sandwiches.
The drinks list is also well stocked with Irish and non-Irish drinks.

Service was helpful and friendly, offering a great experience.
24/04/2024: It's been years since I went to Gennaro and Pia. A pleasant rediscovery! Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff, good and well served food. Excellent value for money.

Ristorante Ol Giopi' e la Margi'

16/02/2024: Eravamo di passaggio a Bergamo per qualche giorno e volevamo provare qualche piatto locale. La scelta è caduta su questo ristorante da cui siamo usciti molto soddisfatti.
Si comincia con un piccolo benvenuto a base di prosecco e alcuni stuzzichini (polpettone di polenta, salame bergamasco tartina al salmone e due ventagli di parmigiano). Abbiamo deciso di mangiare due antipasti con polenta perché volevamo assaggiare questa specialità bergamasca (involtini di verza e cane su letto di polenta, salumi bergamaschi con polenta). Come primi, abbiamo scelto i casoncelli e gli gnocchi ripieni: entrambi ben conditi e saporiti.
Per finire un dolce ed un caffè.
Totale 40€ a persona che per il livello del cibo e del servizio (personale gentile e presente ma non invadente) ci possono stare.
24/12/2023: Cena con amici rovinata: una maleducazione inaudita da parte del personaggio che serve ai tavoli (probabilmente titolare).
Menù concordato prima via mail.
Una volta chieste delucidazioni in merito al tagliere di salumi (eravamo in 7 persone e sono arrivate 4 fette di affettato) ci è stato risposto in questo modo: “Se non volevate spendere 5€ in più a testa per degli antipasti questo è il risultato”.
Entrati alle ore 21:10, ore 22:00 eravamo già al caffè.
Per non parlare del prezzo ingiustificato: 50€ a testa per due mini taglieri in 7 persone, un piatto di casoncelli che conteneva 5 ravioli contati, una fettina di brasato con due mini porzioni di polenta da dividere in tutto il tavolo, una fetta di torta, un caffè e una bottiglia di vino ogni 5 persone.
Vergognoso davvero.

09/01/2024: I discovered that coffee doesn't just have one flavor, but it has many!!! and Bugan is the best place to discover them!! they are well prepared, friendly, courteous, and the coffee becomes not only a dark drink, but a rainbow of sensations!!! try it!! Highly recommended, I'll be back whenever I can!!
